It took some meticulous planning to get the mileage/money/prizes to round out like that - that, and a few hunded laps of the High Speed Ring over the past two weeks.

Took some meticulous planning? Holy gee wiz man! I just looked at your screen shots, I can't believe you actually got everything to come out even like that. Wow that's amazing :awestruck:  Are you obsessive? Are you going to keep the game like that and start a new one so you don't mess it up? I don't think I could add another day on there and watch such a perfect stat screen get ruined. +rep definitely... My mind is still blown - it will take me awhile to get back to normal here. Geez, what the heck posessed you to do that? Anyway, congratulations and thanks for one of the coolest GT things I've ever seen.

Are you obsessive?

You could say that.

Are you going to keep the game like that and start a new one so you don't mess it up? I don't think I could add another day on there and watch such a perfect stat screen get ruined.

Now that's the 64 million dollar question... wouldn't 64 million be a nice bank balance... and it would round my Total prize money up to 100 million... should be do-able in about 555 more days racing... perhaps gain me 11,111 more A-spec points... maybe even match my mileage to Bobs...

I just wanted to create a memorable stat screen, and I think I achieved that. I suspect I will continue on the same save, and aim for another memorable stat screen in the future, but for now I'm taking a short break from GT4.

Wow, that's pretty amazing you still intend to do more. Matching your a-spec mileage to Bob's at the same time you hit 64 million all the while keeping your win ratio at 100%, that sounds nerve wracking! GT5 might come along and interrupt you before you get the chance though. Who knows what GT5 will have for a stat screen? Anyway, the whole idea is cool (though I doubt I will attempt to follow in your footsteps!). Nice work 👍

I'm only at 70.2%:( And that's with bob's help on some races. But now I'm starting up a new file on another card with out bob and with 100% win ratio.:)

No. The best you can do is play with the LAN mode, if you think it's worth it. And so far, I am at 81.2% complete, I have been improving B-spec Bob a lot lately!

I am only at 50.4%.
But I have completed it 100% twice already, so shouldn't be too hard...
The only thing that I have trouble with are the driving missions.

I got 100% about a month or two ago (I also own every car, special colors included).

Do you get anything for completing GT2 or 3 100%? I'm thinking about going after them soon.

I have already completed 100% GT4 in the past, but after that I erase the game save and start a new one!

In the moment I'm at 60,7%. and have all Gold License.

No douth GT4 is a very nice game! :dopey:

I have but one more race to go before I can say I'm done GT4. the 9hrs of Tsukuba. I know, a little odd that i left it till last, but i felt an enduro was suitable, and I've long since done the 24's. this is all I have left. I plan on doing it tomorrow. My stats are nothing special. I don't keep alot of cars, I don't race for alot of a spec points (one race to go, only around 16000 points. deplorable, I know.) and I don't have all golds in any of the licenses. but dammit it's been fun. and I never cheated. and I'm proud of my minuscule soon-to-be achievement.

If you have 2 memory cards, just copy, and ave one with the 'perfect days' and one with the 'perfect money'. then you can have your cake, play with it, eat it, drive it, and look at it too!

EDIT: JUST HIT 100% YESTERDAY. WOOO! love my Black F1 car. A GT4 playing friend of mine was like "are you gonna keep it at 0 miles?
Me: Hell no. I'mma drive the piss out of it!

i also have 100% but i don´t know why, i haven´t one car. it´s an Nissan 240RS (not the rally car)

did somebody have the same problem?

It shows up all of twice in the historic lot per cycle, so it's very rare. You can check the used car list stickied at the top. Personally, I have 100%, and I have all cars but one that I've missed so far but shouldn't be hard to find, thankfully.

where can you get the nissan 240RS (1300)? it´s not the rally car.
you can´t buy this car and you can´t win this car. i don´t understand it. can someone help me?

Go here and download the zip file.

Extract the zip file and open using excel or openoffice.
Find the Nissan 240RS and when it appears.

(It's one of the rarest cars in GT4, appearing just twice in the whole 700 day used car cycle.)

Job done. 👍

Now let's keep the thread on the 100% Complete topic. ;)

Woohoo!!! I finally did it.

On the 5603 game days in my 3rd saved game . . . I finally achieved the pinnacle 100.0%, and was rewarded with the Black Gran Turismo Formula car for my efforts.

For the life of me I never thought I would ever fully complete the game. Not only because of the dreaded Mission 34 (which I managed to beat with a margin of victory of 0.032. I beat it around 2:30 am during a delusional bout of insomnia, using rally techniques. And though the replay wasn’t pretty, the mission was complete.), and other challenging events, but also because of my constant deviation from progressing in the game due to constant buying, testing and tuning various cars. (This was the down fall of my second game where I peaked at 93.8%)

Looking back, I feel that I achieved more this go around than I had in the previous games. I managed to . . .

. . . hone my tuning skills relying less on power and more on tweaking the suspension and drive train . . .

. . . win The 24 Hours at Sarth-1 driving my Audi R8 with no handoffs to the B-spec pilot. The PS2-S hummed for 6 straight days suffering no ill effects . . .

. . . tune my Audi R8 to run the 24 hours at Sarth-1 where it was able to go 10 complete laps (typically 1 lap farther than the A.I. could muster.) on racing hard tires before having to pit. Pitting was due to needing fuel, (1 to 3 units left at stop.) and remained fairly stable after the frame became warped. It also was able to go longer before pitting during the infineon and Super Speedway endurance races . . .

. . . use my work horse car (’99 Nissan Skyline GT-R ) to compete and win 41 events.
29 Events in the rally hall
2 Events in the Beginner hall
4 Events in the Professional hall
2 Events in the Extreme hall
1 Events in the Endurance hall
2 Events in the Japanese hall
1 Manufacturer event
41 Total Events run
I probably could have run more, but it became hard to resist the urge to run other cars EVEN IF I knew the GT-R could compete . . .

But now that I have reached my goal, its time to go back to buying and experimenting with cars again.

Congratulations Paragon, particularly your achievements with la Sarthe I and the '99 Skyline.

Yeah, I got distracted many moons ago, and realised that in the last 6 months have progressed by 0.8% to 49.2%. There's just too much to do in the game...

So what's next Paragon (in addition to testing cars)? Will you go back to pick up the remaining A-spec points?

I just realised I have never posted my 100% game completion in-to this thread. Please see sig. below for the link.

Yhe only thing left for me would be to max out B-spec Bob and collect all cars. :)

Oh, come on, B-Spec is meant to be kept as low as possible. It looks better that way. :sly: And maxing it is just tedious bookkeeping. On the other hand, getting all cars is pretty cool. It's not terribly hard, either, as long as you keep track of the days.

I've got a list of about 25 cars that I have been wanting to work on. Some of which I picked up somewhere along the line and may have used, others I have to pick up yet. I was trying to limit what I bought until I completed the game. Its too easy to wast time in the used car lots.

I never built any "monster" cars this time around. During this game I tried not to do any modifications that left lasting effects on the car. (i.e. - weight reduction, port polish etc. etc. . .) Even the GT-R that I used didn't receive any of these upgrades, so I could take it back down to its stock form from time to time for points. And when I did build them, I tried to keep it close to the competition . . . For the most part.

After I burn through the list I will probably start running around trying to scrape up more a-spec points. I did compete in several 200pt. races, and won quite a few of them. But I know that there are more points out there to get. I want to say that I had close to 41,000 pts. at the end.

Or I could go back through the license tests and wipe out the last couple bronzes that are still there.

I'm sure that I'll find something to do.

I too, feel victim to the "tuning" bug when i hit around 86%. it was really hard to break the habit, and eventually get to 90%, where i stayed again, whilst i took hundreds of photos. then i got to around 97%, i stalled again, this time on DM34, which i INSISTED on beating before it was the final event, based on principle. On my previous files, I'd beaten it. but this time, i just couldn't. it was like trying to break a long standing record. as soon as you get close, something goes wrong.

when i beat it, i plowed through the final events, only to find myself .3% or somethign dumb like that short. after runnign through every single event in the game, and checking like 6 years of calendar (for Dm1 to be completed first), i found that the el capitan race in the American all stars tourney was bronze, not gold. raced er in a 2J for kicks. Beat the bejesus out of those pricks.

👍
