Passed Vettel at the start, stayed in front of him the whole race, didn't crash into another driver and end two guys' races, didn't pass under yellows, didn't throw bits of bodywork at cars behind him, finished on the podium.
While being covered by his team mate at the start of the race, securing him a clean position, and then a few "Fernando is faster than you moments", so yeah, he did nothing.

I didn't notice Vettel's overtake under yellow flags, are there some videos? I only heard that Kobayashi was the victim of the overtake.

Drive of the day was Kimi, who tried to get back at the track through a closed section.

In all fairness, Hulkenberg was impressive today.

Martin on Vettels illegal pass,

Sky were very confused by it and promised to investigate, so good to see they're good to their word.

Which just leaves the uninvestigated crash and the disintegrating car.

You know what, since Massa is so damn great, why did he only have 2 points over the first 5 races?

Let me guess, Alonso?

First lap, Vettel & Bruno are running side-by-side, Bruno has the race line but Vettel cuts him off, causing Vettel to spin and Bruno to wreck his Williams.

I missed the start of the race, so was Vettel to blame for the incident that seen him spin?

Yes, I'm sure that the three other cars with the same team owner between Vettel and Alonso made life oh so very difficult for Vettel in his battle to scrap for the lower points positions he desperately needed after taking two guys out.

Sky is at the moment investigating the Bruno incident with the help of Alan McNish. In his opinion it was a race incident and Vettel might've not seen Bruno, but it was Bruno's line and Vettel cut him.

Call me a sour Hamilton fan, but I really don't feel that Vettel deserved the championship this year. He's had a few good drives, but his driving habits are questionable a little too often for acceptability, and he is certainly gifted many of his rewards, including from the stewards in my opinion. Other's would not get away so lightly with the same antics.

I hope they replace Senna with Kobayashi at Williams.

I think that Bottas has already replaced Senna for 2013.

Wow, really?

Not seeing another driver is not an excuse though. Like you said it was Bruno's line.

The incident was not investigated at all. Speed's Will Buxton spoke to Senna afterwards and Senna stated that he Vettel turned into him.

So if it found that it was Vettels fault, wht happens then? Because if he loses a single position, doesn't the WDC goto Alonso?

And with that, the final F1 race coverage for Speed, much like the network itself, has come to an end. Will miss the old trio alot.

Congrats to Vettel, shame he's a 3 time WDC at such an age and I have a suspicion that Red Bull's 2014 ERS will be very strong.

Bernie Eccelstone at the end of BBC coverage

"Thank you for a very exciting championship and hope you'll be watching again next year." *In a very dull and miserable voice.*

He might be miserable but his miserable outlook on everything and the fact that he thinks he is God makes him funny. :D

At least as deserving of a drive-through (which would now be a championship-changing 25s penalty, rather than a drive-through for a guy who was in last already) as squirming a bit under braking and tagging a guy on your outside, wouldn't you say.

Sky is now analizing the yellow flag incident with Kobayashi and are showing that clearly there was a yellow flag AND a yellow light but then there was a green one (?), the overtake took place, and then again yellow lights.

So if it found that it was Vettels fault, wht happens then? Because if he loses a single position, doesn't the WDC goto Alonso?

I think Vettel needs to be 8th or lower. So he would need to get at least a 20 second penalty, and if Hulk got 10 for his collision, that won't be enough.

I don't know. One one side, I would hate to see it decided in the office and on the other, Vettel needs to be penalized for what he did.

It's looking more and more likely that it's going to be dry. I hope everyone that said earlier this week; "OMG IT'S GOING TO RAIN ON SUNDAY" have learned their lesson.

It was the same thing in 2011. Saturday, after qualifying, the forecast said that there was a very high chance of rain before/during the race. Guess what? It didn't rain, at all.

👍

Mclaren can only blame themselves, they threw it away with unreliability. The question is whether their car was fast due to pushing the boundaries of reliability or not.Lewis certainly can't blame himself. Very unlucky.

The ending of this GP also marks a sad moment as it's the end of the SPEED team with Varsha (and possibly but hopefully not) Buxton not migrating over. :(

Here's to hoping Buxton follows Varsha and Hobbs over to NBC.
