Great results today (for Arsenal at least :P). Let's just hope we don't bottle it as per and instead come out 7 points ahead... Could be a good end to a good weekend.

Big win for Fulham against an in form Villa team and I think every United fan would like an Everton win but I cant see it happening...might be a point though..

Sorry about this double post but its not letting me edit my last post...

...anyway the 3rd round of the FA Cup has been drawn and the big news is that Arsenal have been drawn to play Tottenham at home and Man United are at home to Swansea (:indiff:), Liverpool are home to Oldham/Mansfield, Chelsea away to Derby and Man City away to Blackburn

We always get the all EPL draws. Anyway, that North London derby is the pick of the bunch.

So far it's 0-0 between Everton and Arsenal which is probably the best result.

Scratch that. Arsenal 1-0 up.

A little disappointed we didn't hold on to all three points after scoring so late, but credit where it's due Everton definitely put up a scrap to deserve a point.
Nevertheless we are still top and increased our lead (albeit marginally) meaning we can suffer a loss and a draw till the points are even, and we have three tough games coming up against Napoli, City and Chelsea. It's going to be an interesting few weeks 👍

One more game left this weekend with Swansea v Hull tonight, both teams can go tenth with a win..

..also David Moyes has said that there will be no panic buying in the January transfer window, good...the last thing we need is a panic buy who turns out to be a crap signing..

Hey, Chelseas best player for the past two years has been a panic buy. Can't be bad all of the time.

Mata wasn't a panic buy was he?...or are you talking about Hazard...or Oscar?

My friend who supports Chelsea told me that the was a Panic Buy after they couldn't get the player they had originally wanted. Which was Modric I believe.

I could be wrong though. I was not following football when his transfer was made.

Happy with the Swansea result last night, it wasn't a good performance but we fought back after going behind and we have been in good form lately with only one defeat from the last four games and that was away to Man City...

Was a good week for us last week, getting max points in both of our games. However, I'm still concerned that we are conceding sloppy goals, we got a tricky schedule coming up away to Tottenham, Man City and Chelsea.

Oh, forgot to mention no Gerrard due to injury aswell, massive blow for us. It's time for everyone to step up and show we are capable without Gerrard during this tough schedule coming up.

Fingers crossed, will be satisfied with a point at Tottenham this weekend.

Two things in the Mirror today that's rto do with United that left me fuming, one of them is real and the other is a bit of football gossip

..first thing is that Ashley Young has gone on record that he wont apologise for the diving and simulation and that he does it blatantly does it and its up to the refs to deal with it, what a disgrace he is!, I know players have dived and not apologised but they are the likes of Bale and Suarez, world class players, Young isn't a world class player..far from it, and all he will be known for is diving...he needs to get the hell out of the club and take Anderson with him!

..the other thing is that Chelsea will be back in for Rooney in the January window and they have been given a boost by the fact that we haven't offered him a contract extension yet...im soryy but is the club being run by idiots and imbeciles now?!...he is our best player by a mile this season, give him another two years now! Get it sorted!!

Robin Van Persie is out for a month with a thigh injury.

Someone's paddle just fell overboard.

Yep it is very bad news about Van Persie...looks like its going to be one of those seasons..

....two massive games this weekend though with Man City v Arsenal on BT tomorrow and Tottenham v Liverpool on Sky on Sunday!

They have had some really good games this year!

Also back to Man United for a sec, losing RVP is clearly a big blow but the next 6 games is against teams below us starting with Villa away Sunday, im not saying that these games will be easy but its a good opportunity to go on an unbeaten run..

It doesn't look like any game will be easy for us this season but our next 5-6 will be the easiest run of games that we'll get.

Arsenal have announced that their tickets will rise by 3% next season. The ticket prices are already disgusting, £62 for the cheapest ticket at a category A is an absolute joke. When will it stop?

When people refuse to pay...

As for Man Utd, they do have a run of a few easier games, but without Van Persie they've been poor, and on current form I wouldn't be surprised if they fail to get 12 points from their next four games.

Wow... 9 goals at the Etihad today... Man City were always in control, however, and they looked very dangerous throughout the game. Considering Sergio Aguero was taken off after a few minutes of the second half, it's quite amazing how easy they made it look. Giroud had another woeful game, as did the Arsenal defense in general... Man City looking like proper title contenders today - and maybe the Arsenal bubble is bursting?

That was the worst defensive display from Arsenal in a long time, that combined with terrible officiating led to that Heavy defeat, very very poor defensivly though.

With the combination of that 9 goal thriller and Thierry Henry on MotD, I'll be watching tonight.

What a game of football that was!, great advert for the Premier League...

So dissappointed with that result, though I didn't see the game due to work so I can't really judge our performance. By the sounds of it, offside decisions etc. weren't in our favour, but that doesn't hide the fact we conceded 6 goals.

Our results so far this season against the genuine title contenders of this season and the past few (City, Chelsea, Man Utd.) just show how far we really have to go to win the title, and I still firmly believe that we are only top of the league due to a kind fixture list :(.

Also, I've heard that Giroud played very poorly, which wouldn't be a problem if we had bought a good quality striker in the summer  Instead, Wenger did his usual trick of persevering with a striker who doesn't want to be here (Bendtner) and a postman (Sanogo).

And for anyone who is going to call be fickle (which someone on here did a few weeks ago after the Chelsea game) my stance on Wenger has not changed. I still want him gone unless he invests in a quality striker AND wins us a trophy this season.

I don't see why you're complaining, Man City can, will and have wrecked opposition, especially at home.
City 4-1 Utd
City 6-0 Spurs
Munich 2-3 City

A 3-goal loss was hardly a surprise, see what they will do when Liverpool and Chelsea come to town...

Kinda hope City get PSG in the Champions League actually, would be a VERY interesting game...

Don't be jumping conclusions now, it's how you set up against Man City at there ground. ;)

Honestly can't see Chelsea and Liverpool concede six goals at there ground.
