I remember having the 4X4 beetle as a kid. Yellow and red with a strangely red spare wheel and engine :)

Is making videos of our car collections allowed? because I'll make one of mine instead of trying to upload pics from my Ipod.

Absolutely not. This thread is a video free zone. We're way too hardcore for that.

[/sarcasm]

:P

Make one if you want to make one, it's your collection. And we'll all gladly watch it. đź‘Ť

Picked up an Acura NSX Concept last night on the way home. Don't really need it, but brought it to work and put it on my desk next to my orange 911 GT3 RS and my BMW M3 from the Lamely custom contest.

Show them to me again in a few months, it'll be new to me again.

That's the great thing about collecting sometimes - you go back and look at something and it's all new again. :)

Only time I edit with PB is to un-rotate the images turned sideways by the uploading process. I just cut/paste images together on MS Paint. :D

Getting quite good at getting our attention, I must say . . . đź‘Ť

You can't trick me Harry, this one IS new..... and very cool. đź‘Ť

Bottom line, I think it really pays to research the shipping charge structure beforehand.

Online is all about shipping. It's never down from the street where you live.

I haven't really bought anything new in ages - a couple of Disney HWs, some new Mainline . . . the MB pegs are dry . . . and I see nothing new from Major, Maisto, Bburago, etc on the pegs. :(

I know online's a feast - but not going there right now. Not that serious a 'collector'. :)

They are all nice(and different), but I especially like the fox-body Mustang. đź‘Ť And Andy sort of stole zakyta's thunder, but very nice pic & the car looks even cooler than I figured. Hood looks like it opens? Somebody needs to customize that one with some real rider tires!

This is true for me with the 90's collectibles. I don't have very many, but the other day, I found some GI Joes & "Lost" figures(tv show) which I had forgotten all about. It was very cool. :D I'm sure it would be the same way with my hot wheel cars.

Very good casting & detailing job is superb for mainline hot wheel. Don't care for the real car, but the hot wheel is very cool.

Picked up a couple of cars at the supermarket today.

A pair of Monster Jam Crushstation's.

A pair of Bump Around's. The carded one is missing a little bit of paint on its back but I couldn't get it to show up in the pics properly so I didn't bother posting it. Also a Combat Medic and a Matchbox GMC Bus.

When I saw that Crushstation in the larger, friction motor scale, I knew it was only a matter of time before it was released in a smaller scale.
And once it did, I just had to have one!

Crushstation, I like the sound of it. :lol:đź‘Ť

I have some good news. We just rented a car for the weekend. That means I can hit a few of the stores in Vegas and hope that they have something in stock, especially the F&F cars.

Get excite, my friends.

Want the 308. Would get the T-bird only if I saw it in stores (wouldn't buy online).

308 is a maybe, Miami Vice would've been a must have(at all cost), had it been the actual Testarossa, but I'll pass. Don't care much about the rest. If it doesn't get scalped, and if I actually see it on the peg, I might buy that Brady Bunch station wagon, because I do like land yachts & big station wagons.

Cano or somebody pointing out the casting whoring by Mattel really cooled me down on these.

Sweet grab.

Oh also, Ruff Trek for $4.24 for those who collect 'em: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Matchbox-19...88178?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item589a93a072

That same seller I bought that Speed Machines FXX for $15 is the only one on eBay selling a Speed Machines 599XX in yellow and red. $15 and $20 respectively.

What gives?! Suddenly I found out there are a WHOLE ton of Speed Machines I've never even heard of. Does this mean people don't want to sell their Speed Machines? How can that possibly translate to Speed Machines not selling well? They were for the most part all very popular castings; race cars with racing livery, AND had cool wheels for customizing hobbyists to nab. They should totally do something like Speed Machines again. Forget the silly Flying Customs. That's a mistake they need to learn from.

Oh and Jason, are you still selling those Pikes Peak Celicas?

Oh darn. I just lost an auction on the PP Celica with the "Hot Wheels Racing" tampo and LW wheels. I thought $5 would've covered it but it didn't. I also lost a burgundy MX5 Miata. Someone would pay more than $3 for it.

DiabolicPanda, might you have by any chance found more things to offer me?

Killer price on the Trueno!

I went grocery shopping today & it was weird. *I better upload the pic*

Found couple of cars that were impossible to find for me when new. HW Mystery Machine & MBX Buick Century Police Car. Olds 442 is a eBay purchase I made so I can have a extra one loose. It's one of the cars that got me in this hobby 2, 3 years ago. I wish I never saw it!
