He was banned more than 4 years ago. Which is much more than I can say about you.

What does that mean? Are you trying to scare me?:nervous::ill:

More likely to be one of the missions, M34 is generally the event that will hold people back from 100% completion.

If you just wanted to 'finish' the game Doing the FGT championship in B-spec is easily done.

M34 because 'you' have to drive it will most likely hamper 75% of the people.

I understand and agree. From what I read in the Driving Mission 34 thread, that mission is harder than salt on a hard boiled egg!!!:D

M34 requires tons of practice to win, it's a case of trial and error even for the most experienced players out there I'd guess.

Just know that it is the best feeling when you win the bugger! Worth all the frustration in the end (i broke a controller in the process:scared:)

Well.. Maybe 98.4% would get me in.. I just need to do the Formula GP Races D: Which I completely fail at.

P.S: My 'Girlfriend' doesn't care at this age, :D So i'm all set.

Congratulations SNEJKi!

Great job!

What was your final race or Mission that put you over the top?

What's next?

200 point A-spec races? Golf?

Should probably drop my name in here. Finally got 100% in this. My final race was getting gold in the F1 championship (the race at the Nurb). Was so close to getting 100% about 6 months ago but lost my gamesave on the ps3 after it died (was at around 98.x%). Thankfully I had a back up on my ps2 memory card at 96.x% which I had backed up after finishing M34. I would like to max out my b spec and a spec points but I think i spent enough time on GT4.

Well, I am going through my 2nd burnout phase with GT5P, and I decided to boot up the PS2 for the first time since getting my HDTV over a year ago.
I decided to put in GT4 and see what it looks like with a component cable hooked up to the Vizio TV. I am really pleased with the graphics and I can't wait to experience GT4 with a wheel for the first time :dopey:

After browsing the forums tonight, I came across this thread and thought hey, I might as well submit my entry to the 100% club, so I took a photo of my status screen in GT4 (forgive the quality, it was on my cell phone).

Welcome aboard Silverbullet01

How did you reach $1 billion in credits?

I am a big fan of both A-spec and B-spec racing, so I know you can rack up credits in the B-spec mode if you run enough races (I personally have over $350 million in credits after 250,000 B-spec miles, and winning over 1600 prize cars).

Care to share your tactics?

Respectfully,

I bought a Audi TT-R touring car and went to the European Hall and entered the Deutsche Touring Car Meisterschaft.
It's five races worth Cr.15 000 each plus Cr. 75 000 for winning the championship. the prize car is a Mercedes CLR Le Mans race car worth
Cr.745 000 for a total profit of Cr. 895000. i did it alot of the course of the game plus i kept all the prize cars til the end to used them when need then sold most of them once i completed the game.

Sweet, welcome to the club silverbullet01, although your B-spec is a tad high, How much driving did YOU actually do :sly:

Actually i used b-spec for all the endurance races. i would switch out in the pit and would drive to the next pit lap just to drive the track but i used b-spec mainly to speed up the race.

If this is a 100% club then couldn't you have put it in the "social groups" thing?
Then you could have had members!

Silverbullet01, I'm sorry to question your game stats. But I still don't understand how you reached $1 billion in credits.

Your screenshot shows 234 prize cars. Even if every one of these cars was worth $745,000 (like the AMG Mercedes CLK GTR) your credits would only total $174 million (234 times $745,000 = $174,330,000)(and this would be a generous assumption because at least 50 of the prize cars would be ones that you get from winning races during the normal course of completing all races on the way to 100% game completion, and many of these are not worth $745k).

I apologize in advance if I have overlooked something.

Even with the fact that there are (I think approx 151 prize cars) so there for you could only have had (let be generous) 80 DTM prize cars at a sell value of $745,000 (totals $59,600,000) and the fact you only have $24,912,800 in prize money. Total prize money you earn from 100% completion is almost $18,500,000, this therefore leaves you with 6.5mil in prize money for the DTM thus, you could have only run the DTM 43 times maximum netting (32mil for the selling of the cars)

now if you add these up

you are left with nealry 920 million to collect from all other prize cars. this leaves an average of 60,000,000 per prize car if you sell all of them. I think not young Jedi.

Maybe a gameshark was used.?

i was at 99.8% wit only mission 34 to complete when i used the gameshark. the closest i came was 9 secs behind (ntsc verison) with a dualshock controller and thats the truth. i borrowed a friends gameshark to complete the game because i felt like i had tried my best and came up short. plus the fact that it took me 3 months on and off playtime to complete and 3 broken controllers and i had to rebuy the game because i broke it by hitting the ps2 wit the controller.(slight anger problem but the game is so difficult). and lastly i dont need anybodys approval or disapproval to know that i felt i had completed the game.

Oh dear...
99.8% ... gameshark ... and thats the truth
You must know we'll find that hard to believe
i felt like i had tried my best and came up short
That's an accurate assessment. Even more so after that post. People here are terribly supportive, and if you use the info available here and practice more you will not come up short, you'll be able to do it.
i dont need anybodys approval
... so why make the initial post? In the 100% thread?

If you need help on M34 you could ask for help on the topic or preferably read the hundreds of posts devoted to it. Then watch the youtube videos etc to refine your technique.

I think you are trolling, but thought I'd put this in as suggestions for others.

i didnt find this site until later on in the game and yes i did use the search button and watched the replays of m34. i used other ppl winning splits and everything. the merc is just too heavy and too fast for those tires. if i had a wheel and pedals i believe i would be able to tame it. the reason i posted in this thread is because i indeed had 100% complete and im trying to get 100 posts so i can change my avatar to a custom one. it doesnt matter if u believe me or not. i still got the black F1 car and thats the reason i wanted 100%. and since completing the game i have created another save and im trying to do it in ALL a-spec.

You don't get to change your avatar or message at 100 posts, or 100%. And you won't make any friends by making BS statements about your ability.

And a post like:
i checked and no my pants arent on fire
is a ****iing insult. You lied, repeatedly, so own up to it. It's disgraceful behaviour and IMO you don't deserve the help you've been given.

Incorrect

Contradiction
i never asked anybody for help
No, you lied to try to make people believe you are more talented than you are.
its called a joke, lighten up
It's called a lie.
i read other peoples posts and used the info to help myself
YES YES YES! This is how you make progress in GT; don't copy another user, test stuff for yourself and make your own opinions.
its called a joke, lighten up
It's called a language; learn it. That includes punctuation.
i never asked anybody for help

You're a bloody fool. At best.

Good work so far...
are u always this uptight about what people post?

Actually, no. Because the posts I tend to read have some meaning and content behind them.

EDIT: Sorry mods for the language, will keep it clean from now

Silverbullet01 , I want to thank you for your quick response to my earlier post, and for owning up to the fact that your first post was mis-leading.

GranTurismo is just a game (even if some of us have become addicted, guilty:guilty:), so how its played is up to each individual gamer.

However, I think that GTPlanet's posting rules clearly state that you should not make posts that are mis-leading or false. This is why you've gotten such a sharp reaction.

We all know that parts of the game are quite hard (Mission 34 comes to mind), but that is the challenge. Sure, there are a talented few that have just breezed thru the game (of course they might be aliens), but most of us have to work quite hard to get to 100% game completion (it took me three years). So I can understand the feeling that you wish there were shortcuts.

If your first post had said ---

"Man, this game is hard to complete"

"I've had to resort to using a gameshark to reach 100% (because I really want to drive the Black Formula GT)"

We would have understood.

Your screenshot shows 80 golds. If this is anywhere near accurate, then your driving skills are good enough to get to 100% game completion. I only have 54 golds (an area that I am slowly working on), but have been able to get to 100% game completion after much practice.

Anyway, I would follow PF's advice to read everyone's posts and work your way thru the game properly. There is a tremendous amount of useful information on GTPlanet that can help you win the tough races.

i appreciate u answering me in a calm matter. im a big fan of racing video game fan and consider myself an above average driver(i think i would do much better wit a steering wheel). As you stated its a game and is up to the person on how it is played therefore if i want to use a gameshark i may. and i understand what you are saying about posting false or misleading info on these boards. true i did said i had completed 100% when i fact i had complete 99.8% without cheats. but i didnt come out and said that i beat the game and was better than all yall mofos. my true stats are 99.8% Cr. 11,459,345 gold-2 silver-4 bronze-74 and all the mileage is correct. the reason i have a alot of bronze is i saw no need to slave to get gold because bronze will get the license.
