I'm about ready to hop out to every Walmart within 50 miles of me just to try and find some HTFs and VHTFs. Its really boring at my house, and its 1:35 am local time.
Sounds like fun! Best of luck bud. I hope you find some neat cars to share with us in here. đź‘Ť
LMAO.

I'll just show you guys: RLC Hall of Flame $13(shipped) for car that generally goes for $40~$50+ on a card. What made me nervous is not just the price, but it says see pics for condition. They are small pics! :guilty:
So I another invoice back and it's the same. Apparently SAL registered is unavailable "for my country", something to do with postage regulations. So I've had to go for the Air small packet option, which is obviously more expensive but means I'll get it quicker.
I'm sorry to hear that, bro. I always go for the cheapest option(with, or without tracking), because they'll be here in two weeks anyway. At least the cars are unbelievably cheap on AmiAmi. Cars I've been adding to my order, they are like 50% off the cheapest price resellers have on eBay!

Ah, it's not too bad. Works out around the same as the Kyosho NSX I got from Daboxtoys. And as you said, still cheaper than it would be if I were looking at buying it from eBay. :D

Hot Wheels Lamborghini Veneno:

I have yet to buy a Kyosho 1:64 model of it, though...

Bought these the other day:

Then, at a store (not a hobby or collectors store) that didn't exist in 1995 or 1999 (left and right respectively) I found these!!

Seriously what were they doing there? Either way I kept saying hooly dooly out of excitement.

Sure they're not rare, but to find a 1995 and a 1999 mainline in pack in a normal store (that's only been around 5 years) in 2014 is most peculiar.

That is really cool. đź‘Ť Jason thinks people return their old hot wheels to stores, but I wish I knew for sure. I'd love to get rid of my old mainlines for $1, so while that theory make total sense, I'm just amused by it!

I hunted for about a year, so I did run into a handful of old ones. Only notable find was the black Bluebird. Like Bugatti, it goes for $TH money! :D
Well, here we go again. More stupid BS showing that I'd be better off abandoning all my hobbies.
I thought something bad took place, but I think you are talking about wheel variation. :D

Find any cool cars last night?

Here's the thing. I haven't gotten out to Walmart yet, and I don't think I will. :(

Aw well. With any luck its a blessing in disguise, even though I don't want it to be. :indiff:

This store has only existed (this one in particular) since about 2006...

It's most peculiar haha
That is the craziest part for sure. Cars I found was at Walmart. I suspicion employee stashing cars somewhere, then it got left there for couple of years before it was discovered & put back to stock.

I also found Focus Funny Car(separate pic) that night. I just looked it up & black Bluebird's from 2009, white from 2010. I found them in 2012. Javelin's nice, too. :D

Reason I stopped hunting; With all the gas & time spent, at least in my area, payoff was pretty minimal. Sure, got some hard to find Boulevards, etc., but I had one Super Treasure Hunt to show for it. It's cheaper for me to just pay the premium & shipping.

Would laugh if it was all crappy modern fantasy cars in the box
There is no "crappy" fantasy cars when they are that old. $$$!!!
Talk about a time capsule. That's incredible.

P.S. @RCKakashi14's avatar's so fitting...... :D:tup:

Edit: I just noticed that VW in the pics of old cars I found was from 2007?(again, found in 2012). I just checked the Focus Funny car, and that one's from 2001!

Oldest I ever found in store was a '99 Mustang(maybe found in 2011-ish).

Borrowed pic. Mine's on a really beatup card.

I was on eBay earlier looking for BS listings to laugh at, but I must say, that Redline box is equal parts wondrous and awesome.

@a6m5: I usually always find something good, HW or not. That's what kills me.

I'm convinced it's because of people like you I couldn't find squat. j/k :D
Well if you think about it, one collector goes into a store, finds the only good car. After that first collector leaves the pegs, a second collector walks up to them, but finds nothing. Collector one unintentionally screws collector two. That's the way I see it, but we've all been on both sides, just sometimes one side longer than the other.

So I'm about to go to a dollar store, but still not Walmart. :indiff:

I'll report back with what I find. ;)

EDIT: Found nothing. :(
