I guess add that, too. It's bit strange, but in my head, I separate castings seen in the mainline versus ones generally used only in the collectibles or premium line. :odd:

Working on cataloging my collection with photos on a free google site. Taking a while to get it sorted and get photos, but I'll let you guys preview it when I am finished with the Miata page. Wanted something a little more "visual" that I can reference when trying to remember what I have or don't have.

Also, regarding the 7-spoke Miata I just picked up, someone on HWC said he had his up for sale at the last convention for $50 and the 5-spoke version up for $100 and ended up selling them for $100 for the pair. He thinks I did just fine on the purchase. 👍

Found some more cars,

Matchbox Cherokee

Matchbox F250

Matchbox F150

90s Five Alarm? Anyone find out what that blue Dodge is?

That sounds cool. I have too many cars to remember them all, and while photobucket can be a lot of help sometimes, they've been impossibly glitchy lately, I'm going to look at something like that to replace it.

Just because you found more crazy people doesn't make you sane. j/k

:P

I wish I was smart enough to make an app. What this hobby really needs is someone to create an app that keeps track of everything. If only...

I'm haggling again on eBay & TTP. One is a long shot, but if it doesn't go, I save money so it's fine. :P eBay one, I received a counteroffer & I'm gonna have to do it. It is awesome, at least to me.

That is so cool! You say this site is free to use?
sites.google.com

Free website hosting. Not much hosting space, but you can host your images on flickr and just link to them on the site. You can make a good looking site if you know what you are doing. I did this one for GT5 (and later gave up on it, may revive it when the GT6 course maker is made available):

I'm gonna have to play around with that. 👍

On the deals I was working on, half-expectedly shot down on the RLC Silverado(offered $70 + $30 for his Blown Delivery), and did accept $10 counter offer on this beautiful baby on eBay. Didn't really save any money on it, but it's the only one I can find, and the price is lower than fair. 👍

Is there a storage space limit? If it's huge, I can totally see myself switching to that because a "blog" sounds so tacky.

edit: 100mb. May be redundant for me to make a page even though all images are coming from Blogger in the end.

You won't have an issue with space if all your images are hosted off site. All my stuff is kept on Flickr (1TB limit...) so no issues here.

Finishing up the RX-7 page, just need to add the wheel images: https://sites.google.com/site/jhwcsa22/home/mazda/mazda-rx-7

I'm starting to hate my camera. Of course the images look fantastic on the camera preview but once you bring them to the computer they look like crap and need no less than an "auto levels" in Photoshop.

Let me guess another Scion? :P

And on the fantasy cars, the only ones I actively collect are Circle trucker and Mad Manga. Though I do rather like the Fast Fish, Jaded and Scorcher castings.

Looks good. Too bad I haven't figured out how to modify existing templates.

Website should look a bit better now, realized I had some alignment issues this morning when I got to a real computer with a bigger screen than my netbook. :P

Store purchase's. Scored most of this stuff from Target as the pegs there were stacked. Big W had very little and Kmart had even less.

So, today I grabbed the 1996 Treasure Hunt Jaguar XJ220. Loose. Mint. $4.

Amongst other things. But that was the absolute star of the day. Im haaaaaaaaaaapy.

Today:

And here's me being the student of Jason-Kai Dojo:

Both RX-7 and Celicas from Toys R Us. I've been waiting so long for the Celica! I also received couple of Johnny Lightning 260 or 280Z's, but I just opened them, and it pissed me off so bad...... Box is full of packing peanuts(I hate them), I start spilling them into the trash can then bam, cars also dive in. I had no idea what the cars were, or that there were two cars in the box, so I started checking on TTP & eBay trying to figure out the content. I seriously thought about leaving them in there, but upon discovering that it was TWO JL's, I had to dig in & it was gross. :(
Let me guess another Scion? :P
You'd think. No man, it was this car I posted earlier.

Congrats on finding Herbie. 👍 I don't think I've seen the Matchbox Challenger. I like the color, I like the wheels. 👍

So I have ALL these loose cars I found while looking for stuff for a customizing project. Yes, they are in baseball caps. Pretty creative.

And this school bus, which I can't decide on restoring or getting rid of, I posted here because there's no activity in the Customizing Thread ATM. Any thoughts let me know.

Nice find, especially the Mustang F/C, Celicas, and RX-7s! As for the Misadventures in Trashcan Filling story (no offense), don't worry. They were Johnny Lightning castings, so it was totally worth it.

Now I've seen them all.

I spat in the trash earlier, no, my left hand did not miss it. :banghead:
Base codes please!
Is this the three digit code on the base? F43 for no roll cage, F45 for "with".

Which is the rare one? I assume "without" roll cage?

Wait, the one WITH the roll cage is F45? I believe you have them backwards.

With might be worth more in the future, but so far these (just like the E30 M3's) are plentiful in either variation so worth about the same. All releases from now on though will be without roll cage.

I'm sure there's ONE that you've not seen yet.
I can not wait.

Have I told you I hate Photobucket? I attached the photo in the post instead. Thanks for the info on the RX-7. 👍

Wow, that absolutely makes no sense to me. I have an F44 without the cage, and an F40 with the cage. I figured somewhere around F41-F42 they switched to a cageless interior. WTF.

I noticed that @Spacegoat picked up the '73 Falcon XB. I noticed on a variation of mine that it is left-hand drive, so is that the AU version (The casting in general, not the exact one @Spacegoat picked up)?

Have no idea, being an Aussie car I assumed they were all right hand drive. Probably a variation or something.

Nice stuff, I haven't seen the Mustang funny car before. I so need that..👍 And funny you should post the Matchbox R8, actually passed on one of those in favour of the Challenger.

👍
My first diecast of the year is a Tomica M-18 De Tomaso Pantera GTS. Photos coming shortly.

You had me at De Tomaso.👍
