Personally, the greatest disappointment of this race was seeing the Hulk's fantastic run end as his car slipped sideways on a wet track, and having the dunderheaded stewards add injury to insult by giving him a drive-through for something all the drivers had been doing all race... losing grip in the rain. Bunch of geniuses there. Still, massive respect for the guy. Only one able to keep up with the McLarens in the wet. Amazing.

Great damage control from Ferrari. Even greater damage control from Red Bull. Sad to see a driver get cheated of his championship. Maybe next year, Kimi. Maybe next year.

Such a shame, I definitely think that Alonso (and Hamilton actually) both deserved to win this Championship more than Vettel did. 2 World Championships are probably about right for his level of Skill IMO.

Still, congrats to Alsonso for a Valient effort!

vettel is lucky?only the most blendid Alonso fan would say some thing like this!
Tell me what did Alonso do this race?

Great race, though a bit cold on the very end.

Shame for Hamilton, he deserved to take this last win for McLaren. Congrats to Vettel, his crash on Senna could have ended his race prematurely, but fortunately he got out unscathed and managed to remain cool until the end. I'd say he has shown a lot of maturity in this race.

His car is in one piece, and he didn't cut off a driver, causing them to DNF for starters...

Oh and both Ferrari drivers deserve some credit because they had endure the long stint on the softer compound and they did not go off pace during that time.

Yep, drive of the day for me was Hulk, unlucky for Hamilton, almost Schumi level bad luck.

Alonso has now lost the 2007, 2010 and 2012 WDCs by a grand total of eight points.

Drive of the day by Massa.

Bernie Eccelstone at the end of BBC coverage

"Thank you for a very exciting championship and hope you'll be watching again next year." *In a very dull and miserable voice.*

Tell me what did Alonso do this race?

Passed Vettel at the start, stayed in front of him the whole race, didn't crash into another driver and end two guys' races, didn't pass under yellows, didn't throw bits of bodywork at cars behind him, finished on the podium.

I just have to say kudos for all the drivers not in McLaren's as it must have been difficult driving those butt ugly cars.

Caterham wins the 10th on the last race.
This need team needs to rack up some points in 2014. Please.

Congrats to Vettel. Other drivers would have also deserved the title, but the title goes (and has always gone) to the best driver-car-team comination. Certainly well deserved on the whole.
After taking out two drivers and overtaking under yellows, yep, he deserves it
Overtaking under yellows? Wasn't it a yellow-red flag for slippery conditions? Wow, how mad can you be about Vettel winning the championship...

feeling pretty harsh on Hulkenberg for getting the drive thru for a racing incident, great race from him, wonder what happened to Mario though
**** happens,

Martin on Vettels illegal pass,

@mbrundlef1
To answer many it appears the warning lights were red and yellow for slippery track not yellow so nothing to answer for Vettel.
