I would try for 100% if there was a car I wanted for it. But it's just a black F1 car, right? If it were something like the Audi R8 or the Sauber C9 I would get it, but it isn't, so I won't.

I'm happy on 28%. I have the Sauber C9, an F1 car, a 2003 Viper, all gold licenses, all missions done, Nurb 24 hours done, and pretty much all I could want! I think that speaks volumes for this game.

You get a nifty looking Jag at 50% though. Pretty fast car.
 
Got 100.0% all gold licenses and all cars (and photos of all cars too!). Now off to the task of testdriving all of them on all tracks possible...
 
Madd about this thread cause Drifting and everything else has interfered with my GT4 Grip file...It's kind of boring to me but I really want to finish it...Do I have to finish factory races too?

Ditto. I've been at 86% or something for 2 months, just been drifting and tuning :dunce:

Redoing (trying for gold) the licences now, learning manual + wheel so I can get a lil better... those last .080 seconds at A-16 keep eluding me though :irked:

I finally finished my last 24 hour enduro race last night thinking I had completed the game but it's now telling me I'm only on 99.8%. I have double checked that i have completed everything and it looks like I have but I will check for a third time. I know not getting gold in all the license test does not affect this. Does anybody know if there is an issue with the australian version of the game getting 100%? I know GT3 had this issue. Its very frustrating as I have spent many hours on this game and It would be good to be rewarded.

I come from the land down under. No problems with mine getting to 100%. Thought I'd finished, but then found some manufacturer races I hadn't completed. Plus 1 bronze trophy that looked like it was gold. Hope this helps.

No problems here either.

And I had the 'bronze for gold' problem a couple of times. Fortunately I wrote the results of every single race down so I could see that I got 3rd and not 1st from the notes even though on the screen they looked very similar....

For the people that are color blind, you can see the results of each race in the diary. Just read it from the start to see if you have not won any races.

Any races you enter will be marked in the diary and of those, any 1st place finishes will be marked with a big red symbol on the right.

I found a thing or two about my own racing using that system in the past.
Helped me to figure out something ... Just can't remember what. :confused: :lol:

Is there a master list of racers with 100% completed?

Finally, I mentioned it last time I was here, guess I will do it again- I've completed 100% of GT4. :D

I was also keeping track of the mods and MOV (margin of victory) which the game's diary doesn't do. Not to mention there is no search function (which any text editor has).

But for what he is trying to find the game's diary will do... lots of scrolling though...
 
I rephase my reply to say those that are color blind or have bad TV's ..............
so not to offend anyone.

The diary is indeed very limited in its recording ability.
I never had a problem because I never moved on from an event until I had won every race.
Memo to PD.
Update Diary for GT5, please include car used, car hp, lap times, winning margin ( or losing margin) and points awarded.

I found my paper notes I made in GT3 had no search function either.

My next GT4 game will have notes made.
 
I got to 100% about 3 months after the release of GT4 in Aus. I haven't bothered to say so until now, I suppose its not really relevant to anyone else but me, plus I don't see the point in gloating for the sake of it. Not even that great an achievement considering how many others have done it quite easily. ;)

I supppose it kinda implies I got to 100% in my sig...

Anyways, big ups (massive ups, GINORMOUS UPS, HUMUNGOUS UPS!! -ok I'll stop there :sly: ) to anyone who A-specced it all the way!

300%. First 2 times I used a fair amount of b-Spec so on the third time through I did it all in a-Spec. Wow, was that hard work, not to mention that the PS2 spend a few weeks without being turned off because of all the enduros. I have all gold in all 3 as well and I can say it was worth doing in a-Spec only. When you look at the stats and see b-Sec with 0 points it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, oh wait that the booz thats used to wipe the GT nightmares from your mind :) , J/K.

Love all the GT's. I look forward to the next one now.

Mission #34 is the one to watch. Doh! There it is in your sig :dunce: Clearly you know about #34...

I've just got the 2 Le Mans races and 2 FGT races, Suzuka & the 'Ring. Wish I'd done them when I did the championship now, I was in tune with that FGT car, but I was sick of having to do a 2 hour race every time I turned on the machine.

All credit to anyone who can A-spec those enduros, anything over 2 hours and I hand over to Bob. And I've barely done 3 laps of the Super Speedway (yawn).

But nobody could make me sit there pounding round Fuji for 5 hours (3 corners and a chicane? I know a roundabout more interesting than that...), nor yet Motegi for 8 hours, and as for Tsukuba? Forget about it.
 
I A-speced all 100% and the 24 hours weren't too hard, just time consuming. I was able to do them in about four days each by (sort of) watching movies on my computer while I was racing. I may have gone insane if I was just racing the whole time and nothing else. The real challenge was mission 34 and golding all my license tests
 
My hats off to all the guys who've done 100%. I've been at 94% for a while now but i just can't find the time between my job and other stuff to sit down and complete the long races...the 24 hr races and the championship with all those insane laps....those are the on;y things i've got left. I guess i could B-Spec them all but then where's the fun for me?

Mission 34 was of course the toughest thing but i think i've gotten consistent enough to get it done in 1 out of every 5 tries.
 
i'm at 95%,i haven't played that game about 3,4 months,because i'm so bored of this game.I have passed all driving missions,hopefuly i'll be here club soon

I don't suppose anyone else is particularly bothered, but that race has been hanging over me for about 2 weeks now, so I'm a happy camper!! :D
 
I might start grip racing again soon...And maybe I could tune and drift at the same time...But I sold ALL of my cars from my garage to get Cr. I wish I haven't had done that...Maybe if I get a 100%, I can redo all my stuff to get to 100% and maintain it? I don't know...Wish me luck :)

Well, had the game for about 5 months, still only at 30%!! All golds, but i keep gettin distacted by the WRS lol, i enjoy real competition :P, cant stay away from it lol. Congrats on 100% 👍 thats dedication for ya :)
