Something was wrong with my game data (NOT SAVE), so I deleted it from the XMB (wanted a completely clean install).
This means I have to update and install.

If I update to 2.05, should I be worried that my game save (currently saved for v2.04), might not work?

Also side note:
Had to sign and accept to new AUP from Sony after updating.

Main fix: They fixed the xp and cash from online racing.

i know that the 2.04 update made him not roll on it... but i wonder if anyone has noticed that it is actually still there in the bottom left of the screen... i watched it carefully and it is there but he lays on it but it doesn't move

It happens, I don't think any developer can say with a straight face that they've ever made a bug free "perfect" update/patch.

Are you having a giggle?????????????, 50% of PD's patches are fixing issues they have created in the other 50% of thier patches, im a coder for a living, not games much more boring than that, but regardless dagnamit we have guys that test out our software to destruction before we release it, and i make sure to test the hell out of it to make sure my error protection is solid before i give it to them, these guys are meant to be the top of the top, they dont seem to alpha test nevermind beta.

Spot on. Logic tells you that PD would test the additions before release but clearly they don't or don't do a very good job of it.
Have they ever released a patch that didn't come with bugs?

I remember Kaz saying in an interview that he wanted the game to be perfect before he would release it. Lol.
 
Complaints always arise, but maybe you guys should ask him for a job! Well, moving to Japan to work for PD would be a dream to some, I'm sure most wouldn't take it even if it was offered. Looking forward to the next update though.

Sounds more like a PSN issue, i.e. PSN doesn't tell GT that there is an update. This should be fixable in a couple of hours if this is really the problem.
