2013 12 Hours of Sebring ALMS

Well I've just sat down 5m from a V8 Vantage GTE for the next 12 hrs at 'Sebring12UK' again, hoping for another good race :) Not so confident anout having the 91 Viper in the sweepstakes though

I used to be good at finding things online, but lately I just feel out of the loop. Can't find a feed. I'm seriously about to just drive to my parents' house and watch it there.

And one of the Corvettes immediately through traffic and into the lead of GT!

Clean start by everyone. Look how fast the #1 Audi is pulling away.

How many laps do they manage on a full tank of fuel?

The 009 Aston now ahead of the Risi Ferrari (which apparently had a slight problem with the rear brakes). And the Delta Wing now in the pits.

And the Muscle Milk HPD now ahead of the Rebellion car (in traffic)

EDIT--not in traffic. One of the Rebellions went wide.

I'm not sure where official streams are online, but you can try FirstRowSports>Motorsports, it should be on there

The lead Corvette now with a stop and go penalty for making contact and punting one of the PC cars on the opening lap. Aston now leading GT.

* Sorry for those who can't find a stream. I checked and Speed2 will only stream after SpeedTV goes off air. And I can't even get onto the main ALMS page--it must be overloaded. If anybody finds a stream, please post it.

Watching on nutjob.eu through a WiziWig link. Audi's running away with it again but to someone who has just joined the streaming MuscleMilk seem to be competitive.

Also try Audi Tv, they stream most things they race in, although it may be onboards and highlights only

I didn't agree with the penalty. You could see earlier on in the lap, the P2 car was going slow. One of the Ferrari's took him a few corners before. It looked like he broke for the corner a little too early and didn't realise how close the train of GT cars were behind him. The driver was also centered on the track so there was very little room for others to overtake him, especially in the braking zone for a corner, ahead of cars he's not technically racing.

I thought ALMS was supposed to fix that this year :grumpy:

Yeah, they're supposed to fix it every year. :indiff:

Yeah, Muscle Milk now more than 10 seconds ahead of the Rebellion cars. And the Audis have totally checked out. (No surprise there though)

I couldn't get to the main page but that is live timing.
Though I have to repeatedly refresh the page.

If just a timing page can't be smooth why bother w/ internet coverage, just let us all see it on TV. :grumpy:

Go to WiziWig and you will be able to get a live stream from SPEED TV. Or just go to the site it links to it which is nutjob.eu and click on SPEEDTV. The clarity is great and you don't get buffering problems of annoying pop-up ad's to tell you to download or install ILivid.

I didn't realise Bruno Senna had made the switch to Sports Car Racing. He's racing in one of the Aston Martins.
I wonder if he'll make an appearance at this years 24 Hours of Le Mans.

With another ex-F1 driver in Pedro Lamy and 3rd is very good methinks considering AMR is working with a brand new Aston. Go Brit's!!

Not surprised to see that Dyson is so far, no where to be found around the front of the P1 field. Missed the start unfortunately (so much for setting my damn alarm clock :ouch:), but watching nonetheless.

So far good for the Greaves Motorsport with regard to tyre choice. The choice to be the only LMP2 team with Dunlop's seem to be paying off. David Brabham running well. Looking out for him and Greaves Motorsport.

I have a signed model of an Aston Martin Racing Vantage from 2005 when it was Turner, Sarrazin and Brabham.:)
