Like VXR suggested, it can often be inventory control, as not all merchandise is ready to sell straight out of cases, also stores naturally want to get rid of the old stuff still on the shelves, first.
As I said, once it's off the truck and checked in, there's no more "inventory control" to do. Often, boxes are not put out unless needed.

I said you are 100% correct! ;)

Not completely true about "no more inventory control" though. Just because they are checked in doesn't mean they are fully ready to go. Goods still have to be unboxed, in certain cases, prepped, then set out where ever they go. Like I said, I totally agree with you in regards to hot wheels at Walmart though.

I was always told that Wal-Mart had a policy that if it's on the sales floor it's for sale. Not all stores follow it though.

There could be miscommunication in that policy. Maybe it's not really a policy, and that employee just said what they felt makes most sense and claimed it was. Or maybe not every Walmart employee is informed or misinformed of the same policy?

Miscommunication: we all do it more than we think.

Personally though, I agree with that policy... for the most part... for Walmart anyway.

Anyway, do you guys know what's been tough to find? A Hakosuka with a rollcage... The cages for the E30 were so easy to find... I have a really good feeling there hasn't been an abundance of the caged Skylines compared to the M3. :indiff:

From good to bad to worse lol.

The first ships to Canada, the other two don't. Thanks for searching for me though.

Kayan's store is stupid.

$8 shipping, 20% off two cars.. $12.80... to ship two cars... somehow it costs $4 more to add an extra car. I decided I'm not going to buy from Kayan anymore. Selection is good, but shipping is dumb. I'll play it more patient and put money on the other Kyosho sellers who don't come up with silly combined shipping rates.

Classy bus there, @Cano It's plain though. I wish there was more going on. Blue windows, billboard on the side would do it for me. :D

I'm not familiar with the seller, but I suppose it's not uncommon to throw in a gimmick to how the shipping is calculated. I know I often put low shipping price on a item, just so I can keep all the shipping charges uniformed. I compensate for the money I lose on shipping with the higher mark up on the actual item.
My instantaneous reaction: "Woooooo..... :embarrassed:" It is gorgeous.

Most entertaining part of that auction for me: Item Condition - “BAD CONDITION - COLOR FADE n Oxidized”................. 22 bids & $36+$8 shipping later. :D

If you haven't checked, Kayan's also got two Kyosho BEADS BNR32s currently at $3 bidding, for the same physical condition. Worth picking up for dem mods, yo

And all I'm thinking is "How the heck did you oxidize a car in its packaging?"

Started off the week with a bang. Trade has been done (and I do hope he likes my yellow BMW Isetta, and he has good taste...) and another M3 GTR added to my Kyosho collection:

While I didn't buy another Kyosho, I did buy something I was looking for in ages:

I especially like the M3 GTR. That's one of my favorite GT racecars not made by an American automaker. :)

And because I know someone is going to be curious, my favorite GT racecar in general is this, the Corvette C6.R.

He mentions below that the description is an error and he can't figure out how to change it.

@R1600Turbo Is that Auto World?

I actually ended up contacting the seller. Missed the memo in big red letters. I'm contemplating bidding on the item, but I likely have huge $$$ obligation coming up, so I have to figure that out first. :nervous:

I'm done with HWs for a bit. I'm going to the racetrack Tuesday night, so I might find one or two cars, but my main concern is the racing.

It is one of my favorites. Got mine from a friend in Japan. Glad I did. It doesn't pop up much on ebay.

You think this broke student is made of money? Please stop.
No, you stop preaching. You still have your TV, and, and, you didn't have Nissin noodles three nights in a row, OK? Yeah. So, there. j/k

She's a beaut.....

Well the difference between you and me is that when I say I have no money and post a photo of a $5 Auto World, you say you have no money and post photos of $200 worth of cars shipped from Japan.

You are not broke.

Nissin noodles
I read this as "Nissan noodles" and immediately thought, "What in the 🤬 does the car look like, and why the hell isn't it sold in America!?"

I think its time for me to go to bed. Its 1:10 AM where I'm at anyway.
