The Gran Turismo 2 Box Set. In this set there are a RX-7 Type RS, R34 Skyline GT-R V-Spec, S2000, Kure R33 Skyline GT, Lancia Stratos and a Mini Cooper 1275S MK1.

I did end up at Walmart late afternoon with my youngest son who needed another pair of shoes (the weather here can be hard on shoes) and while he was scouting footwear I picked up a few bucks worth of the $ 2013s.
Thinking of taking a few pics later and throwing it in here, but its artificial light I have to work with - and packages are usually a disaster to photograph when one is trying to show all the details.
I need to get Daylight bulbs.. . .

Great, now I'm not the only one around here who has a GT2 Tomica set. And you got a GT1 set as well? Screw. You.

And nice score on the 10 pack with the Black XB. I got one a few days too. My Black Falcon has narrow rear wheels, I'm thinking this is a error but I'm not sure.

Slooow day for me:

Already opened the hachiroku($1.50 on sale) and the Batmobile, that's what I got them for. Walmart finally got Retro Entertainment, but all I got to see were the empty pegs. They had Sesame Street cars, and with the right design on them, I'd have bought one or two, but I passed. That Retro Entertainment School Bus I passed the other day, too.

I've yet to see Ghost Busters from that series, so I'm very glad I shelled out $9 or whatever on eBay to get it.

Technically not a new model. It was planned for a series last year and canceled. Maybe that's why they kept it off the "new models" list.

I had to do some errands yesterday and I stopped by the store to see what they got in stock or what they had leftover. First I went to my local Walgreens and I found several 9 packs, but one got my full attention: one with the Falken 'Cuda and the....... BMW E30 M3, one I'm want bad along with the S2K Evasive Time Attack Car.

I finally said 🤬 it, I'll get it! Purchased the pack and went on my way to the next store. Hit the next one and I spotted more HWs I wanted and I gave in and got another 918, WRX STi GR, 2002ti, NA1.5 NSX, 350Z Z33 and a custom Chevy 1500 Pickup '69 for the taking.

Thank goodness I got a new storage box to replace that worn-out shoebox I been using for years (don't kill me Cano .) At least I got it for my spring cleaning chore for my room.

Spent $5 on 13 cars this morning. Unfortunately, I didn't arrive till 845 and the guy I bought from was finishing up a sale of 80 cars...for $32! The group included cars from blue card era through about 2002. I still found some decent stuff and considering most of them were 5/$2 I'm pleased.

Oh and I bought something else...what was it...oh yea, an enamel pink bugeye and a steering rig cab for .50 cents each.

Hmmm, guess I did okay when you think about it....

EDIT: Maybe I should head back and buy the rest of his blue cards and blue/white cards. He only wanted 40 cents for them after all.

Damn, i wish i still had my 1/43 Bburago version of the Pirelli Stratos, it was nowhere near as detailed or nice as that CM's, but i still used to love it.

I guess this one just has one antenna. I must've gotten "antennas" from the CM's Subaru and Toyota I have.

Hot Wheel car thrown in the pic to show scale. When you are looking at its detail, especially in photographs, you feel like you are looking at a 1/43. There is your antenna.

I don't know what it is about the Stratos, but i love it. It's the kind of car i imagine Buck Rogers would drive.

I'm not sure. Stratos is one of those childhood(more like toddler-hood) fav's, but I know very little about them. The stand says "Sanremos"?

Installed the antenna for the photo, but I think it looks better without it. I'd fabricate a skinnier antenna if I were to display it. I didn't even realize this before, but it actually has a side mirror attached to it.
