First to say I got these? The new cars were from Wall Mart.

Red Panamera

993 :)

Falken Supra

FRS

2000gt

The Ferrari The Ferrari

Extra cars from a local hobby shop

X ray Diablo

F355 Challenge

Any idea when the Fiat 500 and green Huayra are coming?

Not usually. I think at this one the only cars people will care about are the '55 Gasser $uper and the stupid Homer car.

Ah, I'd like a Homer but that car will be available here in one form or another, so I'll only ask for the k-mart only Datsun and M3. Two of each please? I'll Paypall you the funds. Just tell me how much.

I believe the red Panamera is part of the previous case? I've been seeing it sitting around for about a week now. It's been probably a month now since I last checked Toys R Us and I can only bet that they may have the new stuff before Walmart and Target. Again. (Always seems to happen here, especially new stuff appearing on short cards) Suppose I'll be checking tomorrow.

Although...still feeling annoyed with myself for not picking up the Porsche Cayenne when I could have.

@Gotbeefboy564 I got beef with you getting the Supra & FR-S before me! :P That Ferrari Challenge car's money, too. 👍

@Cano & @R1600Turbo Check out this B.S.

First, I see the auto's & I get suspicious. Then I see the pic of the holo sticker with serial #'s & I'm convinced it's phony(though autographs looks totally authentic)........ then I read the description. Also, I think there is a solid chance that HWC version with just Morton autograph may end up going higher in value. I really hate HWC for going out of their way to screw us, but since we know that 1~46 were signed, they are totally official(holo sticker proves it) & they are also first party release. Ours is like a really close(to first party) secondary release.

Just look at this.

I think I'm gonna post mine on eBay with super high price & see if anybody want it bad enough down the line. Lot of times, it's all about the right person at the right time.

With a cordless drill? Are you swapping the wheels?

No use looking for the "dislike" button, there isn't one!

I don't care what anyone else thinks, TWO autographs is worth more than ONE. And the fact that John Morton signed a total of 146 cars means that those "1 of 46" are actually 1 of 146. Which means there are less cars with Peter Brock's signature on them, making them more valuable. People are going gaga over a sticker, which is nuts.

Don't anyone even bother telling me I'm wrong, it's my opinion and I'm not going to debate it.

While I totally agree with what you're saying, we'de be wrong. The sole fact that Mattel itself released it instead of BRE Racing has more value for Hot Wheels collectors because it comes directly from Mattel.

Of course, I don't like to think of myself as a "Hot Wheels collector". Ew. I collect cars 👍

Ack, okay, tonite.

On the flip side though, I think ours are more valuable because they come directly from BRE. But what do I know.

For me as well, absolutely. It sounds bad ass to say "yeah you got yours from the toys, I got mine from BRE Racing". specially over here in Mexico. I'd love to know how many of these came over here, but I'm guessing a really, reeeeally low number. I'd love if it was two :D

Going to check Target today for the flatbed truck that came in the F case. Should I get the RRRoadster? No F case cars at Target but I did get these.

Mystery Machine and Herbie

Batpod and a Fangster treasure hunt.

Unfrigging believable. Toy R Us today on the way home. Looking for that Zombie monster truck, they got none. I move on to the premium cars, no new hot wheels as usual, but they had some Auto World.

They are generally $5.99, but I'm working on putting together a package for Ben, so I pick up the GT-40(I already have the red one). I get the Corvette for myself(because the headlight's beautiful on this one......

It rang up at $6.99 a piece. I may return the Corvette. Not sure yet.

We all should have bought more.

On the Hot Wheels versus BRE, I'm no expert on the subject, but my impression is that, for Hot Wheels collector, original release(Mattel/HWC) is worth more. It is more official. Now if you are into auto racing & auto racing collectibles, if anything, BRE release might be worth more.

Either way, it's worth a lot more than we paid. Sorry to have stirred it up, but it's an interesting discussion to me(because we have it :P).
It's still horrible. Is the pic blurry, or am I being blinded by its hideous looks? j/k

About the BRE, I have a nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to sell it. The only reason I would is because I got a call from Nissan today for an interview, and if I get the job I will need to get my car finished ASAP. I don't mind losing the autographs, what I don't want to do is lose the car for my collection. So I would need to replace it with one that's not so sought after. But those are still $50+. :indiff:

They really did rise in price dude, which is exactly why I decided to shell out the $49 or whatever for mine. Originally, I didn't want to spend anymore than $35-ish, but when some started selling for $70+, I figured if I could buy it low, their value has nowhere to go, but up, so I'm not losing anything by investing $50 into a collectible car(then I open it :P).

How much are you hoping to get out of it? Realistically, if I needed the money in a reasonable amount of time, I'd eBay it for around $300. If it doesn't sell, good chance you'll get the hagglers(take it from a haggler :P). I think they'll pay $250, even in a quick sale situation.
