I saw the photos you guys posted, they were very detailed and looks Good. And pricing is affordable as well. Didn't know it has rubber wheels! Now I know!

Where can I buy some in Sg? Or any links?

First thing, come up with a line and focus on it. Kyosho 1/64 wins in variety. Ferraris come in as assembly kits (because of Mattel exclusive license), and the rest are sold in boxsets. Box sets come with blind boxes. Should you buy them individually, YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU GET. It's a surprise thing (it's a Japanese toy culture).

Have you tried going to diecast stores in SG? Along Orchard Road? As far as I know, they have some. But then again, eBay is your friend (or is it?).

Or if you're lucky, you know someone that sells them, or consigns them in stores (which is my current scenario).

I saw some in shops that sells RC cars along Orchard. But not many models.

Yes i have, i collect 1/18 and 1/64(I frequent those shops for 1/18), and i can assure you they dont sell Kyosho 1/64s here. They only have the OEM series. (F12, Avent, SV etc)

Hmmmm.... if in case you travel in HK, then there are a lot of shops that sell them.

But here are the popular ones. Only two:

Daboxtoys
Hung Hing toys

These shops get Kyosho 1/64s directly from Japan, making them cheap to buy.

Some of my kyoshos are from them as well, thanks for the recommendation.

Okay, my little brother of 8 years old just got his 30-something cars. Here are the trade photos. The ones on the left, I got from him, one the right, he got from me.

And no, I did not pressure him or try to swindle any out of him, he made all the choices by himself, and most of the deals were actually made by him. And wow, he's a tough negotiator . He had a 2000 first edition ferrari 333sp that I wanted, tried to get me to give him ten bucks! I'm ordering one off Amazon for less.

Close-ups of my new ones on the next page, so I don't flood this one.

Bah, hate to double post, but I gave him a dollar and my 57 vette for these back, and found out how I'm going to store them. Just take the back off, keep the blister, and...

Bam! Keeps the wheels off the wood, dust mostly away, and works until I get a stand to keep them in!

I botched a few, but this is how I'm opening them. Only one I'm not touching is the renault f1, cause it seems to be a special edition or something.

Chipmunks time...:D:D
WTF.
Never mind the small crack at the windshield (I got it cheap because of it...), but arguably one of the best Kyosho Ferraris:
It's certainly a nicer one I've seen. 👍 Maybe we could pretend the windshield was damaged in a Yakuza fight.....

I finally connected on a Kyosho Testarossa, last night. I'm stalking million Tomicas & wasn't even looking at Kyoshos, but Testarossa was one of the "must have" on my list, so for $16(red, shipped), I had to do it!

I save them when I can. I actually store loose cars in storage cases(holds 48?), but they still get banged around little bit inside the compartments, so I cut the blisters out, and they serve as sleeves for the cars to go in inside each compartment.

First of all, I was expecting southern accent! :irked: jk

I just explained above how I save my blisters, too. Why didn't I think of using my box knife? :dunce: Great tip. Thanks!

I need a case, just using these as a temporary storage siuation.

And the only problem with hinging them on the cardboard is that it still takes up a lot of space, which I need.

To each his own, exactly. Having said that, I'd have picked different cars also, but guess what Cano. Kakashi is the one with the access. He wins. :D

Yes, the sob 🤬

Giving another credit to the Zagato, the casting is put together by screws, not rivets.

So a wheelswap is easy.

There are latest Kyosho models out there that have screws that bolt the chassis.

I'm glad to hear that. Not for wheelswappin' the said Kyosho, but for reproducing the wheels and tires (:

...once you do, there's no turning back.

This is $$$$$$$o painfully true ):

Okay, picture time! I'll post 3 cars a day, so as to not crash everyone's computer . We'll start with (what I think is) the most beautiful car I have right now: The 1967 Shelby GT500.
IMG_20140719_185134.jpg Sorry for "The carpet is the background" thing going on, I don't have a stand.

IMG_20140719_185228.jpg This model is metal, with plastic wheels (as most hot wheels are). It's heavier than most of the cars I have.

IMG_20140719_185349.jpg Not really into the whole "Blue on blue" thing they have going on with the interior, but it's still a really nice model.

Next, we have a 3 window 34 Ford. I actually cut it out of the cardboard successfully, but the package was so timeworn that the blister fell off when I tried to put the car back in.

IMG_20140719_185717.jpg Love the flames on that!

IMG_20140719_185740.jpg This one, like the one above, is very heavy compared to say, my Barracuda.

IMG_20140719_185759.jpg I've seen plenty of these in real life (I was even offered a ride, but due to time reasons, I had to decline), and the detail on this is amazing.

And for my final car of the day, we'll do my Auto World 1961 Dodge Dart Phoenix (I hope non-hot wheels are still cool :D)
IMG_20140719_190023.jpg This car came with its own collectible storage box, so it was meant to be opened.

IMG_20140719_190140.jpg It features an openable hood (that's as far as it goes, so sorry for not being able to show you 1/64 scale 7-ish liters of pure adrenaline :))

IMG_20140719_190202.jpg Metal on plastic, just like any other 1/64th scale.

IMG_20140719_190214.jpg The picture doesn't do that shade of red justice.

Alright, if you're still reading this, please rate my photography skills on a scale from "Random teenager with nikon" to "Insert famous photographer here." Be honest, and give me any tips you'd be willing to share :).

And also, a question. I have a color-changing 1964 GTO. It changes color depending on the water temperature. If I dip it in whatever temperature turns it black, and let it dry, will it revert back to the green color it is now? Thanks in advance.

Oh, and any requests for tomorrow's three?

It looks like you didn't put much effort in. Much like with my pics. :P I'm sure @AOS- is wondering where he could begin as you read this. :D

I didn't . Just focused and used lens blurring, nothing special. I think they're amazing, considering I'm using a Nexus 7...

Well was off on vacation this week and picked up a lot (and I mean a lot) of Hot Wheels, I don't think I have bought this many on vacation well, ever. I enjoyed too! :D

For starters, went to Wal Mart near where we were staying and got these:

Two Twin Mills (one for an engine donor and another for keeps), both of which were the last ones available. Then two GTO's, one of which is for customizing since I have been waiting to customize one for quite awhile and the other for keeps of course.

Went to the local mall around where I was staying, seen a man selling some good Hot Wheels and even had a deal where you buy 6, get one free. Like father, like son (or this case sons) my ambition I inherited from my father kicked in and to my surprise my dad and my brother did the same as well and even they started buying a lot of Hot Wheels, which is very unusual. It's not everyday I see this happening. Will post there purchases later thought. ;)

Here are mine that I got.
image.jpg
^In order from left to right, Command tank, Alien, Old #3, Ex Corgi Tipping Lorry, Final Run series Semi Fast and a blue Mercedes 500SL.

You'll love this photonrider! ;) Went to my favorite flea market and unlike last year I was not disappointed this time. :) Been buying Hot Wheels from there since the beginning and sadly I fear this could be the last year I get to go back in there ever again. :(

Two Hot Wheels Pro Circuit Nascars! :)
Nascars.jpg
If this is the last time I ever go in that flea market again, I feel like I made it meaningful. :)

Went back to that mall again and got even more Hot Wheels from the same man again. He said earlier he had more tanks he was waiting to pull out when Mustang Week came, my brother tried to convince him to pull them out last time since we wanted them but he didn't, why he didn't do so since we were ready to get them is beyond me. Was going to try to see if could get that blue Ferrari 312P for lower price but sadly he had packed it away. But on the bright side we did get the tanks we wanted later on along with a few other good ones. :D

Here I got me a Dark Rider series Silhouette II, Big Bertha (Laughs maniacally), Ex Corgi Digger (To replace my old slightly beat up one), Ambulance, Tall Ryder (for customizing), Alien, Hot Seat (for a wheel swap) and finally a blue 56' Flashsider.
image.jpg
Funny how I got an Ex Corgi Tipping Lorry dump truck first and then a Ex Corgi Digger after, what an awesome combination!

Went in Toys R Us and was disappointed by there stock but I got this Mustang:
image.jpg

And last but certainly not least, my long search is finally over!!!!!!!
image.jpg

Got this shortly before leaving and it was shipped in a cereal box! Now that I have my second Rigor Motor for customizing, I can finally finish what I started long ago.....

Shouldn't be long before I finally reveal what my "crazy idea" is that some of you have been curious to know about. :sly:

Then the Oyabun got mad and slaughtered everyone.

Testarossa is quite nice. What color?

I might grab a blue 512 TR soon.
