Is that thing a zamac?

Not 100% sure. Might have to ask Cano.

Looks like a Zamac . . . but I could be wrong. It's the only one I have, and unopened as yet.

I know this one isn't a 'zamac': :D

Me nether. I have that vehicle and it doesn't look like it has been painted. I am going to see what south texas diecast says.

Yeah . . . and let us know the results. :)

Just looked and it is listed as a zamac! ;) Just as I figured.

Oh! Goody! A FE Zamac. Just what I need. :D

Packaged, too, to keep me traumatized. Obviously the Generale is going to yell at me to open it up.

Not what it seems. It is not a special Zamac like the ones that came in the mid-2000s that were hard-to-find variations of cars with paint, the first eidition of that car is unpainted, that is all. It's nothing special. All of them were like that, there weren't any FE 32 Deuces with paint. It's common as chips so stop bein' tormented by it, dude. Rip it open.

Well, what a surprise. Thought this would be here next week but it was here in 3 days flat.

And what a beauty. So glad to finally have it, and to have only paid $16 for it. Looks even better in person.

P.S. nice 24hr avatar Cano 👍

Trade you my avatar for your Texas Drive 'Em

Also, BLATANT rip-off from Hot Wheels of that blistercard image. I wonder if they ever talked with the photographer of this:

about using it for their blistercards.

How did you manage that? Is that with shipping?

When I bought mine, it was a hot item everywhere. On eBay, I don't think I saw one cheaper than $25.

Ha, I'll think about it...eh, nah, I'm good.

And that's really close. Do the tires say Real Riders too?

Yes with shipping. HWC.com had leftovers from the original shipment (uncompleted transactions I think) that they finally put back up. They set a time, and I had my info ready and F5'd like a pro. I think they only had about 4 dozen or something. I read a lot of complaints of people not getting one and people saying they were gone in seconds (and various other conspiracies haha)

You mothertrucker, you are my hero!👍
I can't find any, sadly.
I looked for it tonight, but I couldn't find one either. Outrageous. *shakes fist*

It really *bleeps* me off. Kyosho, Hot Wheels, CM's, Matchbox, everybody needs to make one! Closest I got tonight was a 1/87 by some company I had never heard of. I think it was called herpa? Yeah, pass.

P.S. I finally ordered CM's Super Delta tonight. I made sure to get a different one than yours, but they both look pretty frigging sweet anyways! :D

Majorette did some variants of the BMW M Coupe. I have a blue one given away to my nephew.

There was 1, $4.

It's one of the top 3 castings this year.

Oh. But for $4 bucks that a really good price for it.

I know right ;)? That 993 GT2 is freaking beautiful and deserves the top 3 casting rank, period.

I thought Daboxtoys plans to distribute Kyoshos in the U.S.? Here in the Philippines, Kyoshos are hard to come by too; luckily for me though, I have a friend whose wife lives in Japan hence he sells Kyosho 1:64s for a living.

Then that hobby store where I also bought some of them, they just got those Kyosho sets from another source, not sure if it is from HK or Japan.

Kyosho did a couple of Nissan Skyline GT-R sets already, and then there's the Honda set (with that hard to find NSX Type R NA1 that costs 30 USD today). Haven't seen a Subaru nor a Mitsubishi set (except for the BRZ 3-car set).

Alfa Romeo, Italian car collection and British car collections are interesting sets too, where the McLaren F1 is sought after.

Then there's also The Circuit Wolf set (which I'm DYING to get)

Oh, Kyosho also released this:

Competition from Greenlight, perhaps...

I think they are still going to sell here in the States, Philippines I haven't checked about Daboxtoys and their situation for some time. I'll look it up later though.

And you are lucky, just lucky :P! You got a easier chance getting some Kyoshos, since you have contacts.

And I gotta get the Skyline GTR family set and the rest too. Come on Daboxtoys, bring some good news to us collectors.

Better than me, all the ones I could find were 1/18. Guess I didn't try hard enough.

eBay has some weird search protocols that omits some results. That Lancia Super Delta I just ordered? I paid $3 more because of that stupid search engine. I could swear I saw one cheaper, but I could never find it again, so I settled for the one I bought, then paid for it. I go to the watched item page, and there it is for $3 less. Where the heck was it when I was looking for it? I used the same exact search terms used in the very title, but it would not come up. WHAT THE FRENCH, TOAST!?

Dude, those are all a bunch of crap. Most of the cars are newer stuff that no one wants and that will only land you extra cars that will sit with you forever, and the cars that are worth something, read: the older cars, are so beat up they're not worth anything either.

You really need to do your homework if you're planning on buying big lots. Look, this was one hell of a purchase:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-64-HOT-WH...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

opening bid, $24 for 43 cars, they are blackwall-era cars in great shape for the most part and some of them pretty rare (blue Pacer), and there are even a slew of redlines in there including a Mustang Stocker. I'm gonna make a killing off this package and I even landed myself a couple of variations I didn't have and a redline Mustang to restore.

And that's really close. Do the tires say Real Riders too?

No, but the wheels in the real car are very VERY similar to the ones in the blistercard

That even better news as well! I'm gonna research on Daboxtoys later. After 24hrs of LeMans, I'm totally beat.

Daboxtoys may not have a specific distributer in the US, but they lowered their shipping rates to make as close to US shipping rates as possible. Plus, they are constantly doing sales (Lamley just did one with the Kyosho Alfas), and the price goes down even more. I think it is pretty reasonable.

Just won a 100 Car Lot on eBay for $13.64. From the pics shown, there's some pretty nice stuff in there. Looking forward to the arrival of that. I'll have even more cars to customize/collect. Already have hundreds.

More awesome cars there guy's, especially that Texas drive 'em:drool:

Grabbed a few new cars over the weekend:
Some Flying Customs & Combat Medic

Some random Matchbox, Welly Hummer, another Kool Kombi and finally grabbed myself an Enterprise:tup:

Enterprise dwarfed by my larger scaled one:D

and lastly an eBay delivery today, the 2 Commodore Race Team cars, thanks again Space for the link:bowdown::cheers:

Maybe one of you guys can offer some insight on this: I've recently heard that there wil be a Hot wheels Retro Case H released at the end of June/early July. the thing is, the Retro line is supposed to end at G, which should only be available at the end of the year some time. Word is, that the H Batch will consist of cars from Batch A (Ecto, KITT, 32 Ford, Mystery Machine, Batmobile) and/or Batch B (A-Team Van, KARR, Edsel, Trans Am and Muppet Bus). Apparently a few online stores have them up on preorder....

Not what it seems. It is not a special Zamac like the ones that came in the mid-2000s that were hard-to-find variations of cars with paint, the first eidition of that car is unpainted, that is all. It's nothing special.
Well of course it isn't special, I never said it was. Considering it was introduced like that, that made it obvious. Still ether way, the fact it is a zamac is what makes it awesome! :dopey:

I got me one of those from Kit Kringle years ago and as matter of fact I seen it last time I went in there. ;)

Aoshima 1/64 Shakotan Boogie Mazda FC3S RX-7:
Damn those paint bubbles...

Damn the paint on that thing is utter trash. How much did you paid for it, Kakashi? It would be awesome -as all the Shakotan Boogie cars- if it was well finished, cartoony and all.
