Not usually. I think at this one the only cars people will care about are the '55 Gasser $uper and the stupid Homer car.
First to say I got these? The new cars were from Wall Mart.
I don't care what anyone else thinks, TWO autographs is worth more than ONE. And the fact that John Morton signed a total of 146 cars means that those "1 of 46" are actually 1 of 146. Which means there are less cars with Peter Brock's signature on them, making them more valuable. People are going gaga over a sticker, which is nuts.@Gotbeefboy564 I got beef with you getting the Supra & FR-S before me! That Ferrari Challenge car's money, too. 👍
@Cano & @R1600Turbo Check out this B.S.
First, I see the auto's & I get suspicious. Then I see the pic of the holo sticker with serial #'s & I'm convinced it's phony(though autographs looks totally authentic)........ then I read the description. Also, I think there is a solid chance that HWC version with just Morton autograph may end up going higher in value. I really hate HWC for going out of their way to screw us, but since we know that 1~46 were signed, they are totally official(holo sticker proves it) & they are also first party release. Ours is like a really close(to first party) secondary release.
Just look at this.
I think I'm gonna post mine on eBay with super high price & see if anybody want it bad enough down the line. Lot of times, it's all about the right person at the right time.
Well!?As for the Carabo pic with the redline, I should have deployed the Hot Wheel's doors.
Don't anyone even bother telling me I'm wrong, it's my opinion and I'm not going to debate it.
Well!?
On the flip side though, I think ours are more valuable because they come directly from BRE. But what do I know. While I totally agree with what you're saying, we'de be wrong. The sole fact that Mattel itself released it instead of BRE Racing has more value for Hot Wheels collectors because it comes directly from Mattel.
Of course, I don't like to think of myself as a "Hot Wheels collector". Ew. I collect cars 👍
Stopped by Walmart and found these! Only one GT2 and no Supra...
Was thinking of getting two to have one to open and one to keep carded.Hey. At least you have them.
Lucky for some...Was thinking of getting two to have one to open and one to keep carded.
Maybe it'll be worth $2 instead of $1.I think I'm going to keep my Fangster TH carded.
On the flip side though, I think ours are more valuable because they come directly from BRE. But what do I know.
We all should have bought more. For me as well, absolutely. It sounds bad ass to say "yeah you got yours from the toys, I got mine from BRE Racing". specially over here in Mexico. I'd love to know how many of these came over here, but I'm guessing a really, reeeeally low number. I'd love if it was two
It's still horrible. Is the pic blurry, or am I being blinded by its hideous looks? j/k
You should return it. You now not only have found & bought a treasure hunt, you could become the first member here ever who actually returned a TH for a 98 cents(or how much ever).Just wanted to get it so I can say I have a treasure hunt.
They really did rise in price dude, which is exactly why I decided to shell out the $49 or whatever for mine. Originally, I didn't want to spend anymore than $35-ish, but when some started selling for $70+, I figured if I could buy it low, their value has nowhere to go, but up, so I'm not losing anything by investing $50 into a collectible car(then I open it ).About the BRE, I have a nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to sell it. The only reason I would is because I got a call from Nissan today for an interview, and if I get the job I will need to get my car finished ASAP. I don't mind losing the autographs, what I don't want to do is lose the car for my collection. So I would need to replace it with one that's not so sought after. But those are still $50+.
