I need one of those to get ahold of those aaaaaaaaawesome tiny front wheels.

(Foreword: I honestly do not remember if I shared these yet. Do not kill or plan to kill me if I happen to have done so.)

Beep beep. Got the rest of the 206s comin' thru.

And just to compare the brands, here's one paired up with a Majorette (click pic/full size):

Not much to say from my end. What about you?
CMS rally are awesome!

Not many of those out there, Harry.

Why do you say that? And why don't I like you even more now? :irked:
Or should that be 'even less?' Pardon my Japanese.

I really like that car. Just tell me there's plenty of them around and no one is interested in them.

Well my dad got another week off for once this year and I got to visit the Collectors Antique Mall again! :dopey: Got me two more minty beauties, an old red line and another restoration project! :D

Here they are!

A police car and some red looking vehicle, both have removable bodies and are in mint condition. I have been collecting Hot Wheels for over a decade and I don't think I have ever seen or heard of these vehicles before, ever. Not sure what there names are. :indiff:
image.jpg image.jpg

Not sure I have seen or heard of this one ether. It looks "familiar" but I could be wrong. Don't know the name of this one ether. :banghead: I Simply couldn't resist it though. :D
image.jpg

Finally caved in and got this Roll Royce Silver Shadow since I have had my heart set on it for quite some time. If I can find some spare parts for it, I may attempt to restore it.
image.jpg

And last but not least, this old beat up Twin Mill. Like an unholy zamac, most, if not all of the paint is gone leaving only the tampos and the muffler is broke on one side, not to mention it has some mold in a few places. :scared: Yes I know it's a piece of junk, which is why I got it. I can never resist buying a beat up Hot Wheel, it gives me a perfect opportunity to restore them and I look forward to breathing some life back into this thing. :)

Can somebody please help me identify those first three please?

I have some interesting findings I will post later that I think you guys may like. ;)

So, I have a custom car I'm in the process of making (I know, wrong forum), but I wanted to know if I could use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process of the paint. I need it to be dry soon, as it is a gift. And the paint I used takes a long time to dry. Any ideas?

I suppose you could, I would just try and be even with the heat and don't get too close .

@Sonygamer455 that truck is awesome. 👍 I have one that's a lot more beat up than that. As for the name, I think it's called 56 Hi-tail Hauler. ;) The first two I'm not sure about.
Thank you mustang fanatic and thanks for telling me the name! :)👍 I can honestly say I am not familiar with that casting, I don't ever remember reading about it.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE YOU LUCKY SOB. Damn you SCORED. Let's go.

These are the score. Forget the redlines. These are two of three cars that came in the late-80s "Body Swappers" playset. You're missing a yellow pick up. These could trade their bodies and frames for severall different car combos. They are extremely rare, so whatever you pad for them, they are worth every. damn. single. penny. And I'll say it out loud now, if you ever want to get rid of them, think of your ole' friend Cano first. Serious.

Dude I can't believe you haave never heard of this car, it's one of the most prolific Hot wheels castings! Lucky SOD again, as you grabbed the hardest of the blue colors this thing came in. Minty, too. I think not even mine's in such a good condition.

Finally caved in and got this Roll Royce Silver Shadow since I have had my heart set on it for quite some time. If I can find some spare parts for it, I may attempt to restore it.

Don't restore it, it's nice enough to let it be.

The paint isn't gone, it's just gone dull. You grabbed the chrome version of the Twin Mill:

It's actually in good shape to be restored, and here's why: score around the super markets for the green version that's everywhere right now and get it some new engines 👍

Great post dude, been some time since anyone posted old stuff 👍

I know this isn't the customizing forum, but I thought I would show everyone 1 of 5 Tomicas I found at a flea market today then customized. Of the 5, 3 were Hyundai Sonatas, 1 Mazda CX-5, and a Mercedes SLS AMG.

That's the only one I was aware of, also. They still sell them on HWC/RLC shop online, so I had seen it there before.
Isn't that the car that was all over Walmart couple of months ago?

Long post warning! Bare with me! :scared:

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE YOU LUCKY SOB. Damn you SCORED. Let's go.
I was just dying to hear your response to this after I posted these! :D

I had a very strong feeling they were rare since they are ones I didn't even recognize and I had never seen them before anywhere, not even on the internet. I wonder what there value is.

I am definitely glad I didn't leave the sports car because I almost did. I didn't see the yellow pickup there otherwise I probably would have gotten it without a single doubt in my mind. Man I want it so badly!

And I'll say it out loud now, if you ever want to get rid of them, think of your ole' friend Cano first. Serious.
Sorry but I don't plan on EVER getting rid of them. :sly: ;) Like I told photonrider earlier, I get way too attached to every Hot Wheel I buy and I have a lot more of an attachment for these than most vehicles I usually buy.

Yea I will admit, I feel pretty dumb for not knowing this one well, guess it's because I never looked at the old Flying Colors series much. I may have seen this once before on the internet or in a field guide and then just forgot about it somehow. That's odd for me because I NEVER forget about a Hot Wheel.

Don't restore it, it's nice enough to let it be.
Well the most I planned on doing was giving it a new windshield and wheels just like what it already come with, granted that I ever find them that is. The paint is staying the same, gives it some dignity in my opinion. ;)

Yea after I posted it, I began to wonder if that was the case, however mine has redlines on it. ;)

Ether way, this thing is so old and worn down, I won't even need paint stripper to get the rest of the paint off. A carbon steel brush could easily wipe away the remainder of the paint as well as the oxidation and mold that has gathered on it.

It's actually in good shape to be restored, and here's why: score around the super markets for the green version that's everywhere right now and get it some new engines 👍
My thoughts exactly! ;)👍 Since they just recently released a new Twin Mill with chrome engines, that can be a good, cheap donor, not to mention my first ever engine donor.

Great post dude, been some time since anyone posted old stuff 👍
Thanks Cano! :) The Collectors Antique Mall is full of rare stuff, more than I can even remember all at once too. I may try to see if my dad can take me again tomorrow while he is still off.

By the way, I know you are wanting to know the price I paid for these so here it is. I got the Rolls Royce for $8 and all the other ones were $2 each!
Here's the receipt

Just to make a long post even longer, here are some of my findings from the Collectors Antique Mall just today.

Had Jack open the glass case again because there was a box with some vehicles in it I wanted to look at and he mentioned there was a extremely rare casting in there. Turns out it was this old, beat up yellow Mercedes Benz 280SL lacking only the hood:
image.jpg
Unfortunitly, the box was $30 and I couldn't buy the Benz separately. :banghead:

And then there is this.

Cano Remind me again about what you said earlier about the redline Corvette.
