If they had been smart enough to make like a Commemorative Edition Lotus Exige, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Mercedes SL55 or Toyota Land Cruiser, that statement just might've been true.*

I say "might" because if it was, I probably would've had 'em by now anyway. :P


*Seriously, they should've skipped on the Blaze Blitzer. It wasn't even an old casting. In fact it was brand freakin' new to the Matchbox line of the same year the "Commemorative Edition" came out.

That would be an apartment. They probably tried to call me but I have a new number too. I can call them tomorrow, but if they won't send it to me then it'll be stuck there for a couple weeks as I can't get to Phoenix for a while.

One day, I saw it on eBay. $4 + $4 shipping from Portugal. Thank god that seller had no popularity. It was the only one I saw at the time.

Normally I don't go searching for these things but every now and then I somehow am reminded of Majorette's rally cars so I go looking that up and found that as well as other Majorettes that haven't arrived yet. It was then when I started looking up CM's again, and being reminded of the gotdamn quality of those things, I started searching up Kyoshos. Compulsive purchase after compulsive purchase, 5 boxes arrive at my doorstep a week later. I've got more coming too. Sigh.

BTW, you'll need to hit up the European side of eBay if you want a better chance at Majorettes.

If I ever go looking for more Majorette Fiestas, but that's unlikely. I skipped a dark blue one with white dual racing stripes, but I did win the blue/white Castrol-EDGE Ford EcoBoost one. I've also got the exact same one by Norev. You might be able to find that one more easily.

Majorettes are a tad bigger than Hot Wheels. Your M2 Ground Pounders are bigger than it if that helps. They still fit in those small plastic cases I got for my Hot Wheels.And they're nowhere as big as Sikus which claim to be 1/60 IIRC.




Also, because I went searching for that car for you, I ended up buying two more Majorettes just now. Thanks. :grumpy::indiff:

They had measurement in that $10 listing. Just a tad too big. I might change my mind though, it is super-fine.

Should anyway. If it doesn't, blame the seller, give him negative feedback for incorrect measurements and use eBay Protection Program to get your money back. While you're at it, sue Walmart for not making the organizers big enough to fit your toy cars. Just note I hold no stakes in all this. "Please file complaints responsibly."

Someone also asked about single sided ones so they could hang them on their wall, I guess you can get them straight from the manufacture, if anyone is interested. Works out to something like $7 each.
 
Hang them on the wall, like to display? I wouldn't recommend these for display. Door/lid is, for the lack of better term... cloudy? Also, walls inside can look warped, too.
 
I assume they would display them without the lid. Get enough of them together it could make a nice display, but they would be open to dust.

This is probably one of the rarest redlines I have, since it's from 1973, which was a really rare year for redlines. Unfortunately though, it's missing a rear wheel, and the wheels in the front aren't in the best shape. :indiff: So, I'll have to find an original wheel for the back, fix the chrome on the front wheels, and attempt to straighten the axle, all without taking the car apart. Other than that, it's in pretty nice condition.

I know pink redlines are pretty rare, so this one is pretty special. And the best part is, I got it for free. :dopey:
