Last Christmas, my sister gave me two Kyosho GT-R boxes and an iPad mini cover. I opened those Kyosho boxes, and they contain Kenmeri sedans of the same color!

Sadly, one has to donate its side mirrors for the RX-3.

@a6m5 I hate you (not really) [but really]. So many good cars. For some reason I'm quite taken by the Marauders haha.
@RCKakashi14 that RX3 is very nice, and the colour even more-so! Very jealous!

I think their casting design has its own charm, but with them, problems lie in assembly & quality control. Very poor.

On the other hand, I just had to look at the rest of the Tomicas & these TLVs are by far my favorite. Vintage charm of the Fairlady & Isuzu Beret in the way they are put together & painted.... and that NISMO IDx. Ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. Do they have master skilled little people putting together those things? Design, manufacturing, assembly..... just the best I've ever seen. 👍

Yep. Just finished the IDx post for Lamley tomorrow. You can't overstate how amazing the Nismo is. In the post I highlight the detail on the wheels and brakes. It starts there and keeps going. I have said it before, but the IDx Nismo is going to be the TLV gateway drug for a lot of people.

The only way I'll ever stop collecting is if the Mrs wants me to give it up, whoever it may be. And that'll still be a tough decision. I struggle (maybe that's an exaggeration) to get through a week and a half without poking about the pegs.

Volume 08 is the Nissan Gloria and Laurel Police cars. INSANE! You cannot go wrong with the Osaka black and white livery, but with mags and gold lace? Over the top:
