Can you stop pumping him up?
He's not supposed to have any of those cars. Especially not the Lotus and the Caddy woody thingamajiggy, as he calls it.

Madertus Life sucks, then you die:

DAT Nardo on the right Please...? c:

Special request from Madertus (though I'm mad at him for not showing his pussy often enough; how's that cat doing, anyway - he's 'our' mascot, too, you know.

Thanks Cano, and Harry, I really thought I'd never have those cars. I am soooooooooooooooooooo glad they found it. That Caddie, I've been after forever.

That Nardo car is Matchbox, right? Was there a Speed Machine one, too?

I don't think so - not sure about Speed Machines Nardo. However, the GR-1 in the pic is a Speed machine (Blues car; Shelby). Yes, the woody is a gem you bastard. Happy for you but still hate you. The Nardo came in a 5 pack of exotics. MB.

I've also been after that woodie for a real while now, but it always goes higher than what I want to pay for it.

If I remember correctly, R1600 was selling the entire set sometime ago.

I like the surfboards in the 'hearse' (as Kato calls it). I'll collect anything with surfboards.
Actually - there's quite a bunch of diecasts in the HW range alone that has surfboards.

The detailing on that damn Caddy is too awesome to believe. Damn you a6 - good pick. đź‘Ť Lucky for you it materialised again. :)

EDIT: BTW - a6 - I was so intent on studying the details on that Caddy that I clean forget what great photos you're taking of late. Like wow.

Hopefully this swells your head up so much it explodes and splatters stuff all over your cars.

The second pic of the Lotus (left flank of car) makes the car look real sweet. Those wheels are perfect on it - and yet I'm wondering what Silver Lace would do.

Nardo is one of a kind. Yeah, like Cano said, they usually go for just little higher than you are willing to go. I got this one for just tad change over $9(before shipping for all five cars), and it seems to be in absolute mint condition. I love it. :embarrassed:

Thanks for the compliment on my pictures, but they all seem to come out too dark. Maybe I need to play around with that iso setting or whatever.

Edit: Seller pictures of the Lotus.

Maybe one more bulb, then, a6-. Try to work with Halogen Daylight instead of Tungsten Bulbs. (Check the bulbs.) Shooting in daylight is best for natural colour.

The Nardo for instance is a really much darker shade than it comes off in my photography - because I used regular houshold Halogen 'soft white' bulbs. IRL the MB Nardo is basically sharkblood. It's a deep cherry.

I'll look into your suggestions. Thanks for the tips Harry. đź‘Ť

Took some close-ups of the Nardo a moment ago - uploading it to PB now.. . .prepare to be Nardoed.

This makes me want to do a live opening of the rest of the 'vettes waiting to be garaged. That's a word?

That didn't take long did it?

hehehe I'm one of those guys, and not only the model of the real car, I mean, the exact replica of the real one, I don't know why but Im sure nobody can call me crazy in here, cause we are all infected by the same illness đź‘Ť

I won't call you crazy, I've got an exact replica of my SL/E Commodore in 1.43. :D

Oh duuuuuuuuuuuuuude what a package!!! Awesome, A6!!! Color me 🤬 jelly for all of them!!!

I second this. Damn you a6. :grumpy:

I've never found any scale model of my car, only the IROC racecar version they used for a few years. :grumpy:

Apart from the Fiero, I could never find a Plymouth Sundance, '92 Regal, '95 Conti, Olds Intrigue, or Toyota Corona, all of which I owned.
There must be models of the '78 Corona, in existence, though. Gosh, I loved that car.
Actually I loved all my cars; the Regal was a graceful, powerful cat, the Sundance was a Lear Jet, the Continental was a high-speed luxo-cruiser. And I love my Intrigue right now, because it drives very much like a low-powered DTM car. Judging from what I feel in GT5. Peppy, fast, agile, and responsive.
I guess, if there is a model of one's car . . . it must be special. When you look at my line-up, apart from the Fiero, they are all fairly nondescript cars, though.

Think I'll go out to Walmart later today (about 2AM here) and look for the GT-R Zamac.

I'm sure there is a model of that generation of the Corona, Harry. That's pretty awesome that you had one, I love them too. :) đź‘Ť

Thanks for the heads up đź‘Ť.

New Zamacs showing up at Walmart.

:eek:đź‘Ť

I need TWO R34s, TWO Novas and maybe one Camaro SS. If I don't find them, especially the R34, can you keep a eye out?

Same here. I have a model of the Dodge Durango that my family had for years until it died :(. Got the truck with a Jeep along time ago and I loved him since. :D

I hope I can find a scale of a Maxima and Accord along with the Volvo 240 Sedan, El Dorado and Fleetwood Caddy when I was growing up :(, one day I will though :).

I have been in other cars as well that I just had to find a model of: C5 Corvette Z06, 350Z Z33 Coupe and Roadster, Dodge Viper GTS and RT/10, C6 Vette, Pontiac GTO '04, Hummer H2, a newer Nissan Maxima, Chevy Cruze and recently a Dodge Challenger RT! And I own quite a few....:D

Even cars I haven't been in/driven I have to get a scale or childhood cars (love the 80's-early 2000s cars and trucks) I have several. :)

@A6 or Shinji: Nice purchase and I'm glad that you got one of your packages finally! Now I see why Harry is raging mad. ;)

@photon: Great pics, especially the R35 and Nardo. I'm quite jelly filled since I don't have a Nardo yet!:crazy: ME WANT!!!!

@SVX: Where have you been man? And yes I love the Legacy, now I need one for my Subaru collection ASAP! I'm a Subie guy, so....... Don't make me go Zach on ya, give it up! :P

Have to go on eBay and see if I can get hold of some Zamacs those 3 look great:D

Awesome cars A6, that Caddy and the JL's:drool:

and that Nardo, I saw it once in a 5 pack but didn't grab it now I'm kickin myself and really want one:banghead: Great pics photonrider:tup:

I don't want you to ever say that to/about me EVER again ._O

And thank you for these two magnificent sets of that Nardo, this is properly magnificent!

Also I might go to some flea market not far away from my apartment, maybe I'll find something over there. So my cat won't be bored (he's perfectly fine by the way) :P

Also, I'll try and convince myself to buy this (sorry, Polish auction site):

100 zloty, it's about 24 euro...

Did my shopping today, seems like Target was pretty much empty, TRU had some old stock, but new Flying Customs with the Amphicar and what not. And finally...Walmart:

I hope these F&F cars don't cost more than $2.00.

I think this is the first good-looking ZAMAC.

 Ooops. Needed your attention so I let the cat out of the bag. Should I be talking about Polish sausage, then?

You are truly welcome, my friend. I noticed the interest in the Nardo so I thought I'll throw in some close-ups to satisfy your curiosity. After all that is the core idea here - to show off and talk about our collections and collecting.
The Nardo is not very popular as a model, though, hardly made - in fact I'm looking for another MB 5-Pack, since I want a second one to be left in the pack - I want to customise this one to look like the one in GT5. Tough colour to imitate, though.
I used to take the GT4 Nardo endlessly around around the Test Ring, blazing speed, clutching the wheel with a death grip, breathlessly micrometers away from the wall, lap after lap, after the day's fighting IRL stop-and-go traffic.

Also I might go to some flea market not far away from my apartment, maybe I'll find something over there. So my cat won't be bored (he's perfectly fine by the way) :P

TBH - long time since we saw him sprawled amongst your cars vieing for attention or taking over one of your car storage boxes.
Dogs like real cars. Cats I've noticed, prefer the diecast variety.
Then again . . . could be just the breeds I hang with. ;)
