2002 C5 Z06 Corvette

Just got a yellow '02 C5 Z06, only 30k miles. Pristine condition. Mostly stock but a Magnaflow exhaust and Cyclone air induction. Future mods are after market wheels, lower ride height, halogen headlights, and headers/cam. This is my new daily driver, I traded in my Malibu, I couldn't do a 4 cylinder anymore, needed a fun daily driver and got a great deal on the price of the vette.

Apparently I can't add pics from my phone, I get "invalid file" so I'll post from pc when I get a chance.

I'm not driving the GTR near as much as I want, I keep the miles down and keep it clean. So its more of an every other weekend car as of right now, so that's another reason I jumped on the Vette.

Everytime the carb acts up on my dad's '68, I tell him about these. As much as nobody wants him to get rid of his car, I feel he'd love just being able to get in and drive the newer car without any hassle. Also better mpg.

Yeah I like the ACI splitter too, the tiger shark is 2 pieces, bumper and splitter.

Go with the C5 Z06, atleast you can say you own a Z06 and not a standard vette . Out of the box the Z06 very fast, has upgraded suspension and with simple bolt on's and a tune it can do some pretty good damage. I'm gonna do headers and cam in the future. If you do decide to go with a base C6, do a 2008 or newer as the 2005-2007's dont have the power the 2008-Current do. Plus the money you can save from the C6 can be added to the C5 Z06 and make it pretty damn fast.

The GTR or Vette? The Vette only has exhaust and air intake. It's N/A and will stay that way for quite a while. Only mods I plan in the near future are headers, cam and a tune. But If you are ever in south Florida it would be fun to have a go

Definitely the vette since I'm posting in this thread. I wouldn't have a snow ball's chance in hell against the GTR. For that I'd ask to borrow my best friends tuned Turbo.

Unfortunately I don't foresee me and my car being in South Florida.

I think you will take the Z if you have 600bhp with the supercharger lol. I do want to twin turbo it but it will cost way too much. Just sticking with cams and headers, maybe s/c it wayyyy down the road. I'll be happy with 500 bhp.
