I kid, in case you didn't catch the emote. Welcome to this forum. We like old Japatanese cars and rust-buckey muscles cars, and we hope you do too (eventually). We also like supercars and other modern future crazy cool scalpable trade-bait cars....some of us anyway. Insert "other obligatory yada yada filler welcoming words" here. Enjoy your stay, post pics of your collection and new grabs, but try to keep them smaller than 1000px because we all have slow cellular phones. Also, don't double post if you can help it.

Well, it's finally time to reveal a TINY amount of my collection (I have about 5000+ cars in my collection)...

Here it is!

And here's the closeup of the lead car, the Porsche 911 Race Car that I tried to use the decal station on. Didn't go to plan...

Finally got back on it. I've condensed several makes into one group for a massive scroll saver!

Boy, the car is great, but disappointed with this seller. Again. Car is perfect, but the box is defaced with some gooey residue. Second purchase from daboxtoys. Both prompt delivery, but collector's items arriving with scarred packaging is a huge bummer.... both times. 👎

Thankful the actual car is in perfect shape!

I was at a dilemma whether to drop $25 on that black TLV Toyota Crown with chrome trim. It looked so much classier than the orange Bellet (imo), but someone already bought it, along with the $13 Kyosho 22b Impreza.

That one is a looker. 👍 I wish I could do a little modification on these cars. Do you remember the blue TLV Civic we found on eBay awhile back? It was slammed low.... and super sexy!

I was at a dilemma whether to drop $25 on that black TLV Toyota Crown with chrome trim. It looked so much classier than the orange Bellet (imo), but someone already bought it, along with the $13 Kyosho 22b Impreza.

I like the Bellett, obviously, but I rarely see a TLV that I wouldn't want to buy. Probably have lot to do with my heritage, also the fact that I especially prefer cars from the 60's to the 80's, which puts pretty much the entire TLV/TLV-Neo lineup in the sweet spot. Simply put: I like 'em all!

Edit: It's really quite pathetic, find myself checking AmiAmi every second day or so. Impatiently waiting for the Toyota Townace's to appear.

Well, they do such a god darn good job of updating the latest releases & preorders! I either click on saved "favorites", or just start typing in "ami...", it takes me to their 'latest' car model page & I pretty much check that page daily now.

Good question. I'd wager not too smoothly. The car's from a eBay auction & I want to say it went for something like $60 or higher. Crazy thing is, given a chance to own this for $60 today, I'd jump on it. In a plain-jane stock form, this car would probably still fetch upward of $40.

Edit: I found it. It went for $48.50(including shipping). It seemed like a lot of money for a hot wheel at the time. I really need to walk away from this disease.

Woah, that is insane! If that was a Ferrari F40, then I would be all over it! I actually bid $24.50 for it, but it wasn't enough.

I wonder how much the original Sweet 16 (the first 16 cars) cost now...

I'd like that burnt orange one if it didn't have that goofy decal. I had one- I boasted about being the first to find one here, but now it's in a bin waiting to be modded. Same goes for the yellow one with the same decal. I've got every other Reventon there is. Is that all you have?

I have the gold Reventon (shown in the last picture I posted), and the grey Roaster and the black coupe. All of them are waiting to be modded though with tons of pinstriping...

2002 Pony Wars I two-car Set.

This was the first casting of its kind released. Apparently, it was having an identity crisis. This release was labeled as a Charger, but every future release after that was called a Challenger. (shrugs)

You have to put in the effort dude! Hit ALL the stores. Actually I only stopped at this store to see if they got their 4th of July cars in yet (I need the 350Z) and saw two new shippers that were trashed. Either they arrived that way or someone already went through them and missed it. I still look through trashed shippers because most scalpers & collectors have only one thing on their mind and it's 99% of the time not errors or variations.
