Actually, and I may be wrong on this but I did read it somewhere, the SLR was designed to look like the old 300SL, complete with unconventional doors.

Oh, speedy, I didn't know that either. Oh well, I already made a shot where I'm pretty satisfied with... In fact, I think this is my best two-cars shot yet.

Actually, and I may be wrong on this but I did read it somewhere, the SLR was designed to look like the old 300SL, complete with unconventional doors.

It was given design hints from the old SLR's that ran Mille Miglia 50 years ago . Besides, my reasoning is that the SL's are more direct links to the 300SL, while the SLR is in no way connected to the current SL's
