hey so i get a 1000 almost every day i run the auto apsec race...just curious i'm a collector and i wish to get 1000 different cars in my garage...i've just been buying any cars taht i don't have and that won't be the prize car...sad thing i keep getting cars that i already own when i redeem the ticket, any way to avoid this?

It's frustrating because I sell any duplicate cars right away but it has A HORRIBLE resale value despite no mileage on the car....ie I already own a LFA....i recieve one from a ticket...I sell it brand new and only get 127,xxx when it's been sold for almost 400,000 CR.

1. When you receive a 1000 ticket, do not use it, and save the game.

2. Exit the game to the XMB.

3. Perform a back up by copying your save data onto an USB flash drive.

4. Re-enter the game and use the ticket.

5. If the vehicle is not to your satisfaction, simply exit the game.

6. Restore your game save by copying your save from your USB flash drive onto the HDD.

7. Re-enter the game and try again.

8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 as many times as necessary.

Are you kidding me? The last two (and maybe the first) I'd be extatic over.

seems like a lot of work. I didn't realize the back-up function under Options you can select a specific game file only..i always thought you backed up all contents on your HDD...unless you are just taking back copying the save file which if it hasn't changed is copy-protected?

i got a bmw m3 race car...

and if i would have known about saving game files then, i would have got something better.

(i got the ticket a long time ago)

Just got a NISSAN CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R 08 a sweet ride. After 50 odd tries i might add......copy save file, cash in ticket, **** car, repeat!!!

I tried a few times by copying the option file. Got the SLR McLaren 03. It's the standard version though. To be honest, took half an hour for a car and the premium newer version costs 600k, probably better off grinding

you couldve EASILY grinded that much cash in half an hour..

An RUF something something. Not really what I wanted.

I remember my first 1000 ticket being a Oreca Team Playstation R8 and it's gone steep downhill since then.
