So I sent out a small box to a guy in Maryland on Tuesday night, trading him the PR5 Impreza WRX I had as I decided not to collect that car and he was the one that sent me the J5 Scion FR-S. He got it today. I sent it out First Class mail, which is typically the slowest method. What's that, less than 2 days shipping time?

@AOS- unless it's waiting for me when I get home, I still don't have your package.

From yesterday:

Johnny Lightning Scuba Rescue Hummer(also says "Fire Rescue", I don't get it)

I destroyed 4 of these two days ago for their tires

Also, awesome Tomicas, dude.
Thanks, and I got that Indy Car for that very reason. I bought the first one on clearance(I think $2), but this used one was a $1(multi purchase). Now I have two small & two large wheel sets. :D
Store stuff from the other day. Was going to post these last night but for some reason I was signed out of Flickr and couldn't for the life of me remember what my Yahoo ID was.
After Photobucket died on me, I went to Flickr & I did the same exact thing. It can't be both of us, I put that on Flickr/Yahoo. :P
Dat Custom Beetle and those TLV's! (especially the Corolla)👍 You really are very irritating, you know that right? J/k
But J-Money, I haven't even received or posted the surprise Porsche yet!!!! :P You actually found "Homer" in the wild!? Three Boulevards are PERFECT, by the way. 👍👍
Haha that corolla is amazing! Do you know if they do the slant front too?
I'm not sure which "slant front" one you are referring to. I like this Corolla a lot, too. Tomica Limited Vintage have a knack for turning boring, mundane everyday JDM cars into interesting little minicars. Their execution in achieving the high level of realism helps!

They do that once in awhile. I've seen them do it(first class mail) on something I mailed to NY. I think it was mailed Friday & they got it Monday or something like that. I may had one do a overnight before, too. Package make all the right connections or something....

Hummer isn't too bad at all. :)
I have three other JL Hummers, all different bodystyles. I had to have this one for the raised roof. It is so cool. I'm eyeing another Hummer Rallye on eBay. It's red, you guys back off. :D

I don't even have an account, I was just messing around with @a6m5 (:P).

To those that do buy off eBay: I hope no one had their account hacked, and if they did, I'm sorry to hear that.

Got this from my grandmas house after I took her trash out

Johnny was referring to that eBay account hack. I read that it supposedly took place in February or March?(I could be wrong, it was discovered just this month).

I haven't changed my password, because I changed my password in April when that somewhat internet-wide hack was discovered, Government recommended everybody change passwords.

You explained that better than I ever could.

Just saw the backorder dates on Hot Wheels Club forums. Holy schnikes! The membership car ordered in January will ship in October! The Gulf Drag Bus will ship in August, which must be about a year after it was ordered.

I would be so mad if I ordered one of those. That's unbelievable.

I thought I explained horribly, but thanks. :D
Nope. News always tries to make a bunch of commotion over nothing.
You gonna die of SARS while eating a mad cow burger in a GM car with faulty ignition. I have no idea how you survived Y2K! Just stay clear of Korean Ferries & do not run in Boston Marathon, you'll be OK.

I had a scare over that Drag Bus. First, the debit card I had on file with Mattel was force cancelled due to that Target identity/financial data theft. I explained the situation to Mattel, they cancelled my original order, opened new one for me. Then just week or two ago, while checking the backorder release date(now you say is August lol), order had disappeared! I asked for their help via email this time, and they were able to reinstate it. I'm not gonna lie, I was little nervous.

Yeah, I mean I wouldn't have a problem if they stated up front it would be 10-12 months, not extending the backorder date every month or so. And never explaining why. If they sat down and said "here's what is going on" maybe it would make sense to us.

Oh yeah that happened to me too. Apparently orders older than 6 months drop off your recent orders. Which probably wasn't that much of an issue before, except now it's like every single order.

I just checked the Gulf Drag Bus, and it still says June, but who cares.

I was into collectible(RLC, etc.) Hot Wheels for sometime, but my focus has shifted completely towards Tomica Limited Vintage. I just placed a backorder on the Shell Gas Station. Wish me luck. :nervous:

Damn, I saw a few of these. Was hesitating to get one... maybe I should lol

You give me any mainline, and I'll convince you to buy it. :P

You've sent via Priority. That's one class higher than what I shipped by. Expect it in another week.

About that thing about eBay being hacked. The suggestion to "change your password" is just the words of an overly-paranoid individual. Even if someone hacked your account, the furthest they can likely do is buy a ton of listings/win auctions with high bids, and revise your listings to 1 cent/free shipping. Since they don't have your Paypal account info, they can't use your account to pay for anything nor can they take advantage of winning your auctions since that can't physically make you ship your items. It'll be a headache to fix anything they mess up, but nothing permanent should happen. They also wouldn't be able to use your account and switch the shipping address since it has to match what they have on record at Paypal. Having an external party (i.e. Paypal) makes shopping online pretty safe overall I'd say. If someone hacked Paypal on the other hand, then we should be changing our passwords.
