@PAPPACLART You can't copy or save the patch to an external storage device.
unless you use a CFW, then you CAN save the PKG to an USB... and it takes 5 minutes to run the whole glitch process.

I think why people want to use this money glitch is the credits are so low now and players just want a pay rise.
And if Poly were to corrupt savefiles from people who did this, well then I will play forever on 1.01 or 1.00 muhahahaha
Like sending our PSN an invoice you mean?Well... I would not be surprised if PD did something VERY lame on the matter. Like, yes, make all chaeted savegames unusable.
The fact there is still no fix when many very easy solutions exist seems to point that PD is working on something more ambitious than just fixing the exploit.
Glad to read you again Hun : ) !That would take you into offline mode only, servers only work with updated games. But don't worry, it won't happen.

Do you think so? I haven't done this yet afraid of loosing my PS3 account (ban), as I've spend a lot of money on PlayStation Store games (indie games) and I would miss my trophies too.
I've been looking for information regarding past GT 5 bans. As far as I know, those who used the money glitches (which in my opinion were worse than this, as they were real track glitches) were not affected at all. On the other hand, the ones creating or using hacked cars were told to be banned on an official Polyphony Digital message (I think banned only from the GT 5 online, not banning their accounts) but I don't know if they were banned at the end or not. I heard some were banned but not 100% of them.
I wouldn't name these "loses". They never lose mate, they just steal less..We'll seeing how PD might think the economy is broken in the game now after the glitch, hopefully they will release more dlc just too make up the loses from the glitch. More cars the merrier I'm looking forward too
Thats where they should of been looking to make the extra cash anyway. I'm quite dissapointed that Sony/PD added micro transactions. We'll seeing how PD might think the economy is broken in the game now after the glitch, hopefully they will release more dlc just too make up the loses from the glitch. Totally. 👍Just finished doing it. Finally I am ready to play and not worry about credits and cars. Feels so good.
Glad to read you again Hun : ) !
Do you really think so mate? I don't know.. I haven't done this yet in case of loosing my PS3 account (ban) on a later point, as I've spend a lot of money on PlayStation Store games (indie games) and I would miss my trophies too.

In this case the difference is that macro transactions are on the way. I've been playing GT series since the first installment and GT 6 is the worst regarding career balance. GT 5 was bad on its balance but GT 6 is ridiculous.
But sometimes I think we're in a rush and that GT 5 was exactly like this on the beginning (and maybe we should wait until they put seasonal events). But then one see also the rigidity glitch and.... jesus... it's so clear that this game is affectedt because of the macrotransactions... (like GTA V was with the online ammo price).
Exactly my thoughts mate. Exactly my thoughts. But then I readed this: https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1260There is a difference here, that is important:
Hacking a file using a Hex editor - whether to create credits, or pimp out a car to a ridiculous level - is against "terms and conditions"... and as such, legally, they can ban your account.
Glitching however, is very different. It is simply exploiting code that is already there.
So, using this 20M glitch is legally, no different to exploiting a track, or a tune that allows you to improve your place on the leaderboards etc. etc., and the most they can do, legally, is reset leaderboards or remove the times of glitchers, and fix the glitch.
Of course, in practice, it is not likely they will be sued in the civil courts by a person so banned, so they could in theory, do what they want.
Of course, if they do this, they will be losing a lot of potential customers for their monthly DLC packs. So, commercially, it may not be a great move.
Exploiting a Game Glitch
Exploiting any issue/environment, not intended to be accessible, to give oneself an unfair advantage in online play.
LOL and what if i'm a millionaire that can easily spend £8,000 on buying all the cars that I wanted to drive. Would I still be in the same category?Exactly my thoughts mate. Exactly my thoughts. But then I readed this: https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1260
Where they have this gem:
I know the chance is almost 0%, and as you said it would be the worst marketing move they could do (specially now with thousand of users doing this on top of IGN and even the Official Playstation Magazine sharing this cheat), but hey the macrotransactions were also an horrible marketing move and there they are.
Anyway, the more people doing this, the less chance of anything done against us (I really don't see Polyphony Digital loosing such an amount of fans).
I hate what nowadays gaming has become... years ago in 1998 we were all enjoying transfering our cars from Memory Card to Memory Car in Gran Turismo 1 and no one complained. Now with all this online thing gaming is just boring sometimes, too much updates and incomplete games. I still miss these cars only reserved for the skills (GOLD in the hard licences), now you can buy everything with money.
Who knows what they will do.
Say conservatively 1,000 people have done this, and the value of the glitch is around $2,800 as mentioned earlier in the thread, that's $2.8million of potential revenue, that's not small change. The fact the people who have done it have made themselves easily identifiable is just a bonus.
If I was a business owner, given the potential amounts of money, I would have to at least seriously consider it.
So the garage limit is 500, right?
I've been going this for the last days.
I had 800 million credits. That sum probably buys you all of the cars (-minus all the vision cars, dlc...).
My garage has 450 cars now. All cars above 100000 credits are bought. Excluded are some duplicates (Mazda 6 Touring, HSV,...)
Leaving me nearly all the other cars (700*50000) 35 millions to spend for the rest.
I still have some millions left from the 800.
So approx. you need 800 millions to get all the cars in the game. How long do you would have to grind for that?
It's ridiculous.
Now, thanks to the super nice glitch, I have all the cars I want (last time that happened was gt1 - gt4) 👍
I mainly do time trials and drifts so yeah
And if Poly were to corrupt savefiles from people who did this, well then I will play forever on 1.01 or 1.00 muhahahaha
That can happen with out the glicthing also, you do some races, you spend all your money buying cars, then you sell all of them and you buy cars again... you have spend more money that you have earned...I've seen on YouTube people saying they are banned... something about money spent was over money earned
