Dat Cutout filter. I told a peer about that back in high school, and he used that to make my awful grade 11 yearbook cover.

Which "retro" car was that? I never cared for the real life vehicle, but I do like this casting. 👍

I don't know if they are from the same series, but I have two of 'em.

Got some Greenlight cars from vwdan at TTP, but I'm sort of disappointed. one big chip + likely the dirtiest car I've ever received.

Really cool cars though!

That's a Mitsuoka Viewt.

I see that the Green Viper is still in for repairs. :dopey:
That left half is meant to be the showroom! Right side is the garage. Actually, the left side is supposed to be the office, but I saw somebody using the space as the showroom, so I stole the idea. 💡
I've seen quite a few of them, left all behind. The regular release with the error door lines is worth quite a bit.
Not lately though, right? I did run into them quite often, but not lately.

I admire this car, every time I don't want to spend they money. :D

Ah, thanks. 👍
I may have come to the conclusion that I'll have to sell my Datsun 510 collection just to make all my bills this month. :(
Like, including the RLC? Vintage Racing? Your collection would take a pretty serious hit. Let me know if you need to hold off paying for the GL Mustangs for little bit. Don't remember how much, but probably not enough to make a difference anyway......
Dude sell something else! I don't know... your soul?
I've read that you can survive without food for at least a few weeks!

Ah, okay. In my defence I have never seen a gas/service station that has a showroom before.
If you look at some of my shots, my gas station also sometimes lacks the actual gas pumps.
Edit: Lamely has a nice feature on TLV Seibu Keisatsu Z.
Nice find(don't want google animation! lol). Article mentions Japan Booster on eBay. I've received couple of shipments from them before. As noted, they offer free shipping for purchase over $50(!). While their prices are higher than AmiAmi, they also have older/rarer cars, and their have very competitive pricing. I got that blue Kyosho Ferrari from them, and it was $7, $8 + free shipping, as both of my orders were over $50. Highly recommended seller for sho.

Yeah, after checking out that link in the article. I definitely will keep Japan Booster in mind for future reference. 👍 They have some cool stuff.

I so want that Kyosho Legacy wagon they carry, but I have so much committed just with AmiAmi this month, I've been hesitant to commit to yet another large order....... You can't win 'em all.

P.S. Any of you guys preorder the NISMO IDx? I thought I'd have received my invoice by now.

P.P.S. That eBay seller is un-frigging believable. Both of my orders, stuff arrived better than new, as if that's even possible. When you place your order, you'll see what I mean. They are true pros. 👍

So I was looking at that AmiAmi site you guys speak of, and I found this:
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-SCL2-27762&page=top/search/list?s_cate3=9918$pagemax=20$getcnt=0$pagecnt=3
I don't really like ordering online, but I really want this one.
Love AmiAmi, but I wouldn't consider ordering Greenlight stuff from them. while the Japanese stuff is dirt cheap from them, by my observation, Greenlight cars are not.

P.S. That does look good. 👍 If I were you, I'd just wait for the release & catch it on TTP, eBay, etc. online if you can't find it at Toys R Us.

@a6m5. Pros? you got me looking. But I must question:

As noted, they offer free shipping for purchase over $50.

I pulled up two listings and both said flat rate $8 shipping with no additional cost per item. Nothing about free shipping after $50.

Come to think of it, I think there were couple(just a couple) of items I ran into which weren't part of the free shipping promotion. Maybe some of the auction items weren't included? I think these are "free ship over $50".

Edit: OK, while I still love them, my deal fell thru.

There was a $60 car they had listed I've been drooling over for much of June. I figured I might as well order it, but it turns that in order to get the free shipping, it must be: a) Over $50 in purchase, but also b) You must order at least two items.

I couldn't find another car I wanted, since that Kyosho Legacy Wagon wasn't part of the free shipping promotion. Their inventory do change quite a bit, which is great, but I don't want to wait that long.

I decided to do one more search before adding another car I don't really want(well, not $15, $20 want), I found one on Amazon for $51 & change.

Dang. There's little I can take advantage of here. I kind of wanted to pick up the white 22b Impreza, but that brings in the $8 shipping... at the same time, it's $8 flat for anything at any amount anyway. At most, I could pick up a white and black Crown, and maybe a Toyota S800.... but I'm just pushing myself to spend at that point.

I suppose I'll skip and let that Kyosho box digest for a bit. Thanks for the share though. He's actually the seller I found the black Crown from back then.

I just added an edit to my last comment, but I totally see what you are saying there Andy. If you keep checking their inventory, they seem to move every 2, 3 weeks.

Cool cars I've bought from them in the past are mostly gone, and like you, I didn't really see anything I must have in their current inventory either. I'm certain I'll make another purchase from them in coming months though, if not weeks. As long as they show me the cars I want & free shipping promo. :D

Hey if you're down to do a split-order, I'm down.

I had to try it once. I had heard of HWC virtual vending machine before. Basically, you place an order, and you get whatever cars they picked out from the list. I ordered two "pulls", so I can combine shipping & get two cars for $23 & change.

There were handful of cars I liked in the list, but paying almost $12 each for potentially cars you are not even going to like is crazy.............. so I did it. I just got my order email, and they actually tell you which cars you have "won".

I won two cars I didn't want.

The. End.

:(

Actually, El Camino might be OK. Nice details as per Google image search.

That'd totally kill the benefit of the free shipping!

I still want that Ducati off ya, y'know? ;)

We can both each other get a single TLV off that guy without paying shipping from that order.

Afterwards, I can get that tossed into the same box as some of the stuff I've been eyeing off your TTP page.

As much as I want to, I'll just wait for my Japan trip this August.

In all honesty, when will August 21 come? I can't wait... HAYAKU!!! ISOGE!!!
