Some great cars there zakyta_4. But my bulk purchases are over for a long time I just brought another real car. Ill post some pics when I pick it up next weekend.

Post it with the 1/64 version, then it would be relevant to the thread. Something tells me that this car isn't a Daewoo!

It's a Daewat

Toyota+Land+Cruiser+(2010+Off-Road+Adventure+10-pack).jpg

Both these utility vehicles are from a 2010 10-pack, and yes one can sell these for a high price, because no one buys 10-packs and now they are scarce on the black market*.

*Black Market refers to the second-hand market. Namely eBay.

Girlfriend and I stopped at the flea market with the good diecast prices (buy 20, get 12 free) and each got 16 cars.
Pictures tomorrow, but now for my Walmart experience tonight...

I saw some A and Q case stuff, but nothing I wanted. Except for the Scubaru TH. :)
Because it was late and they were restocking, we decided to look over the pallets to see if there was anything.
There was. A box of MBX 60th cars (Jag, Explorer, Scout, Cab) and a tiny 12 car box of Jukebox cars.
So, we cracked open the box and there were two Sam Walton trucks! Two in a box of 12! I also got the grunge Mustang that was in that box as well.
We went back to the pallets to look more. Shortly after, a greasy Walmart employee (assuming from the automotive department) asked if needed any help and we said no, we were just looking for Hot Wheels.
Then he says "You have to wait until those are put up before you can buy them."
I told him he was wrong and that because they were on the floor, they were fair.
He replied saying "No, because if you were to cut yourself opening the boxes, Walmart would be reliable for that."
I said sorry and walked away. And yes, he did say "reliable."

Sure, whatever. When the forum update goes live and we don't necessarily need image hosting sites anymore, I suggest you keep posting sideways pics, just because. :dopey: And speaking of that, looks like you might need a new signature.

Congrats. I'll keep an eye out for those pics when you post them. 👍

I ended up going, mainly for the Datsun truck & did I get lucky. Collector I've met before, he had already gotten the employee to open up new small dump bin. Quick update pic:

I got everything I was after with the exception of the Jetsons & TH Subaru. I asked the collectors group if they found any THs, they just said .....couple One of the guy offered me the TH Fiesta, but I declined after thanking him, as I already have one.

Second Walmart, same crew, but they were denied! I think similar thing as McZ, but when I asked these collectors if they were going to open it up for them, they told me that employees actually pulled the thing back to stock.

Here's my Treasure Hunt:

Been looking all over for this thing, for my nephew.

I found couple more cool cars, but I'll post those later.
Dear God I want that in my life.

You are messed up J-Dawg!

That flipping Crash! If he didn't throw me under the bus, I'm convinced it would've been able to survive, just like last time & times before that.! j/k

Hey Cano, that fall festival I mentioned earlier is today by the way and I will probably go in that antique mall again and if I do I will try to get some pictures of that Custom Mustang, Show Hoss II, that Corvette that didn't have any paint from what I can see, as well as the Mongoose if I see them as well as whatever other interesting ones I find. ;) I have been told I will have 10 minutes in there, hopefully there I will be able to get them all in time. ;)

If I do, they should be up by the end of the day. ;)

Dude don't take pictures of them, grab them!!! If the Show Hoss is around $4 like your other grabs, don't let it go.

And damn you and all of your 2014's. :grumpy:

Like I said, I got lucky. I don't go thru sealed cases on the pallets, though I have asked a employee at this particular Walmart if it was OK to open one up, and he opened it for me, too(mine was just some worthless hot wheel toy :ouch:). If the collectors ahead of me didn't coax them into cracking open the dump bin, I'd have moved on with nothing!

Well, almost nothing. I've been eyeing this one online, never thought I'd find one in person:

First of the M2 Auto-Hauler I ever bought. It had unhinged rear door, but I could see that it wasn't damaged, so I took it home & fixed it. Also had to super-glue the loose dash inside the COE, and pop in the trailer hitch. Crap assembly job, but still good enough to pass the Retro Entertainment red Mini for it. :D

Lastly, my third(and favorite) Toyota Tundra showed up from eBay:

It definitely is not a Daewoo. Its a 2013 Holden VF SV6 Commodore and Ill make sure there is a 1/64 somewhere in the pics to keep everyone happy.

I can't wait to see the pic of the pair. I had to google the car, but it looks fantastic. Good luck shopping for one Ben! 👍

Id love to have a scale model of it but I was just going to put a random car in the pic. I doubt that they will ever make a scale model of the SV6 though.

I am a rare book collector ...I have acquired 1000 matchbox cars in boxes and never played with condition. 1950s // 2000. [removed by moderator]

There are sellers that will buy in bulk, but I doubt they'll give you a "fair" price, as in retail price. I assume most bulk buy people want them at cost, which should be at 50% or lower of the market value.
That was my reaction to it at Walmart........ as I put down the Retro Entertainment car. I don't know if it's just at Walmart, but Retro Entertainment are $5 now. Didn't it used to be $4? Anyway, they don't do it for me at that high of price point. $3.50 would be better, like the Boulevard cars.

That hauler with the Barracuda is insanely cool and the Tundra as well, wow.👍
Thanks! 👍

Ah... bummer!

I'm in the Atlanta Georgia area. anyone interested in them please let me know. I will not give them away but just want a fair price.

One does not sign up on a video game forum to advertise their auction business.

On top of which, your sense of "fair price" from your standpoint probably isn't a likable price from a buyer's. You can link us your eBay page if you hope to strike an interest in us or provide us a list of what it is you've got.

More pics from my collection.

Any idea what year this 67 Camaro was released?

What car is this?

Any idea if the new Iphone will make my pictures clearer?

*Pikes Peak Celica*

Top of this page says you now have to go look for the magenta tampo variation to complete the collection.

Awfully useful site to use.

You need not purchase a new iphone if you want better pictures (I wouldn't expect a dramatic improvement either). What I recommend doing is putting a flashlight over it. In your case, a bright one will be useful. If you got a sheet of regular paper, cut out a shape that will cover the flashlight. This will lower the intensity of the light, and this is useful if the power of the light is so strong it's flooding everything in your photos. You can also bring the flashlight further away to decrease its intensity, but generally, for dinky cameras, you'll need the room to be sufficiently lit, like bright as an office, not bedside-table or mini-desk lamp.

The Iphone does have a flash option. And why did you change my name after your replies? According to the website they have the same pic of my Camaro from the 1996 Camaro 5 pack. BTW I found a Magenta Celica for $8 on Ebay the rest are all purple.

You probably won't understand why yet, but that probably won't help improve picture quality.

It's only a user name to refer to an individual. I like to be silly and in no way am trying to be hurtful.

Goes to show the Magenta has actual value as opposed to the Purple. :)

I didn't even notice the names being quoted. Quite funny...

Some of us wondered about the background on the new brand called the Auto World. I initially suspected Greenlight, but it seems to be on its own, and if anything, the tie is with the Johnny Lightning.

I guess this is kinda rare, forgot to post this when I posted my other cars earlier, its a Custom Camaro but has a missing rear wheel. Southtexas diecast only shows it as a 1968 one.

This is the only light in my room AOS.

PS I don't remember how the camaro lost its wheel.

So some of us found those latest release cars(Datsun 620, Jetsons, black 2000GT, etc.)? Did those cases also contain the new(old) Civic hatchback, which sold for buku bucks on eBay?

I knew I missed out on the Treasure Hunt WRX & Jetson's, but I forgot all about the new Civic, and was just wondering. I do need two of those!
