Thank god.Don't worry, @a6m5 The City's pictures are coming!
(Note: I have two. the blue one's bought later than the black.)
Still no go.In fact... Here it is!
Did Honda sell them over there? I'm shocked they didn't in the U.S. It would've been a huge hit on the west coast.
I think so. I've seen enough here. In highschool one of my friends had one.Did Honda sell them over there? I'm shocked they didn't in the U.S. It would've been a huge hit on the west coast.
Now I know why it wasn't sold in the U.S.For a chap of my height and weight it was a sport in itself getting in hahah
They are hilariously small. Now I know why it wasn't sold in the U.S.
But, over here.. The city's actually a successor to the EK civic as subcompact..
^ What's the specifications on that car?
I'd wager a very late 70's-early 80s build date, still made in Japan 👍 and also quite rare to find in such a good shape, those (awesome) wheels were specially prone to cracking ):
I've nearly bought an F-series Tomica.. It was that or the extremely-rare Tomica Limited #0001, released in 2001. I instead got the Limited..I have yet to buy a single F-Series Tomica. It costs an arm and leg.
Or one actually costs 5 of my Kyoshos.
For now, I'm still waiting for the Tomica Spyker C8 Laviolette SWB.
It looks like it's made around '76-'88. Do you have the box..? Just sayin..
A dollar?!? Seriously?!?
*gets handgun and shoots himself at the head*
Nah, no box here. Thinking about it now, I don't have a single Tomica in the box. I have several vintage tomicas but none of them with the original box, as most of the time the cost really skyrockets when they come with the box.
Here, have another vintage Tomica made in Japan, the toy version of the severely posted lately Supersillohuette Skyline, which might be a perfect excuse for @a6m5 to repost his TLV version. Right?
This mint thing cost me a buck at a flea market. Love when that happens.
Well... it actually cost me less than a dollar. About 80 cents at current exchange rates
It's one of those times when you really score with a guy that doesn't know a thing about what he has in their hands 👍 doesn't happen often... at least not as often as before, but when it does maaaaan it feels great
That's an '82.. But seriously.. A Dollar! In Japan, you have to spend at least 2,000 Yen to buy that!
Woah, nice display! How long did it take you to make it, and how did you make it?
.............................................................................................. Do you live in a museum?
My jaw just dropped, man. That is the most impressive display of Tomcia I've seen since........ the Tomica Museum & that Shizuoka collector, or some hobby show from just few weeks ago. Just awesome. 👍
Do you also have the red CR-X I'm after? Their first release?
That's an '82.. But seriously.. A Dollar! In Japan, you have to spend at least 2,000 Yen to buy that!
I saw that thing in the store lately. It costs as much as 3 Kyoshos.
But.. 80C is a steal!
Yes, I know it's quite expensive as it is the real, made-in-Japan deal. In fact I only own a single made-in-China, late-model Tomica, and it's the exac same car with an aniversary something gold tampo on the roof that I bought like 10 years ago off E-Bay for a buck and change, shipped. All other tomicas I have are vintage, Japan-made cars, including the brown truck I posted above. It isn't a 90s reissue, it's also the real 70s-80s-deal (:
Here, have another one that also cost me 80 cents, bought it with the same guy I bought the Skyline. Also Japan-made... bozosoku bike, mang!
Mint as all heck, too.
