@a6m5 I hate you (not really) [but really]. So many good cars. For some reason I'm quite taken by the Marauders haha.

It's quite alright, yab. Hate, insult, They are the sign & gesture of affection started by none other than that messed up our ray of sunshine, Cano.

Marauders are kind of cool, as they are basically a "muscle" version of the Crown Vics(ie police interceptor). I missed out on one earlier this year, I got to add it to my Greenlight collection this time. Now, I just need that Black Bandit series C6R. Missed out on that one countless times, but I'm cheap.

I'm not gonna lie, I see the cars in water & first thing that pops into my head is "he shouldn't do that". HOWEVER, they are such cool pics though.

Seriously, who's counting? I have TLV preorder until October, but after that I'm pretty maybe sure that I'm done.

Well, I ended up placing yet another order from Japan Booster. You guys know I have a huge crush on red CR-X by Tomica Limited Vintage. I've been looking at the white one on eBay for awhile now, which one reasonable seller was asking $40 for it w/free shipping.

I saw the same white one listed by Japan Booster today for something like $27? So I did jump on that + TLV postal truck for free shipping. Later on, after having already finalized the order, I found unmarked Crown police car I wanted. I contacted the seller, and he was able to send me a separate invoice to help me out with the free combined shipping!

Another score for those guys. @jtl46 already knows this about them, but Japan Booster really have the best price, best availability & best service, too.

There are cases in which that is true. When done right though, it's simple mathematics. You want to buy car "a" & car "b". Instead of paying two separate shipping of say $4 for each of those, totaling $8, you may pay less than just a dollar more for the shipping on the second item.

In the case of Japan Booster promotion, if you buy at least two cars totaling $50 or more, it's free shipping. By adding another car, and Japan Booster honoring that "free shipping" promotion on the third item, which this idiot failed to combine with the original order, I absolutely saved money with their combined shipping. I'm getting free shipping on three cars.

Well, if your plan is to buy 4 cars, then sure. If you plan on purchasing 1 car and figure "I'll buy 2 more to get free shipping" then it doesn't make sense, to me at least. They do that so you will spend more money with them.

Does Tomica Shop Exclusive mean that, it's made available only at the factory shop? I want to say that my Bluebird police stationwagon/van did say something about Tomica store, or something like that on the box. Maybe this Crown is, too. I don't know.

I wish I could find those locally(don't want to pay shipping), but only Toys R Us carry Greenlight around here. Maybe I'll swing by tomorrow & see if they have anything new(almost never do).

Also, the regular release Tomicas look SSSSSSSSSSO wrong with those wheels. Any wheels. Tomica really really needs to upgrade their standard wheels. Like 20 years ago.

I'd almost buy you that, if "upgrading" wasn't 20 bucks per car. Also, mainline tomicas aren't geared for collectors in Japan, they're toy cars. Tomica needs to upgrade their wheels.

Anyone got a good deal on eBay or anything that takes PayPal? Doesn't even have to be TLV just normal ones are fine.
