Tell me about it, thinking the same thing. The 2013 series wasn't as bad but I remember waiting so long for the shops around here to start stocking the 2012 series. And once again really nice score. Especially the Circle Trucker (first time I've seen a picture of the 2014 version) and the Dastun. 👍

Some great cars there zakyta_4. But my bulk purchases are over for a long time I just brought another real car. Ill post some pics when I pick it up next weekend.
Thanks guys:tup: and congrats on the new 1:1 ben & also the stuff you grabbed off A6, some great stuff in that lot:drool:

........ I think I hate you I mean, congrats!

Thanks mate, thats my feeling after all your posts:lol:
Also some great stuff, P-32 & Auto-Hauler are just awesome:eek:

Sorry mate, some 2014's I grabbed yesterday:lol:

Also a Foose Firebird:

and lastly a couple of retro's, Ferrari Racer, Greenlight Bandit's Firebird & Flying Customs Olds:)

So I've been opening handful of cars with bad card, or cars that I know are keepers? I opened my Garage Volkswagen T1 Drag Bus tonight, and it really sucks:

So far so good.......

What!?

Pic on the left are how they are supposed to look. One have white cage, other have red. On the right is the newly cracked open Drag Bus error. It's missing the flipping cage & I just opened it! :guilty:

If it was still in package, I could have sold it(I have no interest in error cars), but now I just have a Bus that's a joke every time I open up! :ouch:
Thanks mate, thats my feeling after all your posts:lol:

Thanks! Some really cool cars, but the Greenlight Smokey & Bandit Trans Am is something else. Is it a current release?
No on the Civic. Next case I think. (B Case)
Ah, right on. 👍

Here's hoping that the Dream Tomica Initial D AE86 Trueno will be out at the start of the week, as promised by the store.
Mine showed up at my p.o. box today. It showed up five days ago in L.A., could have still picked up from my po box today, but their tracking, not just their transit has been slow.

This is the only light in my room AOS.

Your room cant be that dark. I'm guessing it's part of your camera's auto exposure, in which case you'll definitely need one bright light source brought very close to the car when photographing. Try it out with a large flashlight or desk lamp one day.

Sorry mate, some 2014's I grabbed yesterday:lol:

Prototype/24 Ours REPRESENT! Someone else who collects the same fantasy cars as I. High 5.

On the right is the newly cracked open Drag Bus error. It's missing the flipping cage & I just opened it! :guilty:

Without opening it, that would've been practically impossible to tell, wouldn't it?

Well...as doubtful as I was, there were actual 2014s added to the dump bin and already overflowing pegs. :D

And got this from Mark! (Racegrooves)

Those 2014 shipments probably won't see its way in for a while.

Good to note the Impreza has a metal body. Means I can strip some paint now!

Ah. I thought you guys were talking about the hatchback WRX, but it's the older sedan.

Without opening it, that would've been practically impossible to tell, wouldn't it?

Unless you knew what to look for, and took a flashlight to it, I believe you are right.

Well, Cano here are the pictures I was telling you I would get. :) I was only in there maybe 3-4 minutes so I wasn't able to get much but I did get these. ;) I got home later than expected so that is why I wasn't able to get them up yesterday but here they are now! :)

[LONG POST WARNING]

Here are some better pictures of the Custom Mustang I made for you. ;) $55 of pure awesomeness! :D

Of course, here is the Show Hoss II I was telling you about as well. ;) I had my mom hold it while I made the picture. As you can see, it has some wear and tear on it but the decals are pretty much intact and it still rolls just fine. ;) Due to my shortsightedness, I forgot to take a picture of the price tag but I did look at it and it is $4 just as I thought. ;)

Here are some pictures of the glass display I found the Show Hoss II in as well as some other great castings in there. ;)

I looked for that Corvette I spotted last time that didn't seem to have any of its original paint and the man that ran the place told me that someone had bought it, so afraid I don't have a picture of that one. :banghead: He also told me he had done some rearranging recently and because of that I wasn't able to find that Mongoose I saw last time, however, I did manage to find this ;) :

This Mongoose came in recently and the price tag on it is $25 but the seller said he would go down to $20. ;)

Here are some other redlines I found that I could get for under $20 if I asked for a lower price. ;) I made sure I got the price tags in these. ;)

Custom Barracuda. Price tag says $24, but he said he would go down to $20 for it. ;)

Ferrari 329 or whatever it is called (I forget the name). Price tag is $22, but he said he would go down to $19. ;)

There were many others $20 and under but I didn't get the chance to get them all. :indiff:

Here is a Roll Royce Silver Shadow I have been drooling over for quite a while now, and it is only $10! :dunce: Reason for it is because there is something wrong with the windshield and there is a burn mark on the side of it as you can see. ;) I am definitely getting this one next time I go in there! :dopey:

Dude don't take pictures of them, grab them!!! If the Show Hoss is around $4 like your other grabs, don't let it go.
I would have, but due to the release of GT6 coming soon, I wasn't able to get anything. :indiff:

Edit: Reuploaded since I no longer need Photobucket.

And not a single one of them is in mint condition, SVX.

Also, I've never heard of a URL formatted as "[/CENTER]".

Op shop, remember. If these were mint condition, they'd be on Trade Me/eBay going for $50.

Give me some time, will ya? :P

SVX
;)

I'm pretty sure they call them thrift stores in the US?

Oh... Op Shop. I used to like going to those places to find cars, but it was already in bad condition... at least I don't spend $20 there unlike online. :P

2005 Mainline. LWs just look really nice on Shelby Cobras.

Fun fact, did you know there's two different lace-style wheels in the Mattel production? Sometimes, they still use the WSPs even though LW pretty much succeeded them a while ago.

And this one, too.

Been a while since the Panda last posted, but I hope he sees these so he'll about have an aneurysm.

I have acquired over 1000 matchbox-hot wheels in mint condition...75% still in the package or box. From the late 50s to the 2000s. In Atlanta ...wanting to sell them all...im a book collector not a car guy.

Then by all means put them up on ebay as selling is not allowed here. We have a dedicated subforum for it and you'll need to become a premium user.

As far as I know, they're the same.

The number of spokes is the same as far as I know, the only difference is that sometimes they are finer or more precise looking. i.e. the lace wheels used on Corgi castings.

Damn... Kyosho should have made a Rubystone Red version of it. I read the Kanojo no Carrera! LOL

ZaChen is close. If you look at what is supposed to be the lug nut pattern–where the opening is for the axle tip, the opening is shaped more like a hexagon. The number of spokes remains the same. LWs tend to have curvier edges, whereas WSP tend to be more straight. The finer hard-angled lace wheels are found on corgi castings.

Retro cars for this year. Not really interested in many of them, maybe the F&F cars and the Star Trek Enterprise...

Edit: Oops, a photo would be nice. :dunce:
