Hulk already down to third. Alonso really hounding Lewis for fourth. The Ferrari is damn fast down that straight!

Vettel running away with it.

EDIT: McLarens now going backwards through the field. Alonso on Hamilton, Schumi on Button.

Alonso has to get the podium for his championship push... he's on the Hulk's case now...

Great overtake by Alonso on Hulkenberg... now Hamilton is on his case.

That Williams just isn't that quick in the dry... Hopefully next year they'll get better engines.

Once Hamilton and Kubica pass Nico, it should be status quo till the finish... but you never know.

The question now is how Alonso's engine will hold out... and whether the Red Bulls will keep it together.

Hamilton said he had no grip, on the team radio.

I think he's being too conservative.

Edit: Still can't get past Hulkenburg.

He has no grip. It's pretty obvious from the onboards that he's suffering massive understeer behind the Williams... just not enough flow over the front wing in that wake.

Given that he's performed a zillion overtaking attempts in the past several laps, I wouldn't call that conservative!

I'd pit now if I were Hamilton. That Williams is really holding him back.

Massa having issues... had to pit a second time in two laps. Button's early pit may give him a few more places, given the train behind Hulkenberg... now Nico pits... Lewis has a little clear air.

Hamilton in clean air as Hulk pits... complaining about no grip... funny... he's only two tenths off the Red Bulls... but they're probably running conservative. Alonso first under 1:17, it appears...

What do you guys thing will happen up top with the two red bulls? Going to be any issues this time if it gets heated between vet and web?

Well, I don't hope for a Turkey moment. The gap between the Red Bulls are around 3 seconds, so I doubt any action.

Hamilton's getting fast laps! 👍

Hamilton's McLaren is now lapping faster than the Red Bulls... about 1:16.6s, RBRs, doing 1:16.8s. Kobayashi and Rosberg yet to pit... Hamilton can try to get around them and maybe leapfrog Alonso... but it's dicey... Alonso is in the pits now. Okay... Lewis isn't going to catch him. Clean pit for Fernando... a little twitch on the way out, but he's in clear air.

RBRs trading fastest laps. Mark is making a statement here... Vettel may have him beat this race, but he can match Seb on pace here... good performance for Mark. Ferrari and McLaren can't touch RBR's dry race pace... damn.

Button finally takes Kobayashi... Button in 5th... should stay there if he can keep his tires in good shape till the end.

Well... there's still time to watch Kobayashi and Sutil fall backwards through the pack...

Oooh... Barrichelo had issues in the pits earlier... and now his front left is gone... poked it on Algesuari's wing. The Brazil curse continues!

So what does or what should red bull do? Do they let web ahead for vet? What would you do? How would you feel if you were vet?

The gap between the Red Bulls is 2 seconds. Webber can feel Vettel's turbelent air.

And there's so much traffic (it's a very small track)! Maybe this could help Webber.

I'm wondering what the RBR team management at the pitwall is thinking right now. Webber has the pace, so will they ask Vettel to move over with the thought of bringing Webber only 1 point behind Alonso or will they go with the plan of having the possibility of both Webber and Vettel still having a shot, but with a larger gap to Alonso and let them fight it out between each other?

Come on, Alonso's engine, please blow

Not fond of seeing races decided by skill?

So what does or what should red bull do? Do they let web ahead for vet? What would you do? How would you feel if you were vet?

Ideally.. they'd let Webber ahead... but they're adamant they'll let them race. I prefer it that way... whichever of the RBR drivers wins, he'll have earned it.

Webber is doing an impressive job of matching Vettel... has held the fastest lap for the past dozen. Gaining a lot of time through traffic.

Remember the rule, no team orders?

The gap between Vettel and Webber is 1.5 seconds. 8 car traffic coming up.

Tough one... although I would love to see Vettel defer to Webber, he shouldn't. Perhaps if this same situation plays out in the next race too, the situation will be different - a Vettel-Webber 1-2 (in that order) with Alonso in 3rd will hand Alonso the title. I hope that Webber can avoid that by beating Vettel fair and square, but no-one can expect Vettel to defer when he still has a chance himself...

Whoa, Hulkenberg has fallen back a bit much. He's close to getting lapped by Vettel and Webber. :( At least he's still gonna get a point :sly:
