Proclaiming this primer Fish'd & Chip'd I just acquired is ultra dooper rare. Even the seller wasn't aware of the WSP wheels. Never ever seen on the web and not an entry on SouthTexas.

Checked the bottom... seems legit. :sly:

What did he say?

I found this coolest car today. It was in a box of junk I put away many, many years ago.

Kintoy Mini Cooper

1) I don't know where it came from, let alone I ever owned this thing. 2) I remember bidding & losing this on eBay 2, 3 years ago, soon after I started collecting hot wheels. I had it in my possession all along!

Holy 🤬 That's some nice loot in there. I bet @a6m5 already got drunk with all that money. Geez.
I don't drink!! I have one bottle of Fireball in my apartment, and I've had this one bottle for I don't know how many months! It's still almost full.
That is actually a great price. I would have, too. And also no idea they were mail-ins, I just want the COE dammit.
This whole set's nice. That Chevy pickup was a surprise. Check eBay, I sometimes see a loose one sell on a cheap.
Nice to hear. But it'll be a while before I order anything from there since unavoidable doom for my wallet has come: Wal Mart has started selling M2 here in Mexico. I blew $60 in cars yesterday. $60. There goes the HPI 787B I was eyeing.
That'll do it. You should be very glad to be broke. M2's worth it, but you already know that. :D:tup:

P.S. I got ship confirmation & tracking from Plamoya! This purchase is a huge step for my collection. I've wanted this Tomica for at least 2 years!(you'll see soon enough)

Alright a6, awesome Mini. :D

I had no time to photograph my other Greenlights, so I'm sorry. I am going to try to at least photograph them tomorrow if not doing the whole nine yards of pictures, TinyPic and GTPlanet. I could post them via mobile, but I'm starting to get tired of how laggy the site gets when trying to post more than three pictures. :indiff:

For the rest of you, what are some good and nice '40s through '80s pickups in a recent (this year or last) line from either Hot Wheels or Matchbox?

That's great to hear a6. Can't wait to see what this "mystery" TLV is. Neat Mini by the way. 👍

Thanks Johnny. 👍 I'm starting to get pretty frustrated with you & your Greenlight tease. Please hurry.

j/k :P

As for the pickups........ I know I sort of fancy the Matchbox F-100 I recently picked up...... Some of the '83 or whatever Silverado's really nice. HW Datsun 620 really hit the spot, too. MBX Dodge A100 was OK, though I much prefer the discontinued Johnny Lighting. That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.

I'll give you a hint: We've seen this car a million times(at least I have). I think Wyvern has not only the one I'm getting, but maybe a lineup of them. I also ordered another car I sort of fancy(you WILL be jealous :P), so I really can't wait. :D

Yeah the other day I forgot about one COE thaat went for 13 and change. Bummed.

Don't wait too long. Time to snag one seems to be now. I started seeing them maybe couple of months ago? Once things settle down, I speculate a price hike(of course, it could totally be the other way around, too lol).
Also, let me know how the service of Plamoya is.
So far so good!

See there is the:
Fish%27d+&+Chip%27d+(gray).jpg

10SPs which are the most common.

Fish%27d+&+Chip%27d+(2005+Mainline:3SP).jpg

3SPs being less common. And then there's this I never heard about:

Fellow Canadians, where do you guys all shop for your Hot Wheels online? The shipping prices on Ebay are ridiculous to come to Canada and I'm sure this has been discussed many times but I figured it was worth asking anyways..

eBay. I've shopped from the US enough to know $8 shipping is as low as it will ever get with parcels, flat-rates go for $10.55 (which isn't terrible actually), and Priority mail or Pitney Bowls Global International Shipping for toy cars is idiotic.

This probably isn't much help, but I order off of eBay whenever I order online (I don't very often), and have them sent to my post office box across the border.

and 3 new cars got added to my collection. Hmm, I can't believe that I was still able to find a green Celica, hasn't this one been out for a while?

First Celica...... God, Mattel picked out a great car. Couldn't have picked a better color either. 👍

Picked up Mustang II(credit @Cano for bring this one up to my attention) on my lunch break, rest from Boogytoo on TTP:

@a6m5 does your one just say made in china on the base and is it a pullback?
That be the same one! 👍
Okay. Is this one a TLV too or something else?
See if you can guess that one, psychic boy.... Hint: It is TLV, it is German(cost fraction of the other).
Which makes me want Hot Wheels to do a Caterham even more. I like the one from MB, but that's just not enough for me.
I don't know...... Matchbox was pretty money on that casting. 👍

I love the vette and the Firebird. The Mustang has a bit more of a British car look to it with the color scheme, but I like it too. The Camaro isn't too bad and the 300C is sweet. The Mustang I already have, but its not old enough for me in terms of the year of the car. :)

I need some more MB Caterhams. My white one isn't enough. I love those things. :D

I like the red one the most. Speaking of...

2008 Team: Rat Rods - Rat-ified. It's going to be cut apart for modding.

@a6m5 that Greenlight Firebird is pretty cool. 👍

Still have yet to find that 500 I'll try and look for it after class tomorrow, still haven't found a Homer too.

I found lots of Homers at my Walmart, but I haven't bought any. When my stores are stocked, they are stoked very well, and a lot of the good cars stay there for long periods of time. Not many collectors in my area I guess. If I left that Fiat I bought, it would probably still be there. But I still never find $uper Treasure Hunts, and I only find a lot of regulars. :grumpy:

@mustang fanatic I'm a fan of that generation Firebird, too........ Maybe more like all of them late-60's & up. :D

@Johnny1996 300C is my favorite with its vintage racing goodness. 👍 P.S. White Caterham is my favorite!

@AOS- Can't take anything away from the red racing scheme. I still think green has epic awesome stock look to it, but I'm not gonna lie, I like the red just as much. :D

@Gotbeefboy564 Forget the lame Treasure Hunt cars, "Homer" took over that rank!

Found the 24/Seven color changer after work ($4!) and bought another 3pk for the Thailand made Infiniti G37 which has tinted windows instead of clear and a slightly different paint shade.
