I'm just looking at the driver tracker and some of the cars are showing at a location inside the loop somewhere.

What's there? Is it a team meeting/storage point?

The driver line-up for the top cars is stupidly good, particularly note-worthy is the eponimous Manthey 911. Not exactly lacking for talent.

Marc Lieb
Timo Bernhard
Romain Dumas
Lucas Luhr

Awesome to see one of my all-time faves Frank Biela back racing aswell, in the Raeder TT.

My mistake, I was looking at the bottom of the picture where the cars are clustered.

Haha, yeah thats what I figured. That little feature will be nice once the race starts, though. Being able to see where everyone is. What would be REALLY cool is if they had a little icon wherever there is a camera, and you could click the icon and get a Live Feed from that camera.

Ta, I think I found it simultaneously :D

Team Tobias Schulze, fairly easy to find in the datenbank as it's the only GTR. KY not listed as a driver but given the ad hoc nature of much of the website that doesn't surprise me!

Here's the car that he's going to be driving... although this one doesn't seem to have 71 on (it has something ending with 0) :D

only day 1.. day 2 is tomorrow.

Felt like adding this to the thread so that people who haven't seen it, or haven't seen it in a while, could check it out!

24 hours in 19500 frames

And a new one for this year!!

Preparing for the Green Hell

3:00 pm local time -- 11:00 am EST.

Pre-race festivities start around 9:30 on radiolemans and most of the streams.

Year after year, I have so much respect for all the racers who take part in this event. They can race this track MUCH better than I can ever do in a racing game. Good luck to all racers and teams competing in this year's 24 Hours at the Nürburgring.

My mistake on the EST times.. The race will be starting at 9am EST, not 11am.

Pre-race is therefore at 730am.

Radio Le Mans audio stream of Qualifying 2 starts now.

Except that there was a 5 car crash in the classic event and things are delayed by about 50 minutes.

Amusing explanation of the different classes at the moment.

I've tried Sport1, but its territory locked :grumpy:

I know and it a bit silly to lock it as you can get that channel if you can move you satellite dish to point at a slightly different bit of sky. 👎
