image.jpg Saved this little one from certain death. I went to Walmart tonight and found her out of her packaging with the blister a couple of shelves down. She looked kinda sad there, all unwanted and stuff. So, I took the car and the remains of blister to Customer Service and they sold it to me for a dollar off. I'm glad that I could claim this neglected one. The color isn't a big deal, it's what the car is...and '68 COPO Camaro!image.jpg

Here she is, home, with her kind, at last.

I might (that's an Alaska-sized "might") go somewhere tomorrow for cars. Plans are still very much uncertain. I'll post what I find, if I go.

EDIT: Brain fart. The correction:

@AOS-: Still a great casting, whether it be called an error car or inaccurate listing. :)

I went looking for a Homer this week and am yet to see one. Anyone sited one in Aus? Did see the ae86 in an initial D style paint job and the 'manga madness' or whatever the boso style car is but didn't buy them. I don't know enough about what's rare and what's not to know what I'm looking for though.

I want it. I have the black one too. I also want the green Pagani, yellow aventador J, grey Sesto elemento and fiat 500.

I knew the Red was out there - it was the Red I was looking for today, since I had not the chance to go out and purchase anything for some time. I suppose they'll flood the pegs soon enough again when the Manager restocks his big sellers. It was a surprise to see the Black - but I was happy to get it, especially since the car is in Gran Turismo. Got to grab all the other colours now.
Also picked up a white Mad Manga, green Bumper Car, teal '69 Chevelle; last year's stuff but some of which I was missing in the various sub-collections I have.

Green Pagani?! Must get. Still don't have the Fiat 500. Which is worrying me. :nervous:

BTW - Great pics! 👍

That Fiat's brand new, Harry. @Andrew R , very few cars are worth anything. Homer is coveted for now, but it's still brand new so it remains to be seen. Check here for the complete line-up. I assume you know what treasure hunts are?

Haha vaguely. I haven't bought a hotwheels car in years, just a tragic Simpsons fan. Was more keeping an eye out for you guys, if I see something of interest I'll just grab it and post it. There is quite a few interesting cars though, might keep an eye out for a few of the Japanese cars.

Probably not going to find a Homer on the pegs, especially since it was only released in one case so far. Gonna have to get one online.

@Andrew R - I agree with Jason on the Homer car. You may get lucky(Dwight & zakyta'll probably find a few lol), but it's a long shot. I have to thank you, because after you mentioned you being the Simpson's fan, I remembered about the line of cars by Johnny Lightning. I tried in the past to get them, but I always got outbid. I finally nabbed a lot of them. :D

I dont really collect Hot Wheels cars but I was wondering if the Tyrell P34 is any good/rare. I have looked on the Hotwheels site and it says 56 where made, mine is in blue and white so if anyone can say thank you :)

If they made just 56 units of one, I've never seen it or have heard of it. I think I have this car in blue, white, also the treasure hunt version which is in white & red. You won't see them in stores anymore(they are probably couple years old), but I doubt they are worth anything.

There is a red and white Tyrrell P34 that is a Treasure Hunt, so that's currently as rare as the car will get. There's also a Flying Customs edition. :)

EDIT: Why oh why did @a6m5 have to erect that tree in the middle of my path, leaving me no time to react? Tree'd.

Better slamming into a tree than slamming into a hammer of a certain kind after letting out a scream of frustration because someone has a bunch of muscle cars to sell.

Thanks was just curious :)

Not to spoil the fun, but if you really wanted to find the TH Tyrell, you can find it easily for a dumb low price on the web. :P

Walmart Exclusive Boulevard 30-Car Set

Was going to wait until I found a seller selling it for less than $15, but I wanted to make the most out of shipping on that Hall of Fame 156.

Yea the treasure hunt Tyrell P34 is from 2012, you will be really lucky to find them on the pegs anymore. I would know because I recently picked up one.
