20 million credits for free!

Hi Guys,

I am in the middle of exams, will be done in 16 hours. Can someone confirm that this will work/ check for me in around 16 hours? That would be noon Eastern Standard Time.
I would really appreciated it.

As someone said before, Sony really can't do anything as they may already have a class action lawsuit on their hands because of micro transactions. If you were to buy a car using micro transactions and that car disappeared in the stockyard, you're out of real money. So how are they going to punish people over fake money? Those people will likely never buy another game in the GT series.

Surely heads at PD will roll for this.

I just cant believe that at the time they start the Micro transactions to (i assume) make more money for development etc, they miss a glitch that means people dont need to spend anymore real money. I am truly amazed - Gobsmacked !

I bet the staff at PD and Sony are doing this : :banghead: 🤬 :nervous:

Anyway, i havent glitched yet, at this stage am working through the races and accumulating as i go. I had so many cars in GT5 that i didnt drive, didnt feel the need to clog up the garage again !

I suppose for us digital download owners, Sony could update the original game download with the updated 1.01 version, but that would not help if someone already had version 1.00 on a separate hdd. Having already bought and sold hundreds of cars now, the interface and ridiculously unnecessary cut scenes are absolutely terrible. The entire front-end design of this series is a joke and it is not user friendly at all.

I see why these games always take forever to create, as the user interface has the same lazy and plodding methodology built right into almost every single action the player does. I've found myself repeating the question, "Are you serious?", more than any other game I've played.

And what about the DLC cars I brought in GT5, Why do I have to buy them again for I paid real money for them and there in GT6 the same car and I should not have to buy them again to me that is wrong.

Isn't it ironic how back when companies didn't use micro-transactions money/coin glitches were pretty much non-existent, and now when companies use micro-transactions these glitches are pretty much commonplace?

This is the 2nd major money glitch for a AAA title recently, with GTA 5 Online suffering something similar.

This is why GT6 should have been renamed GT5.5: The Complete 15th Anniversary Vehicle Almanac Edition. This series has become the vehicle collecting version of Pokemon with each carbon-copy iteration becoming almost as repetitive as Call of Duty. There is nothing revolutionary nor are there any new advancements to truly be proud of. Okay, so PD/Sony has compiled all of the previous iteration's vehicles, added 120 more and compiled all of the previous GT5 tracks and added seven new venues. Wonderful! Okay, how long have we, the die-hard fans been asking for realistic damage, intelligent AI and realistic sound effects?

So are you guys just buying all the cars in the game right now?

Tomorrow I'm grabbing all the 20 mil cars, hoping it won't be patched by then. Maybe I'll try to do the BMW trick for 50 mil

I have 1386 cars at the moment. 160 or so are XJ13's that I can sell when I need cash. I used to play for the advancement and build up (I have actually never 100% any GT game as I enjoy starting over) but because the "career" mode is so abysmal in this iteration, I just might as well play with all of them now.

If you decide to do this, please take something into account: Its VERY EASY for PD to know who did it. How? Easy: The game keeps stats of the total earnings, races and wins. If you have earned just 2 millions, but you have spend 40 millions... you can be busted!

Not only that, imagine people who spent $50 of real money and found out a day later that everyone else is getting almost three times the credits for free from a glitch.

It's a seperate game. IMO, your cars shouldn't transfer GT6 any more than they should transfer to Forza.

I'll take my chances. What's the worst that could happen? Stop playing the game?

They could ban you from online races and/or delete your garage. After that you may want to stop playing the game... So yes... Stop playing the game is the worst that can happen :P

And they would do nothing about it to that person. It is simply PD's fault this is happening, and as far as I am concerned it is not illegal.
Also, people are not modifying the game data.
But yes, you can be busted(I think).

Count all the people in the world who spent $50 on GT6 credits. Then count everyone in the world who glitched free credits. Have a democratic vote to see who gets what they want. What do you think the outcome will be?

You know how wide spread this glitch is? There are tens of thousands of players who have used this glitch (possibly >50% of players) and PD are not going to go through the time and effort to investigate every account to see who has glitched.

It is better business for them to NOT ban those who glitched, as there is a chance these people will purchase future DLC. Banning them will most likely result in people not playing the game anymore or worse buying and spending money on another rival franchise.

Also by your logic anybody who bought micro-transactions can also be busted, as this money wouldn't come under winnings or earnings.

Of course they can't investigate everyone's accounts individually. It is possible there is some sort of data in the save file that they could use to determine if the glitch has been used.

You can have earned 50,000, sold a prize car, and spent the money from the sale and your winnings.
You can always have greater money spent than earned.

There isn't any data like that, most likely. All it stores is stats, and the lists of cars you have and the properties of those cars. It doesn't log "x did this at x time" most likely, otherwise the save file would get absolutely massive from all of the glitching (which it hasn't).

I remember GT5 had a log of what you did in-game. I don't remember how far it went back, but I think it's possible GT6 might have something like that as well and it just doesn't show you. I don't think the saves would get any larger from glitching than from playing the game normally, buying cars, doing races, etc.

I think the Dictator Yamauchi would have the glitchers executed before the vote was held.

Well I haven't purchased an xbox one or ps4 yet (I always wait for games to evolve). I've been a PS guy forever but if they go after paying customers when they intentionally attempted extortion, Forza 5 would look pretty good at that point.

Because you bought them in GT5, not GT6.
The cars were transferred from GT5 to GT6 and my playstation ID and details are the same in GT6 so them DLC cars I brought with real money in GT5 they should be mine when I got GT6 and that is my opinion on this.

they won't do anything.

did rockstar do anything for the glitchers in GTA 5? no.
usually developers don't do anything but fix it because after all, it was their problem to begin with. It's not like we're hacking/modding the game.. we're just using it as an advantage.
