Congrats on joining the club. đź‘Ť I would guess that the 6 sec vs. 0.5 second difference you noted is the PAL/NTSC difference -- the PAL people get 8 extra seconds. (And yes, us NTSC people are bitter about it!) Check to see if the video had a 115 or 123 second countdown...

My NTSC version definitely has the 123 second countdown. I should have it memorized, I've seen it so many times. I don't really feel bitter now since I beat the Mission. I recorded the Mission and I'm going to savor it a few times. I just honestly can't imagine beating that Mission without grass shortcuts. I even had to slow up at times in my winning run just to avoid bumping a car in my way. You even have to know when those cars are going to give berth to let you by if you catch them at the wrong times (or take to the grass if possible). When I was looking at the PAL version videos something did seem screwed up as to when and where they were passing some of the opponent cars. I couldn't believe how they could make up that much time over certain sections even by cutting grass. One video I watched (out of three) the dude spent almost as much time on the grass as he did on pavement with almost no speed penalty. That blew me away. No way you could drive a real car like that so it's not a true simulation. Truthfully, in retrospect, Mission 34 was the most challenging race for me in GT4 and I'm going to go back and improve my time just for the smug satisfaction of cheating all to hell. The One Lap of Nurb with the Pace car was way easier even though I had to stay on the pavement at all times.

I finally got a 100% yesterday. I got the game when it first hit the stores here. But never had the time to play it like I wanted to. But I just played it a little at a time and finally finished it. I love this game and its been fun. Now I can just buy and sell the cars I want, and race my favorite tracks.
I dont post that often, But always read through the boards here, and also the ign,GT4 boards. I wanted to make sure to Thank all of you that take the time to post your ideas, and advice.

I returned from a holiday on Saturday with about 10 misions left, and now I have only M34 to do, so I'll be joining you all soon. (Since returning from holiday my GT4 form has been 'in the zone', I cannot believe what a difference 8 days away from the game has made).

I completed M34 last night and reached 100%. I've taken just under 3 months which isn't bad considering I had a holiday and my work schedule (which involves travelling abroad).

Now just got to finish golding the S licences (but 3 out of the next 4 weeks I am out of the country) so probably sometime in July.

M34 wasn't too bad (easy PAL version). I practised Tuesday evening with a stock SLR, then yesterday soon had my time down to 7m 5s and decided to go for it. I noticed that the Mission SLR handles a little different, probably softer suspension. I needed to brake a fraction earlier and be a bit more careful before flooring it at the apex, but nothing I couldn't adjust within my driving style.

After about an hour and with quite a few restarts I managed it on my 3rd complete lap. Caught the SL on the right after the long straight. Then got a bit nervous and decided to leave my pass until the drag race to the line -0.6s. If it wasn't for the two minute wait I would have overtaken the SL much sooner and would have been a lot quicker.

Got 100% sometime in May with 100% win ratio. Working on points, I am at 71,000+ A-Spec, I have all but 4 gold licence cars. I want to find a real SLR and take a bat to it!

Mission Accomplished on June 3rd. Finally beat that blasted mission 34. :D It took only 4 months and 7 days!

100% Club, I am in! :)

Bought the game when it comes out on Feb 22. So it took me 4 months, not too bad :sly: Took a break after beating the evil mission 34 and got engaged :dopey: Finally finished the loooooooooooong Formula GT World championship and 1000 miles today to claim my black Formula GT. woohoooo!

31170 A-spec points I guess it's on the low side. Will go back and try to get more. Will try to get all the cars as well. Car count now standing at 677/721. Gotta pay a lot more visits to DTCM :ouch:

License 67G/13S/0B. The Model T is the only prize car I haven't won.

Looking back at the entire 100%, the 0.018% attributing to Mission 34 is probably harder than the rest of 99.982% Mission 18, Grand Canyon Hard, IA-16 (R92CP in Sarthe II) also took me a long time.

 to all of you!

I just joined the 100% club this afternoon! I've had the game since the 9th of March, so that means it took me around 3.5 months to complete.

So now its back to square one. Fortunatly I've got a few other memory cards lying around.. I always play it easy the first time (notice the lack of A-spec points and gold medals). I'll try to get as close to the perfect game as I can on my new save.

(oh yeah, this is on the PAL version, since it does matter for M34)

I'll never get 100% because of the damned missions. Theyre just too hard for me with a ds2 and I cant afford a decent wheel and pedal set. Im at 93.5% now with about a dozen races to do again cos theyre bronze or silver and La Sarthe 2 for the bentley as the only race I havent done yet.
Now I gotta find a person to race against.

Australia also has the PAL edition? Just keep going at it with your DS2. It's a cliché, but after spending some time on them you will get them eventually. Some of the harder missions took me around 4 hours each and mission 34 took up 3 days of my time (not continious gaming).

I think I only passed a few of the first ten missions on a first try. But you can be pretty darn sure that you'll know everything there is to know about the tracks from harder missions. I wasn't a big fan of the ring before M34, now I can't get enough of it.

I find it interesting that there are so many people who get close to 100% but have not done all the missions. Interesting because they indicate the missions are really hard.

Maybe they use too many mods in the rest of the game and can't compete when they are forced to use a car in stock form?

Ok... go ahead... flame me...(I did all the missions before I got to 45%)

this just in, people in the 10% club are allowed to have girlfriends.

Hell, my girlfreind ALWAYS wants to play when I am. Says she never gets to play enough...Doesn't know **** from shineola about cars(she's into motorcycles, whereas I'm scared to death of 'em), isn't bad with the DS2. Good pick, eh?

But back on topic, I'm at 37%, and I've been playing for almost 3 1/2 weeks now. I've had the worst of luck with the hardware, though...had to fix my PS2 the other day, and I've yet to fix my DFP....

Joined 100% club today. Hardest race- Mission 34 without a doubt. Replayability factor- Getting as many 200 point races as possible!!

100% x 2
all cars (PAL version + a few duplicates)
all gold licenses
all missions
First past 100000 A-spec points (as far as I know, sorry Gentry Coach, but you know second isn't at all bad)

..........phew........I'll put my ego to bed now. sorry for being a braggard/saddo.

66.

EDIT: I too have a girlfriend, however mine despises PS2 and has hampered my mission repeatedly.

Hey, I just joined the 'half' 100% club, Yay!!!

Ok... I am bored out of my mind at work... had to post something to distract myself... won't blame you if you feel like flaming me....

Reached 100% yesterday and have every car possible. Now what? In a way I feel acomplished and lost at the same time :indiff:

I am at 100% as well, but I am working on max A & B points.

The A- Spec points are very hard to get, but lots of fun. Try it out! I have been working on it for 3 weeks.

I'm not even upto 75% yet, I got the game the day it came out.

I have just got GT4 (Yesterday) and i'm at 0.3% :nervous: . You must all be very good at this game to get 100%, way better than i'l be by miles I think.

I am doing the B licence at the moment, but i'm not sure which car is best to buy with the cr10,000 I have. I did buy one car but all the cars in the first race of the Sunday Cup kept overtaking it by miles. :nervous:

I'm going to have to practice alot I think on this game.

Ok, first off... Count me in, I've achieved 100%

Now, Need4GT,
Don't be down on yourself.

Keep at your license tests and keep your racing clean.

100% is not half as hard as you think.
I know that seems odd for me to say, but trust me... Beating out the AI in gt is more about learning the competition and then exploiting the competition.

You can do it. đź‘Ť
Just stick with it and don't give up.

I made the grade on august 8. Strated the game three weeks after release in Australia.

Didn't drive one centimeter (inch) in B-Spec mode.

100%. All gold in licenses.

I have pal version, use DFP in manual gear change mode.

I have a screen shot on disk and will add it to this post when I work out how.

Ive had it since the 18th, Same day I joined here as well, I played none stop for a while then just let it go, this week im back into it and upto 65% complete, but I dont know if I will complete this one, its so boring now, same stuff over and over again, I do how ever love how the old cars are in it as I love seeing how fast I can get them but besides that im not to keen on it. GT3 I loved and passed it 3 times now due to being board. I cant stand how you cant changr wheels as well. So who knows guys maybe my next post might be I gave it back to my friend (not my copy) and did not complete it.
