just did the glitch. no problems.

Spent about 8 million on a McLaren F1, F1 GTR, and the BMW McLaren. Also the Zonda R and a Ferrari Italia. With those out of the way the ~12 million I have left is just sitting.

Well, it took me 2 hours to make a $600,000,000 savings account. I took $20M, and spent about 20-30 minutes purchasing exactly 100 BMW M4s in 1.01. It goes quicker if you sort the BMW's by model year so the M4 is always at the beginning. It also goes quicker for selling if you choose to use the car right away, because the default list sort in the garage is the last used. As such, you'll have far less click selling them since the sort to they top. Just make sure you choose a car that's in 1.0 before you drop back. Then I dropped back to 1.0 and it took me 1.5 hours to swap 100 M4s for 100 $20M cars that will later sell for $6M. Now I can play the game normal, but if I ever need money, I have a giant trust fund waiting for me in $6M chunks. :)

Virtual money laundering! LOL

Which 20 million credit car sells the most?
They all sell for the same amount, since selling amount is based on the cost of the car. Just make sure you buy cars that are still 20,000,000 in 1.01 and have not been reduced.

You're supposed to delete v1.02. It's about 1200 mb. If you deleted something smaller than that, you did it wrong. You should be able to start up GT6 and the game will ask if you want to use your back up save and say yes. I corrupted my GT5 save when I was learning hex

Sooo....there's not any other way for the PSN version that's not entirely deleting the game data and redownloading 15GB for this glitch to work? bah!!

The payouts are an insult and grinding will be terrible impossible.

I have to disagree. Not just because paying $20 for a 20M car, included in the game you have already bought for $60, is a ridiculous price. Even if it only cost $0.10, it would be wrong.

It's like buying a car, and in addition to the cost of gas and regular maintenance, you had to pay a fee to the dealership every time you started the engine, if you wanted to drive more than once a day. You can still drive without paying the fee, but you'd better leave the car running.

Where did I say it wasn't wrong? It's totally wrong, but it would work. People hold on to their values until it's inconvenient. If the majority of regular players even care about the MTs.

It's actually pretty rare for fighting games to require you to unlock characters anymore, because of how damaging of an effect it has on multiplayer play. Vanilla SFIV was the last one I played that did so. Locking characters in the first place was a fairly recent invention in that particular genre anyway; and never one that was popular either (look at how much hell Nintendo always got for it in Smash Brothers games).

What? A ton of fighters make you unlock characters...Injustice, MvC3, SC5. SF4, MK, all the DBZ games, all the Naruto games and more all have unlockable characters. The only fighting game I can think of that doesn't is KI and you just have to BUY all of those.

PSN digital version at 1.01 and best if have disc also. All you have to do is exit to xmb and start either disc at 1.00 or digital at 1.01.

I would really hate to see GT ruined because of the greed of micro transactions. If Sony and PD thought it is necessary to put into the game for what ever reason, most probably because of other greedy developers and they also want in on the extra free cash. It is very greedy to want to even do this, then they squeez the game economy so as to make you feel that you have to otherwise you will be grinding for years.

I would not mind collecting cars providing the game had a good economy but since GT5 and GT6 are on the same machine with not much technical difference, I'm sure that they could of allowed us to port our cars over. The fact that they did not do this makes me question their greed, it was mentioned that this was not done because of hackers from GT5 but I very much doubt that.

It would be a shame to see Sony/PD tarnish their AAA title because of this practice, but there are options available. They are behaving as if their sim is the best on the market when it clearly is not. They still have to prove to us that they are not behind with the times, so this marketing move certainly does not make any sense.

I don't disagree with you, but I don't see how what I said and what you said are mutually exclusive?

So if you are one of the complainers, how is what i have done affecting your game experience in any way?

Nothing, I've said several times now that I have no issue is someone wants to do the glitch. I've also never said anything to even imply that I don't think people should be using the glitch. I just think people have been going a bit chicken little about the game economy just one week after launch.

I have now 40 GT40's in my garage and now I can sit back and play the game and not to worry about running out of money. God bless the money glitch.

I agree, so that's why I just did the glitch once .... got the most expensive cars but NOT every car. and am now carrying on with career mode without using my "glitch " cars or my "glitch" money - because I like the GT progression. but I also like racing on line & I like old cars & lots of the really expensive cars are old. But as has been said countless times before - as long as I am not messing with anyone else's experience in Gt6, I don't see the problem. The guys that have run the glitch several times & have every car in the game plus a stockpile of 20Mill cars for a rainy day aren't playing the game my way but crucially are not reducing my enjoyment of the game in the slightest. So if you are one of the complainers, how is what i have done affecting your game experience in any way?
Whoa what are you doing going talking sense about this?

This just made me realize... that when I went on my (rather limited) shopping spree... I neglected to buy much of anything that would likely be useful in any part of single player career! My whole purpose of my shopping spree was to buy cars I would simply like to drive for fun, mostly with my pals online, and mostly those cars are not at all useful for any part of single player.
In fact, I would say that 90% of single player seems designed specifically not to use all the cars in GT that I actually really like.

Woah! After glitching it's letting me get over $20 million! This is weird.

Video evidence in case somebody think's I doctored this:

So i've done this glitch a few times and I have a couple of "cars" (2055) sitting on my garage... can i go back and install the v.1.01 and the other new update that will give me the M4 that i will still keep the cars with the code "2055"?

It's probably already been pointed out, but don't be in one of the "glitch cars" after you delete your data file and go back into the game pre-1.02 to get your money. My PS3 locked up on me when I did that and tried to get into my garage to sell one of the M4s, forcing me to restart the console. Looks like I'll need to download the patch and try again...

Made the mistake of running the M4 seasonal, winning the car, saying "Yes" to using it now, and then quitting the game and deleting the patch before going to work today. So now I'm in a car the pre-patch game can't recognize, with no way to get out of it into something else, short of downloading the patch and going from there.

Lesson learned! :D (And yeah, if I'd thought about it for a few seconds, that would have made total logical sense and I wouldn't have done it that way. Being in a hurry seems to have cost me a bit of extra time!)

only the merc has the 2055 code and it goes normal after reinstal the patch.. hapened to me with the deltawing.. couldn't sell it so I just reinstal the patch and the car was still there...

I'm one of those people that would not mind if I had access to everything right away, infact I would prefer it. That would make the game much more fun for me as I like taking cars onto the Nordschleife to compare lap times with other cars in my garage. Thats where the fun factor lies for me, not grinding for months on end to collect the cars for me to enjoy much later.

Maybe PD could have an option in the very beginning of the game, 1. Normal and 2. Unlocked

As a busy family man sometimes I only get 3 or 4 hrs a week, how long do you think it would take me to unlock all the premium cars with that much time?
