Oh yeah, how about this:

Today I thought I'd pick up a couple more Huayras and NSXs for future customs.
I got home and started ripping them open only to have a Huayra fall apart in my hands.
That's right, it was unspun. Now I don't know what to do with it.

Give it to me maybe :sly:

But in all seriousness give it to AOS or R1600Turbo

I was trying to high five my boys but they thought I was silly, "its just a matchbox car dad" they said:lol:

They have much to learn.
Thanks mate:tup: and that Ruff Trek was sooo worth the wait:drool:

👍 Still can't believe I was the only one who bid on it.
Here's a pic of the '55 Chevy Panel with the bike.

Dude the Hummer's cool and all, but the Chevy. Wow.👍
Damn, it looks even nicer in your picture. You gonna have to really give it to me now.

Let me tell you it's even nicer in person. And still no.

"Who's that over there?"

"Oh. That's Zakyta - a matchbox car dad."

Whoa. Whoa. This comes as a complete surprise. I like you already.

Love that Goodyear truck, Shinji. Kick-ass cool.

Yeah, I thought that Goodyear Chevy Panel was going to be turned into "parts", as I just got it for the bike. After taking a close look, and seeing the "Goodyear" tires, she's a keeper! Thanks guys. 👍

I was only gonna put a $5 price tag on it and probably ship it for less.

Don't worry man, I promise I'll keep the price low. I'm talkin' less than a buck a car.
Also, sorry I haven't made it to the place yet, I've been busy last couple weekends, but this weekend looks promising! :D

I'll be lookin' forward (:

OK, I got two cars today:

Is that the Jada 1/24 scale, because I used to have that. I paid $5 on clearance, and sold it for $90 on eBay. :P

Actually, that's made by AUTOart. It's a 1:18 scale of the Special Tuned version of the Hachiroku.

Bought it from Japan for 20000 yen.

Hontouni takai da zo!

:sly:
When you put it in perspective though, 1/64's going for $30+ was it? 1/24 for $100(I had it sold for $100+, she backed out on eBay). Roughly $200 for 1/18 from a much superior model maker isn't really out of line. I wouldn't pay it, but it is what market bears. :D

Edit: Once again, it seems you did good.

After reading this, I'm gonna start looking under the cars and see if they have their rivets installed now.

But if I'm lucky, especially with a car I want..... Then I'll be posting in the HW custom thread shortly. :)

Can't wait, hope there's some F&F cars as well. :)

@RCK and A6: At first I thought that AE86 was a Jada at first, but a AutoArt, high end quality and for 20K yen ($200 USD)!!!!

Nice, move RCK. And it's still blowing my 2JZ GTE! (pun intended)👍

I found it among the 1:18 AUTOart boxes in the Yodobashi Camera dept. store in Akihabara (I would love going back to Akihabara!), and as I purchased it, the cashier just smiled at me, as if he knew that it's a rare item (or perhaps a fan of Initial D)

Well, I have a few dump versions, but no tank ones.
Of all the places that I've been to that have '90s Hot Wheels, I cannot recall ever seeing each version of the truck.
But I think the tank truck is more rare, because the dump truck has more moving parts and thus more popular. Plus the dump version has been made for longer.

I did see that. Of course the obvious comment is that it's such a shame that it's a TH.
I saw a silver RX-7 in that one photo a while ago with those prototypes and other cars on that desk with the RLC Gulf 917, and was excited for a new RX-7, but I don't think anyone expected it to be a TH.

For the lazy kids:

That makes three THs this year that I will need duplicates of for wheels swaps/details:
Challenger Drift Car
Fiesta
RX-7

Considering how easy it is for me to get a regular treasure hunt at the Friday meets, I'm not worried about not getting it. May cost me about $5-6 to get it, but that's cheaper than eBay...
