Just a pity no-one over here stocks them

I don't think I see the white Testarossa from the Miami Vice in there. Magnum P.I. is one of my all-time favorite shows so I'm kind of excited about their cars...... and a CHOPPA! Island Hopper, I'm pretty sure that was T.C.'s Hughes 500 chopper.

My request to Mattel: Please produce the crap out of them, because they will disappear completely between the scalpers & hoarders.

What info? All I found was the list on T-hunted. That's a release schedule for each Lot (A, B, C, etc). Figure a month for each one, give or take.

That's just stupid now. They aren't just releasing iconic cars, they are releasing cars that appeared on the show appart from the star car, that fit their casting lineup. Freaking lame.

I don't know guys, there's gonna be some cool variations of those existing castings like the '68 Cutlass and Ferrari Daytona which will be in convertible form.
Can't forget about the new castings of the Ferrari 250 California and '71 Satellite too.

yeah, that's why it's lame. Once you cross certain line, it's like bleeeh.

Today I got yet another Lincoln TH, a Camaro cop car TH, a 67 Firebird error, a Highway Hauler 2 error, another 38 Cadillac to customize, and other two cars I can't remember.

It costs a lot of money for them to make a new casting, and then they have to get good use out of it. I think the way they are doing it is fine with me.

a bit disappointed in the supra's quality went to franks and the guy was unloading some of the new cases right in front of us. Some guy left with 3 supras. it was 2 bucks, but compared to that ebay link, it seems like i got a bargain

Haven't opened mine yet, but at the price of $1.97, it does seem quite a bit... But there were only two on the peg at my book store so I decided...why not? The tires are very thin on it, would rather have an SV though. Wonder if they offer their other models here in the US as well (that I saw off of their website). Want the Toyota Alphard!

Supra is quite poor looking...and as said before, depressing seeing how they're skipping out on quality to force you to get the F&F one if you want more tampos and better wheels. :grumpy:

They better do a better quality mainline one in the future.

I'm putting it off for now - I like to to the whole thing is one whack, then sort them out and put them away in the various places they have to be thrown in - customising, dioramas, storage boxes for view and play, general open display . . . and the smaller box of stuff is all stuff that remains carded and used for wall displays.

Some recent stuff:

The left hand box was stuff that was still awaiting opening - when the smaller box made its appearance - this is the loot from the $5.00 5-Packs. It's all sorted now and the smaller box now holds only what will remain carded. For now.

They are putting out the F&F cars already?! Man, I hope they aren't going to be a WalMart exclusive though. Plus, I hope I can find the cars soon :nervous:

The Ferrari in Miami Vice was indeed a Testarossa, not a 512M :odd:

. I don't know why they would use the 512 though, but I'll still get it. I'm glad they have the Daytona Spyder 358 also, but I do remember seeing a Lamborghini Countash in the program and many more. I even spotted a Trans-Am Firebird in one episode where they put a tracking device on a speedboat and Crocket or Tubbs driven the T/A to follow it.

So many cool cars on that show.

I agree, Mattel, please make more of them also.

That's what I been wondering about myself. They didn't even tampoed the headlights and tail lights on the MKIV. They got the Bomex bodykit right, but the spoiler was carbon fiber wing from either Bomex or APR, not colored in orange.

And it was a targa top MKIV, not a hard top. :indiff:

But I'll get three Supras regardless. But please improve the Supra in the future. 👍

I wonder if any of those wannabe "import car enthusiasts" is gonna buy one of these cars and put it in their "JDM iz tyte yoo!" Civics with the hellafail (not the nicely done stance cars though) camber and fart can, then think that the F&F 1:64 will give them 9000hp. :facepalm: :lol:

Yeah, man, got to open cars . . . procrastination is only leading to a pile up! :lol:

Thing is I want to take some pics, too - so I have to set it all up . . . and when it comes to play, I tend to get lazy; all my energy is taken up by some kind of work or another.
Plus I still have to make some pick-ups, before all the new more popular variations disappear off the pegs. I like buying fresh.

Among my ebay scores this past two weeks was a lot from hemi_hauler. He's a pretty respected seller and because of that his stuff, much like splittnimage, trentsteele2010 and a few others tends to bring slightly above average eBay value. But you can't argue with the quality. Can't wait for them to arrive.

I'm now waiting for 8 packages totaling 26 cars on top of the 19 I've already received. Some of the highlights are airport rescue, mustang svo, peugeot 505 all on card.

Paid nearly retail for about half the stuff, but Ive been gathering so much profit from selling.99 veyrons for $25-30 that I bought things of my MUST HAVE list that I wouldn't have normally.
