I received bunch of cars from last week in the mail, but no time today. I did get these at Toys R Us on the way home:



Another story:

I walk by the hot wheels aisle, two other people going thru cars. I pick up the Ice Cream Truck for myself(imma fan), Teal Civic for my nephew. He really liked the red one.

I move on over to the premium car section(Greenlight, M2, etc.). No Auto World, but lot of new Greenlight cars & these couple of weathered M2s. I'm sort of over GL's right now, but really liked these M2's, looks like they are straight out of a junkyard.



I like this Road Runner, but I put it back, check out other toys(huge clearance sale)....... I didn't feel like walking out of the store with zero premium cars, so I got back. One of those two guys from earlier is hovering right where I want to be, I'm thinking "get the hell out of my way, guy", but surely enough, he picks out the Road Runner, mumbling "this is really cool". I thought about pulling a Cano on the man, but he was bigger than me, so with a sad frown, I pick up the other one.



I go to the price scanner with this thing, and it rings up at $2.48 >>> $1.24 with additional discount.



Those things are supposed to be $6. Out of desperation, I go back there again, and that same guy still have the car in his hand, but he's still looking around. I go look at something else again(I have lot of time on my hands), walk back & I see him rushing toward the cashier with a 1/24 diecast in his hands. Now, I rush back to the pegs & voila, Road Runner back on the peg!

That's it. I pretty much steal this thing from TRU, the End.

I stand by my statement. No disrespect, maybe it's my "JDM" DNA. I do like the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, and I did go out of my way to buy that one. I also like Tomica playsets WAY better than anybody else's. They are amazing. 👍

P.S. My order shipped on the 28th, but it hasn't even arrived in the country yet. Last time I had gas station set shipped, it went to Hawaii. It better not happen again. It better. Not.

Really. That Road runner is seriously ballin'. 👍👍👍 It's funny how collectors usually avoid contact with each other. When it comes to sharing on the web, we're all open about it, but at stores, it's a silent competition for the goodies.


And I'd only start worrying if we all swapped to the exact same avatar. That's when things really get confusing!

Anyway...

I'm not adding these to the collection. They're set on being customs, but you know me; materialistic me likes photographing my stuff.

These would actually make a wicked base for Trailblazer cars... and that's exactly what I've got in mind.

What's also nice about it is that:

Parts glow. I'm sure almost none of you would buy the Time Tracker to see this yourself, so I thought it'd be nice to show you how bright it can glow when you blast it with a 27-LED torch for about 5 seconds, with the camera set to 2.5s ISO 3200.

Funny thing is, I usually say something. Today, after scanning that M2 for $1.24, I wanted to tell the guy........ I'm glad I didn't. Generally, you are right though. After I say something to collectors(or scalpers), they generally open up, but I'm almost always the one to start these conversations.

@R1600Turbo Jason, do you want me to follow thru with this? I'll gladly pay, but I'm not convinced you want to sell this so cheap. If you want to cancel transaction, let me know.

You're good, looks like it ended when I was in the shower. I just want these extra cars gone, no space to store them and they are in the way. Sick of them being around. Only way to do that is sell them cheap. Besides, a few of the auctions sold for $$$ so it makes up for it.

Yeah the 4 Chevy Pickup's went for over $15, the 3 '66 Nova's went for nearly that, $5 here, $10 there, sold my extra Hot Ones Long Gone's, etc, etc. Will probably make over $60 when all is said and done.

Got a couple of Mad Propz last week - had to go shopping with my son for his 14th B'day present - so I ended up browsing the Hot Wheels aisles - here's one of them, as well as some of the new cars (new to my collection that is) that I picked up:

I needed a second F1 (hence that purchase) and I bought two Bones since I liked the Team HW package and wanted to keep one in the package.

P.S. Where is my share of the boobies?

I wanted that one for a custom, but it turns out the window is blue and not chrome. I can give you this one when the box gets back. Can you fund me so that I can go buy another plane? The 2013 mainline with the chrome window is perfect, but I don't see them in stores anymore so it's gotta be online. And you know how online prices are...
