@Clocktower - I like ALL THREE! 👍👍👍 I like the @Cano 's Porsche, too. I've swung & missed that car more than once.

@AOS- Post it already, damn it!@#$@#% Please?

When you don't shop online: Con - You can't find tenth of what interests you. Pro - WAY more money stays in your pocket.

Those wheels do look awful lot like the GL's. 👍

You are crazy...... or blind. I think Johnny Lightning was the epitome of hit & miss. Greenlight do make many boring castings, and once in awhile, horrible ones, but I think they do a consistent enough job. *shrug*

If you could actually find them!

If you are able to find them and you like that model and casting then it will be worthwhile. Lolx.

Which "retro" car was that? I never cared for the real life vehicle, but I do like this casting. 👍
Yeah it is, just checked on eBay it's part of their Road Racers series. Hadn't realised that they've done a few cars from the Continental Tire Series, cool stuff.
I don't know if they are from the same series, but I have two of 'em.

Got some Greenlight cars from vwdan at TTP, but I'm sort of disappointed. one big chip + likely the dirtiest car I've ever received.

Really cool cars though!

Damn I love the Mustangs.

Does anyone know if anyone makes 1:64 scale V8 Supercars machines here in the US?

EDIT: No, not the Hot Wheels Falcon. ;)

@a6m5 is it just me or do those GL Camaro's sit way, way too high?
They sure do, bro. 👍 I think the wheels are bigger, too. Very dynamic stance, but also very high. They'd certainly look much better low, I think.
Oh and gimme dat red foxbody :P
Both are pretty. :D
Damn I love the Mustangs.
I cherry picked them, but it's a toss up between the black fox body & yellow Ford Racing for me.
That Fox Mustang has to be the industry's best casting of that car, by far.
While I'd agree, Greenlight do this weird headlamp decal thing. It's awkward, and pretty considerable drawback IMO. You'll find out soon enough(your police 'stang). :P

Sorry, but I don't plan on EVER getting rid of them. :sly: ;) Like I told photonrider earlier, I get way too attached to every Hot Wheel I buy and I have a lot more of an attachment for these than most vehicles I usually buy.

Good man! That's how it should be. :)
That's the mark of a truly obsessed collector. I have some old cars that are totally worthless (or fairly rare) but taking them away from me is like parting with my ribs. No way, sirree - leave my ribs alone.
In any case, if you do change your mind, I'm in Toronto.

By the way, I know you are wanting to know the price I paid for these so here it is. I got the Rolls Royce for $8 and all the other ones were $2 each!
Here's the receipt

That's killer. I'm not so hot on the Rolls, but the others were a total steal. Good pick-ups. 👍

Here are some of my very common HWs (common for the moment - hopefully they'll be rare fifty years from now):

And for the resident mustang maniacs:

Nice haul, seen loads of the 2000 GTR but only got one of that Sesto.
I gave in and got the Sesto that was in a 20 car pack then found a single card Sesto a few weeks after I got the 20 car pack one I still have the single one carded.

Looks like a typical scale model to me. Very nice. Is it a collectible?

More of my recent pick-ups:

Why doubles? Well, the doubles are the kind of which I leave one in the package - like so:

IMG_1355_zps74729e8f.jpg

The two rows on the left will be opened. The ones on the right will stay packaged; I already have some of them opened from previous singles, but it's nice to have them in packages, too. These will stay as investments, carefully stored away from light and humidity, hopefully to be sold twenty years from now.

Maybe. I hope it's as collectible as the real car. I fell in love with the M635CSi....

And just like the M3 GTR, I got it as a lucky pick.

It's a beautiful model, no doubt; even if it doesn't appreciate in value it's obviously a 'thing of delight'. :)

I could easily have that on my desk and stare at it all day long - it would pay for itself that way.

a6m5 intimates that it is HTF? Really? Already?

And also, my uncle owns one, in maroon. It looks big in person.

Haha! I guess. Big enough to get into, eh? Probably looks really classy in maroon.
There's tons of Bimmers here in Toronto, just mouthwatering. However - I saw a red Ferrari GTO the other day, and I'm still recovering . . ..
OMG - just the sound of it is enough to give one the tingles.

Back later - keep well, HW collectors, and happy hunting!

Harry.

The collection ratio is 2:1. You'd think it'd be the other way around but I guess it means that my instincts bring the TH Camaro to the yard.
