I'm just messing around. I do like Kyosho. It's just that I have too many other cars ahead of them on my list.

It's a long list.

At some point in the last 2 weeks, my list of cars to find decreased dramatically. Hopefully it continues to drop until I've hit bare minimum where castings with a "I kinda/sorta want" status change to a "You know what? Nah, I'll pass". That would leave me with priority statuses like "yup of course" and "omg yes/win that auction".


Been working on that since last summer. I'm doing another round of clearing out castings/blacklisting/selling. After all the top-quality casting purchases in the last week, I would actually consider keeping specific recoloured castings that are pretty and selling off the rest rather than deciding between keeping all or none.

I'm still unsure if I'm successfully rehabbing my own collecting addiction or if I'm just prolonging it while using this as an excuse.

Surprisingly, demand for the 935 was fairly low.

That's because it didn't have a real livery, and the one it had frankly wasn't great at all. I want that on the mainline so I can turn it into a proper Moby Ding-dong.

Was waiting for you to give the go-ahead. You want the blue one or the green one? This eBay store has both of those colors plus the Red one that I want. Looks like the Green one is a standard premium without the clear case. Not sure if the clear case is the only difference.

Blarg. I prefer the plain green or plain blue ones but they don't come with the acrylic case, and the blue one with the case has the white stripes which I frankly don't like. Grrrr which one which one... Eh, add me the all-blue one without case, please.

In other news, my local Fry's (Kroger) got their 4th of July cars in finally. The entire set consists of 6 cars. The shipper only had 5 of the 6 cars in it. I only wanted 1 of the 6 cars. Guess which car was missing.

Three cars, three stories(well, two stories).

1) I got this car for $13. I've been interested in them, and they generally go for $40, $50 carded, so I took it. Listing says to look at (the tiny) pics for the condition of the car. Let this be a lesson:

It is official. I am no better than some workers at Walmart, Fred Meyer, etc. I order four of these Focuses, never expecting a chase. I'm checking the shipments in, and even before they were in the system, this one was on my desk. Low life!

P.S. My Tomica Limited Vintage gas station sold this evening as well, and of course, I have secured the replacement yesterday. I can't wait to get the Shell gas station!

I was originally going to settle on the Aoshima 1:64 RE Amemiya RX-8, but it was sold as soon as I arrived the store. Then I got torn to choose between 2 Kyoshos - a blue Ferrari 250 LM and that orange VW W12 Nardo. I'm glad I chose the latter, since I think everyone is chasing after it.
