$157.75 is unbelievable though.

Did you guys like that? 510? :dopey:

Understandable. If it's used, you could send items marked as gifts and that would technically still be valid. You know the actual retail value of it. Customs can't be that much. It only is on eBay because you listed an item for $500! These are one of those times you don't use Pitney Bowel Movements to do your shipping because they will guarantee duty tax on the buyer. It's more work for you do the paper work at the post office, but you can increase your chances of selling to an international buyer... that's if you ever do.

And yes, I got the 510 bit. Clever one.
👍

Well, Pitney Bowes do charge hefty fee for their service. Having said that, some sellers just hate to ship international due to horror stories associated with it(you know people like that Andy? :P). It's not very practical, I agree, but without it, I wouldn't ship international at all.

Got this today lolrotation.

I've talked to only a handful of sellers who've shared their stories with international transactions. Chicken poops I call them. Why should it stop them? They changed their values to place fear higher than the potential number of international buyers and transactions that won't go wrong. One bad buyer can't possibly represent all (good) buyers. Two bad buyers can't possibly represent all (good) buyers.

Analogy: It's like getting into a car accident once, and NEVER driving again. If you want to give into your fears and trauma, fine. But don't get mad if I can call you chicken poop for closing yourself off.

2 cents on people who give up that easily.

Dang it. It's a car I collect but I really am not liking that colour scheme. One less car!

Helping mine sell, sure. :P
That's what I said! Did you see the listing priced slightly above yours? The wannabe dual auto one?

First of all, you have a dog in the fight.

Secondly, it is true that lot of people just don't understand customs, or duties, not to mention the customs slowing down the shipment, possibly even killing the transaction(happened with my Tomica Scion from Chinese seller on eBay).

Thirdly, your analogy: I'd still drive, because I have to. International shipping, I don't have to. I can also leave it up to the third party(Pitney Bowes/eBay), if they want to pick up the slack.

Weird. If I open it in new tab, it's right side up. :dopey:

Yeah, I just checked what that auction one sold for today, $215. I lowered mine to $250, best offer accepted at $225. There are 8 people watching it, but I bet those are only people just watching to see if it actually sells.

One I was talking about is listed for $278.95. You are undercutting him. 👍 Also, one of the watchers is me. I figured more watchers will solidify the 'coveted' status. My listing also helps me advertise the Garage 25 car set I'm trying to move(loooong shot, I know).
I guess that'll explain it. Sort of.

Edit: $20 in the U.S. for this little car isn't a bad deal. I have one on the way. I can't wait. :embarrassed: It is 1/43 scale though.

I was going to offer $250 for it but my Simpsons Lego House shipped this week and I got invoiced for that so now the money I had for the BRE Datsun has gone to the Simpsons House. If no one buys the BRE off you Jason would you be willing to hold onto to it for me?

Kind of trying to get rid of it ASAP.

Don't worry Jarrod, just for you, I'll give you free shipping if you'd kindly click that "buy it now" button. You may have to sell your car, guitar, your dog, but look what you get for it!
Nice. I kept thinking it was a Datsun BB when I watched the film.
It sure has that Bluebird/2002/Giulia look to it. So awesome. 👍
Ahmed bought one. showed it to me the other day. Pretty damn cool car. I'lll have to hunt one down.
I so wish they'd do the 1/64 scale, too? I'm displaying this 'big' Escort at work. :D
I'll work with you, let me know. No offers so far on eBay.
I thought you'd have couple prospective buyers by now. Well, I guess you have one in Ben.

Took these at the Wal-Mart right by my house yesterday. So empty. Well, except for basic hot wheels. That was full.

Edit: Also adding they had some M2 cars on clearance, as well as an M2 semi-truck.

Well, as mentioned in the photo, the IDx Nismo will be released in June and will cost 2,500 Yen... (24.47 USD)

EDIT: Corrected the price.

Body looks nice. Not the wheels. You bet something's going to be done about it. Probably will get it ridin' nice and low while we're at it.

Don't like the beige version.
It says in that ad that they look similar, yet they are totally different(different car).
Must. Get. IDx Nismo.

When? How much?
Here's the preorder page from AmiAmi. I have couple of Civics on preorder from them, but just look at the awesome TLV line up they have for preorder. It'll cost you international shipping, but they: 1) Offer surface shipping(slow, but affordable) 2) Few bucks off MSRP 3) Accept PayPal

That NISMO concept does nothing for me, certainly not worth the $20 + shipping from amiami, but I do see other cars that may be worth the asking price!

I'm wanting to check out the new M2s & new Hot Wheels at Walmart stores in my area. I may go looking this weekend, but they looked almost that bad last time. :nervous:

They sure look out of place, but I sort of like it, due to that Superfast thing.

You'll give me free shipping on a $600+ item? How very kind of you, Shinji. Thanks but I'll have to respectfully decline.

👍

Super glad that they are going to be TLV, when I first saw that I fully expected them to be released as regular mainline Tomica's.

[green] Yeah. Only thing that bugs me is that it has this cheap generic look to it. If the edges were a bit more tight, I probably would only slam the thing and call it a day. [/green]
