That DB7 looks pretty good, would be cool if that casting ever came back. Might hunt for one at my local flea markets...

Have to say, I'm not a big fan of that Evasive body kit... (Well, not really since it's a race car) I'd rather have the Rocket Bunny one if they did have to make it with a body kit. Rear fender doesn't work for me... But having a stock FR-S would be ambitious since I can't imagine the normal shape would appeal to kids as much.

On the other hand...that NSX!

Rather curious as to when the 2000GT will be coming out... Since the NSX pictures showed up, they're apparently part of the K mix. And the 2000GT photos have been out for a while.

2013 IS A GOOD YEAR!

Almost made me look like I overspent on my Kyosho Huayra of the same colour.

More cars are going into the damn Illustrious series and I still haven't found time to get working on them yet.

It is nice to see that they have the Pagani license now. Would have been nice to see them with a Zonda though. Next up, they need a Koenigsegg.

You laugh now about that Koenigseggisseggggnignigsegigisegggg, but looking how this year is turning out, I wouldn't be surprised to see an Agera or most likely its successor in the Hot Wheels lineup within the next year or two.

I believe I paid around $16 for it on daboxtoys. That wzlucky or the other Kyosho ebay seller listed it for $22.

Glad you guys are using daboxtoys. Felix and I are talking about a lot of stuff, and getting them even cheaper for overseas collectors is one of them. We want to see the Kyosho and Kyosho OEM models expand here. He's got two sets of Lambos, the Ferrari 458 GT2, and Toyota 86's all coming.

And did you see the exclusive Toyota 86's he just put up? An ode to the panda AE86, and I had a small hand in its design, along with Ben at JNC. It was very cool to be a part.

So the 2000GT is in the J case? No sign of that stuff here, but did finally find the Scirocco at Target. But didn't really bother.

Oh and Andy, don't bother picking up the Gallardo, but I'll still take it off of you if you did already buy it. Got these at Walmart. (Which also had the RE A-Team van, KITT, and Batmobile)

I like the selection available on dabox. What does bug me is that a handful of his 1/64 Kyoshos are sold out, yet he keeps them on the catalog. It annoyed me to see the SL65 Black only to find it's sold out when I click on the thumbnail.


To answer your question, no. I haven't been on dabox since my last purchase. I'll be sure to check it out soon.





Oh. Harry. How are the Targets at your place? I went to the one at Square One and the selection is horrid. It's all September-October 2012 stuff. The up side is that I'm seeing SRT Vipers again and the late 2012 Boulevards (except the F40), and the cars are only $1.02 versus $1.37 Walmart and $1.49 Toys R Us. But the quantity of pegs is comparably lower than Walmart's still. I'm going to Cloverdale's today after class. Hopefully there will be a bit more, but so far Target looks shabbier than I expected.

I just got their Ad Flyer, yesterday, Andy - nothing much to be excited about. I have been to Targets before (in the States) and liked the look and the product range, and whenever I shopped there I got excellent and friendly service. Not sure what is going to happen here, though.
The Zellers that closed down in the eastern part of Scarborough was turned into a Walmart, but the one down south on the Danforth was turned into a Target - haven't been in there yet.
Not a big event for me, coming from a huge background in Retail, but will be interesting to see what they have in the way of diecasts, of course. If they bring in some brands not already carried by Walmart or Toys R Us - well, there we go, they'll be cornering a slice of the market.

As for discovering oil - guys, I said I discovered oil, not struck it, for heaven's sakes. Striking it would probably mean some digger in the outfit didn't look at the blueprints and slammed into someone's pipeline.

The oil I meant was all over the Bone Shaker I opened recently - guess where the oil came from?

Just got back from the HW meets with:

- Regular 2000GT
- F&F Supra
- Star Trek Enterprise
- Lotus Evora
- All 3 new Zamacs
- $uper Datsun 240Z

All for $25. Considering what the Datsun goes for on eBay, I think I did ok.

I was so surreal holding the new Supra as I've seen it plastered all over the interweb for past few months. I can't imagine what it will feel like finally having a 2000GT.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the Enterprise and 2000GT?

2000GT was $1.50.

I got the Enterprise and the Supra in a package deal. The guy wanted $5 for the Enterprise and $3 for the Supra. I told him I only had $5 left in my pocket and he agreed to sell them both to me for that amount. Over paid, sure. But not many of those Enterprises hitting the pegs (some only 1 to a box) so it was worth it to me. Plus I got a screaming deal on the 240Z ($15) so that made up for it too.

I went shopping this morning & hit every store on the way or way back. I found not one thing I was after. I did pick up the Mystery Car Mini which Medigo posted(oopsie, forgot to take pic). Also some clearance cars, couple of them I already have, but I want to open these:

Another recommended seller. Great service, decent deal on Boulevards. Finally scored the '69 Camaro. I let it slip away once, never saw another one again until now.

I'm glad some of you had luck scoring the coveted newer mainline cars, but I'm not sure if I saw a single one in stores? From Zamac(or whatever) GT-R to Bumper car to Kool Kombi, I never ever saw one in stores. It really sucks that at the end of work Friday, my 🤬 coworker sets the new orange Kool Kombi in his cubical, and before I could ask him where he got it, he's pork chop sandwiched out of there. I'll ask him Monday.

Good luck finding a Kombi in the stores. If you find one, buy a lottery ticket too.

I caved in and bought the new 5-pack with the new 24/seven in it today. And that's it for my purchases until the next meet...
