Hi, people.

I just registered to try to see if I could get some more useful info for this.

Well has my signature says I'm not really a starter in this (I stated this over a year ago, but have the game since the release). And s few of you already know me (well at least bttlefed knows me, for some time).

For some reasons I'm not able to get a new pic of my status (since I don't have a camera and a friend of mine was who took that pic some time ago).

So I have a bit more pts (but not to much more).

My actual is 110.763 (has it says in the signature), but the pic is a bit older

Just a little question: how is it possible to keep the 100% win ratio while a lot of 200 points races are quite difficult to reach !!!

And actually keep the 100% isn't all that hard (just a lot of ps2 resets).

But I already almost regret all the work to keep them, since I need to win the races in first try (or reset), I normally find the lineup I need and work the car setup (or use 1 done by others), and then race against that line up until I find out all the key points in the race and win it, after that reset the ps2, get the line up needed and try to replicate the previous winning try (this is only possible because the AI is to much previsible).

Just that.

And the 3 times I regretted it was in the GTi Cup, Tsukuba (after winning this I didn't realise I had set the Nitrous to the max after saving :banghead:

and doing the first win race, and then I spent 30 minutes losing every single try without knowing why...) :rolleyes:

Other was HK win the GTi Cup too, but this one was worst, I spent about 1 or 2 hours until I win it, then I went to lunch and came back (since I had done a pause I tried to see if I could do it again, and won in my first try

), but after that when racing the final time it took me more 4 hours to win it again... :banghead:

And the other one was Motorland in the MG event (same story has Tsukuba, except the nitrous thing and this one took more time, maybe 1 hour :banghead:

).

I've started to chase this seemingly impossible goal. Right now I have just 8,184 "usable" points. That's points from above my calculated 196 point cutoff per race (assuming 34 completed missions, 100 A-Spec/rally race, and no endurance points). Clearly still a long way to go, but I'll keep on going.

Thanks, and ya, I really have patience to keep it. Well sometimes, like those above mentioned, when I need to spend a lot of time searching for a line up or in endurance races (I'm not really a long endurance fan, but when I did the 8 and 9 hour endurance I did them in only 1 day, I also did a 9 hour run when I did my only 24hour endurance, that was Sarthe II), I almost lose my patience, but that's all the times it happens to me in this...

But still you are the one that did almost all races (including all 1-make and 1000 Miles! races), I'm just a average player at this, specially looking in what I still need to do (well in some way I still can say I have an easy race to win for 200pts, and that's Sarthe I, maybe Nur 24hours will not be to hard too, but all other races will be a pain to get max pts), saying that I also can say that I can at least get easily more 600-700pts (I have those 2 endurance at 0 has well has Sarthe and Nur in the 1000miles!), but since the objective is max A-spec, those 600-700pts would only make me sad, for seeing the finish so close, and so far...

And since lately I have being with my heart hurting me (physically and literally), and since that is mainly because of a lot of stress I'm staying away from those races (or at least not spending much time in every try), because if I put my in some extra and avoidable stress I think I will not last to much long...

It is DONE! Today I finally finished Nurb 24h and got the final 200pts, I have now reached the 111813.

It was a long and a bumpy road but so worth it. I have now many close and exciting races behind me, thanks to the max A-spec quest.

2 races - both PITA ones : The 1000 miles! @ Nurby which I'm leaving to last and guess what - the Mazda 4hr Endurance!!!!! So bttlefed will probably be next.

Fizio, you mean live for speed, right? I tried it sometime ago but didn't find it that enjoyable as I don't have a wheel to use. It is quite tricky to drive with mouse/keyboard controls...👎 If I someday get my hands on a wheel though its a different story. :sly:

Car-less, I don't know about the B-spec stats yet, I haven't really looked into it to see what it takes to max them out. Bob has some work to do though, as I need much more money to buy some of the more expensive cars that I don't have yet.

It's great to see that GT4 still has such a following. I play every now and then but most of my time is spent racing RC cars and with my Son racing MX. Looking forward to GT5!

I must try to update my pic. I still have a perfect win ratio (a few resets! :nervous:

) Is it M34? With that 🤬 SLR on the ring, that was a biotch! Many chioce words were used when racing that one. Still do not have all my B-Spec points yet, it got very boring. :yuck:

The list was easy.
Getting this subforum took a little more work but I was really happy to get Jordan's blessing to create it and have daan set up the 'closed' threads. (=no new threads can be made by members). The support I got from other A-spec nutters surely helped. 👍 At the time of conception I was quite a nervous wreck. :scared:

What am I going to do next? At this moment in time I don't really know. My B-Spec stats are not maxxed out but for some reason I not too bothered by that. Racing for 200 points using Stock cars - now there's a thought! 💡
Improving my licence times is one option I'm considering. Finding alternative 200 pointers is another.
I would of course like to continue to help those who have helped me over the last few years.
It's been a really long journey. Maybe just get back to having some fun racing again.
Oh, and wait for GT5 I suppose!!!
