Secured myself a wonderful 7SP '59 Impala. Should I uncard it, @Cano? Or the fluorescent Cobra for that matter?

Also, does anyone know which specific Packard model the Classic Packard is supposed to be?

:0 1st edition 7-spoke? Rare. Leave it in the package. Also, did you get the Cal Custom Cobra carded? :0

Aaaand if my knowledge of Packard doesn't fail, the thing should be a factory-bodied 34.

EDIT: On the 59 Impala subject, my father and I were pretty close to buy a 59 Chevy as a project car some 15 years ago.

There is also a Tomica Limited version of this, painted in red. Although it is much harder to find...
I've taken shot at both.... around the same time I was after Tomica Limited Countach. I couldn't go with the price people were asking.
yabada badoooo:
Looks better than the last version, which I have couple of.

On sale today, few of them are left, and I'm fed up with blind boxes.

Will do. Thanks. The Cal custom is carded too. (Come to think of it: I wouldn't have asked if it wasn't, right? :P)

Thanks for the tip off on the Packard. And boo for not getting the 1:1 Impala. Admittedly, I like looking at a hot wheels Impala a lot more than the 1:1. Reason? The chrome openings above the headlights make it look like eyebrows lol. It's not as noticeable on the 1:64. Same goes for the '63 T-Bird; casting has a slimmer appearance.

Too late. The Countach, the onry one I would've wanted was already bought. Plus the guy ships US onry.

Thanks for the tip-off though. Always appreciated from y'all.

It wasn't that cherry-picking Japanese bastard was it? I'm only human.... I mean he is onry human.

So I got curious and clicked on the link. After seeing the Monte Carlos and Buick Grand Nationals, I wish now more than ever that I could do Paypal. And also online buying. :(

I don't know for the Hakosuka and the Z, but that Maserati is expensive as hell, at 20 USD when I saw it last time.
I don't even know anything about Kyosho yet. I just Googled it and found those cars. I'd be willing to pay that much for the Maserati.

Kyosho? Well, join me in my quest.... :sly:

Seriously, with the variety of models they have in 1:64, the best way to have them is to have a line and focus solely on it. They are generally expensive.

No matters. I think the only thing I'd even like to have at this point is the last two McLaren F1 GTRs. I've taken enough off the collection list that I'm not as crazy about Speed Machines as I was before.

Plus, "I've got 'em all now":

Forget the 911 GT3s, Saleens Vipers and Bugattis. I got these two for crying out loud. Took it off a dude's collection he had no intentions of selling. Yes actually! I asked the eBay seller to sell me more stuff and he pulled all those recent Speed Machines I acquired from his collection. I'm awesome because I didn't need a gun nor a threat nor a black-coloured letter.

I could go high in price if I felt the need. I'm sure it'll be worth the money spent on the cars.

It is worth every penny. Some cars to watch out for:

Red Ferraris
Racing models

As they are uber-expensive, and race car models with liveries need to be handled with care, as liveries can go off easily.

I do post latest Kyosho 1:64 releases and the ones I see in the stores where I buy them. So stay tuned...

Thanks for the tips! 👍 I'll be watching!

@Johnny1996 It'll feel like nothing special if you subconsciously collect for the sake of collecting (like me; after coming to an actualization). When you get one, I suggest keeping it visible around your desk or whatever space you occupy often at home for a certain period of time. Take time to appreciate the amount of detail and crisp edges on the casting. One sitting often times isn't enough (IMO) despite how much we think "we've seen enough".

I could make up the excuse that I an simply just look at the photo I've taken of it again if I ever want to see it. Well, based off my experience, it's not the same. Being able to hold the thing with your very hands and observe the thing in 3 dimensions delivers visual pleasure a pretty photo could never do. That to me is where you can find greater appreciation for high-end castings and truly justify the money you've spent on it.

Right now, I just photograph all my cars and toss it into the totes right after and forget all about it. If I can do that so easily, it'd be rather silly to buy high-end stuff if it's to be never looked at again.

Miatas. Miatas everywhere.
Joking.
As much as I'd love to make fun of it, it is an awesome domination. I respect it.

They are hideous!

Sorry. :P

P.S. That Kyosho IMSA looking Z race car's awesome. 👍

I sold my GT1 on eBay. As far as Speed Machines go, I'm still *casually* after that yellow/black Z06, Bugatti(forgot about that one), maybe a Ferrari or two. Today, I got to cover R35, that British Racing Green Jag & Countach. P.S. What the hell is this about black colored letter?

The best Ferrari they can give you is the 599XX. I'll never find that unpainted version though. I'll have to forge it when motivation comes to fruition.

P.S. "Blackmail"

Actually, I just remembered which one it was: FXX

I do have couple of 599s with one of them being 599XX I got from Jason.

All 3? I've deliberately excluded the zamac 599 :P

The FXX is baller too. Shame they only released one colour though.

Here's what I've been doing to the diecast page on the blog:

I could not have said that better myself. I'm slightly different, as some get tacked up on the wall. I've got a ccouple I'll be sharing in pics in a little bit.

EDIT: Pics!
