No, you lied to try to make people believe you are more talented than you are.

It's called a lie.

YES YES YES! This is how you make progress in GT; don't copy another user, test stuff for yourself and make your own opinions.

It's called a language; learn it. That includes punctuation.

You're a bloody fool. At best.

**** off mate

Good work so far...

Actually, no. Because the posts I tend to read have some meaning and content behind them.

EDIT: Sorry mods for the language, will keep it clean from now

i cant take a lecture from a person with an avatar of Ren.

P.S.

I was unaware I was in English class. I thought I was on the internet.

Sorry but do you have to drag this thread down or even get it locked, use the pm system for this rubbish.

He got to 100% by not doing it all himself, so what? It wasn't a condition of this thread that you could only post if you'd only done it by yourself as far as I could recall? B-spec or Gameshark there isn't much difference in it is there guys?

Before mods start kicking people's butts for what's happened in the past page, I will say this.

silverbullet01, the point of the 100% club is for the people who have driven or used B-Spec to get to 100%. Gamesharking, ARMax's, they aren't welcome to it.

If that was the case, I could've done that the instant I clicked "win all races/missions/licences" with an ARMax, have it go to 100%, get my FGT WITHOUT even getting into a single car and say "oh, I've made 100%". :yuck:

As for your comment about not listening to people due to avatars, how about you try taking in my avatar because if you don't, I've got some nice fish you can swim with. PF is saying some very valid points, if you can't finish the game without resorting to a game-assist device then you shouldn't really post in this thread, period. Your attempt of a defence only made you look silly and gained nothing but questions and contempt from the people who have completed the game.

PF, I respect what you say, but please don't over react like you are. ;)

wohoooo. I finally get to join

I never knew your name was Rees, FishforRent.

I did it last year... then lost my PS2 (but not the game) so now it's just a collector's peice
I had 708 cars, 100%, I even stayed up 12 HOURS GETTING GOLD IN SUPER LICENSE TEST 15 (Nurburgring Nordschleife) just to say "I FINALLY OWN A MODEL T!"
Unfortunately, I don't feel like I belong, being the fact that I've only done one race ever in the endurance hall on A-Spec (New York 200 Miles)
I miss that game....:nervous:

I have started playing GT4 in the last month or so trying to complete the game, as well as spending time buying some more cars and generally enjoying the game.

I was at about 91%, now I have made it to 99.8%, so I'm almost there! :D I know I have one more Le Mans 24 Hours to go, I'm just waiting for some time to do it.

However, to cut a long story short, I assume you need all gold licenses to get 100% - is this correct?

In assuming that, you would be absolutely....

Incorrect!

Nah, you don't need golds, from memory, you don't even need S license at all to get 100% (if you let Barry do the work, but I keep him in his box). So as long as you complete all races and missions you get 100%.

I am at 95 percent, I have maybe two gold licenses, and 7 missions left, I have come to the conclusion I will never do it, after trying for day upon days to beat those missions.

Only seven Missions to go....

That's pretty close!

Can I ask which Missions are missing? The usual suspects?

Respectfully,

I counted wrong, I only need 4, Opera Paris with the Rally Cars, The NSX around Suzuka, The Corvettes around Sears Point, and of course the SLR around Nurburgring, I also need the Formula One Championship.

Nice group!

The Corvette's at Infineon are tough but doable. The upside is that the starting wait is not too long. Over in the individual Mission threads, Famine and Duke have posted some very useful coments about how to handle some to the important corners.

Now the Suzuka race is quite fun! The NSX really has to fly to catch the leading Honda S800. The only sure way to win this is with more practice at Suzuka. The 90 second wait is tough!

Good luck,
GTsail

Spurred on from fresh GT5 information, I finally completed the game!

I completed it by winning the chicane version of the Le Mans 24 Hours with the BMW V12 LMR.

Requesting permission - will post pics shortly.

Dear Pescara,
I kind of figured I would never get there either, and I know us telling you that the missions really aren't impossible means nothing. Trust me though, it can be done. I'm no superhuman, I haven't put in hours upon hours accruing a-spec points. I grassmowed, wallslid, and even got a 5sec. penalty on my way to an M34 pass, and I've only done it once and there's no way I'd be able to do it ever again. I love B-spec mode; I enter Toyota 7's in compact car championships. There really isn't anything notable about me at all. Trust me though, from an average GT4 guy to an average GT4 guy, it can be done with a little hard work, and it's something you will be proud of - that's why this thread exists. Best of luck.

To all others,
I am extremely humbled to be in the position to ask for entry into this club. I haven't done anything notable during my GT4 quest at all....I've wallrode, grasscut, B-Spec'ed, you name it. Out of all of you, I am perhaps the least....
Congrats to all on, most especially, your pass of M34 (the hardest challenge in all of gaming to date) and the completion of all 3(?) 24h races, something that is unheard of in other games but is common to all of us. This kind of thing is what sets GT apart from all others. Thank you for considering my achievements, and once again, congrats to all.

Good job! I started GT4 from the beginning about a fortnight ago and I'm up to 35%.

Completed all Licence Tests, American, Beginner. I'm about half way through European, Japan and Special Conditions. Have finished off 5 Endurance races and I'm waiting to complete Professional as I have to acquire a LMP1 Car.

That list does not even include model specific cups and a all other hidden races.

GT4 is very big isn't it?!

I did it! Don't have a picture of my stats, but I do have this:

It's a weird feeling, after having this game for years.
