Left it behind, didn't want to spend the $10 and be stuck with 8 cars I don't want/need.

Discipline, discipline......
The Defender (surprisingly) and Exige are 2006 castings. The SL55 is 2005. Not '90s old, but still 9 years.
Plenty old. How the time flies!
DaBoxToys will be carrying Majorettes soon.
After my experience with the shop, I am on the fence. They couldn't screw me for the third time, could they? Hmmm......

Even though time flies, I've always considered '01-'10 new. '00 is the boundary between old and new for me for some odd reason.

edit: woops, forgot to post this (ha-ha):

@a6m5: in response to your MBX Volvo comment:

I didn't post this yet, right? I think I might have Occasional Amnesia.

edit: Yes it's another CM's. 2008 Argentine Citroen C4 WRC.

Which is why I rarely buy multi-packs of Hot Wheels/Matchbox. Anyway, I have no new purchases to report as I'm saving money for a potential move to Palm Coast, Florida. *cue X-Files music :P * If I do post, it'll be only 1 or 2 cars unless there's an epic sale which is unlikely in this collector's wasteland.

That's 2011? I've looked for them on eBay before(after seeing yours the first time), but I had no idea they were so new. I do have the Lesney release. One of those weird, random finds at Walmart(probably good couple of years or so after they were discontinued).
Nice picture a6. 👍 And once again, those wheels.
I like them, too(both the pic & the wheels). Thanks J-Man. :D:tup:

Hey look what I found! I think it was still on the shelf at a Walmart in Tucson because it wasn't assembled correctly so it looked broken and nobody wanted it. All I had to do was take it out, pull out the screw holding it together, insert the rear of the base correctly and reassemble. :)

Also found a couple BTTF Toyota Pickups (only bought one - for my Dad) as I have one coming from Andy.

@R1600Turbo This can happen with the M2s. You guys know I love M2 Machines, but they either have quality control issues, or really crappy carriers. My last M2, Studebaker truck had busted off(& missing) taillamp, I recognized it as soon as I took it out of the packaging. :(

Love the car, by the way. 👍

Nearly bought that Volvo... figured that I cant buy everything hence given up. Lolx.

this collecting hobby is really sucking into my wallet... man I need to slow down... over here in Singapore Hotwheels aint cheap cost around $3.12 usd per car for mainline! Thanks to the import tax I think.

M2 and Greenlight are hit or miss on a lot of their cars, especially Greenlight. Not a fan of 90% of their castings, but that Daytona I got after seeing yours is an exception. Same goes with M2. When I spend the $5-6 on these cars, I inspect them closely for imperfections and pass on them if something is not right.

Right now the Great Singapore Sale (GSS) is still going on, we have about a month more. This is actually the best time to get a couple of cars at a lower price. :D

I'm back and I've seen some epic cars from you guys. :)

I went to Kmart earlier in hopes of finding an Ethernet cable, but I looked at the pegs before looking at the cables. Not a dang thing on both sides. Luckily I think tomorrow I'll be going to a different Kmart and afterward somewhere to get a new 1:24 car, so maybe I'll find something then. If not then oh well. :indiff:

so, here is my Poka update

Woo, another person with a Porsche 911 Race Car! Looks like I have some competition when it's going to come to customizing....

Shame that they don't fit onto the 20 car transporter that I own...

That looks droolable. pics.

Also, I kinda scored.

These things aren't easy to grab, specially the 935. Mine cost me $5 alone, yet I grabbed these three for less than a buck and less than $3 for shipping. The 935 and Jeep are hard-to-find Corgi castings, and the Lumina stocker is out of a playset or something, difficult to find alone. For the price I think I did REAL well.

@Clocktower - I like ALL THREE! 👍👍👍 I like the @Cano 's Porsche, too. I've swung & missed that car more than once.

@AOS- Post it already, damn it!@#$@#% Please?

When you don't shop online: Con - You can't find tenth of what interests you. Pro - WAY more money stays in your pocket.

Who makes the Stevenson Camaro? That is cool.
Those wheels do look awful lot like the GL's. 👍

You are crazy...... or blind. I think Johnny Lightning was the epitome of hit & miss. Greenlight do make many boring castings, and once in awhile, horrible ones, but I think they do a consistent enough job. *shrug*
I don't really bother with Super or TH as long as I like the casting. Lolx.
If you could actually find them!
