An idea for few of you recently made the max points...
Buy G25 and try Live for Speed... With all my love to Gran Turismo I must sadly say that after trying LFS with G25, GT4 feels like an arcade game...
Maybe GT5 will be better (I sure hope so) but new ps3 still is quite expensive...

My idea and my picture too. The original is slightly larger, had to crop it to fit 120/120 for avatar.
Have you tried Rfactor, it seems to be good (I havent tried it myself)

A lot of hard work went into getting those points. There were some good times and some not so good. Those last few points took an eternity. One thing I would say - Keep persevering with it.
Han - You ask who's next? Battlefd is very close but haven't heard from him in a little while. Have just seen your sig-You're not too far away. It could be you.It could also be AMG. He certainly deserves it.
Han again - Have also seen your B-Spec stats. Most impressive 👍 👍

First, yes I know of my status, but I don't believe I will be next, those final 1-make races seam almost impossible for my current skills (yes I still think that the Roadster 4 hours is overrated in difficult for 200pts and it's just long, and no bad moves, you don't need to be exactly super fast to win that, just need to block, and that's easy and I like that kind of racing). Well I may find a way to win Tsukuba in the Hyundai (since I already lost it 2 times in the last turn of the last lap) and in the Suzuki Concept (just need to find the right place to knock the 1st car off the track to get the lead), but my other 3 seam near impossible for now (specially the Saleen one, but the others aren't easier...).
My 6th race is the one at 0, but that' Sarthe I 24hours and I don't see any point in doing it before maxing the other 5.
Off-topic:
Has for B-spec well I really don't remember much of it, since I did it after getting 100% (and by that time he was already in the 7000pts), I needed to translate the original Japanese text (well I actually only needed to translate a list nothing more), and used the first car setups the original author had in that time. I ended up needing to re-race almost all tracks to get my last 2 or 3 overall skills (that were all in the same track and for the same class, that I got in a luck shot, since I was getting bored of re-race all tracks, and had a filling that the pts were in 1 or 2 specific track, so I tried those tracks and was right).
I needed over 1 week to get those last pts.

At the moment I still miss:
2800 points in the Endurance Events
800 points in the European Events (1000 miles)
2708 points in the Manufacturers race Events
By the way I'd like to know precisely from those who reached 111813 what are the races in the manufacturers Events where it is not possible to reach 200 points and how much they got on these races. Is there any topic already tackling this question in the forum ? Thanks in advance for your help !

Renault Megane Cup - 5 races: 169 for each race
MG Festival - 5 races : 180 for each race
Triumph Spitfire Cup - 5 races : 159 for each race
Hyundai Coupe Series - 5 races : 176 for each race
Daihatsu Copen Series - 3 races : 166 for each race
Daihatsu Midget Race - 1 race for 152
Isuzu Sports Classic - 3 races : 179 for each race
Subaru 360 race - 1 race for 144

Congrats an major kudos to all that have got 100k A-Spec and the magic 111813 👍 👍 👍 .
I am in awe of what you guys have achieved.
.... youve basically beaten PD at its own game. You guys should be hired by PD to test out the new release of GTHD.I aspire to join the elite 100k club but not sure if I can make it with my current driving skills..

even though I am encountering some resistance at 31,068/27.3%. My only excuse is that I only discovered GT4 2 mths ago
(and yes I have been on another planet and only recently landed on GTP). But my recently aquired PS3 is dedicated to the 100k quest
and I already find myself nodding in agreement at the posts on the You know you're playing GT4 too much when... thread
therefore I request forgiveness for my past sins... 
I am still learning many aspects of the game, but one area in particular has me baffled, how the game calculates A-Spec pts
. I looked at the previous posts and know the basics but need to understand more to help select the best handling cars & tune for 200pts (and still be able to win the race with my poor driving skills ). i.e. is it just HP or does torque feature in the calculations? Any info in this area would be appreciated.Any driving hints and tips or sources of further info would also be grately appreciated. Currently I am struggling with maxing A-spec for the following races:
- German Touring Car Paris currently have 124pts using 190 evo II
..............................- Nurburgring currently have 143 pts using Audi TT (I just cant handle the 190 on this track)
Also welcome any suggestions for cars for :
- Tuning Car - Tokyo
- Prof World Classic all
- European 1000 miles - all
- 1,046
- Portugal
- Han_the_Dragon
Read (and post your questions) in the other threads (specific for every event), all the info you may need are in there.
And since you are starting I wouldn't put me already in the 1000 Miles! for max pts.
Just practice and you will see that things get easier (unless you can do what I did and always start blindly trying to do the hardest ones for no good).

From the sounds of things I think I will leave the DTM & 1000 miles for a later date to allow my driving to improve.
What in your opinion is the easier of the 200pts races/halls to do next?
So far I have got 200pts from all the SC/Beginner halls, 19 missions, Italian Festival, speedster throphy, clubman & NA sports.

(see post 343 and 346) It takes only 5 mins to view all the threads in this subforum and there arent that many. Proceed with this question in the Gen Discussion thread. We're trying to keep these threads as clean and relevant as possible. It makes it easier to find relevant info for future a-spec nutters. To be honest with you some of the easier 200 pointers are the Endurance races. Although they are long ( 24hr @ Nurburgring is very long ) 200 points can be achieved quite easily. Watch out for 150 Miles at Super Speedway and the Roadster Endurance. They are some of the hardest races in the whole game IMO. Leave some of the One Make races like Copen, Hyundai Coupe, Suzuki, Chrysler Crossfire until you have played the game a little more.
One idea:
Dodge Ram in American Muscle Car or PD Cup.
Suzuki GSX - R/4 '01 in the Tuning Car Grand Prix and Turbo Sports ( both Professional Hall )
And remember, NOS can be your best friend!!! You will need it at some point in your points quest.
